“I’m sorry about Lisa, I hope you find her” Hannah said as she stood up and raised her head. She saw Brandon staring at her and Lucas.

“Do you need help in the kitchen? You just cut your finger, you could use some help” Lucas who hadn’t noticed Brandon was behind him Said.

“No, it’s fine. I will ask the maid to prepare the food” Hannah said and walked past Brandon, going upstairs to her room.

She sighed the moment she got into her room and sat on the bed.

She’s doing exactly what she said she wouldn’t do, getting involved in whatever was going on between Brandon and Lucas, she thought and gave in a deep breath.

Meanwhile, Brandon who is seen downstairs stares at Lucas, giving him a dagger look.

“Don’t give me that stare, Big Brother” He said as he walked past Brandon, and walked outside the house.

He hopped into his car and zoomed off.

Brandon on the other hand wasn’t ready for any fight with Lucas, he felt Hannah must have hated him already, he needed to talk to her, he thought as he climbed back the stairs going upstairs to Hannah’s room.

“Hannah” he called as he moved towards her.

She stared at him not knowing what to say.

“How did you cut your hands? Does it hurt? I can take you to the hospital if you want to” Brandon said, looking worried.

“No, it’s fine. It’s just a small cut. Besides, Lucas had helped me clean the wound” Hannah said Brandon nodded in response and they both went silent at once.

“I….. I’m sorry for how I have been acting recently, I’m sorry, Hannah. I have been acting so insecure and I know you hate me now and……”

“What are you saying? I do not hate you, Brandon. I don’t” Hannah said as she stood up staring at Brandon and he nodded.

“I didn’t want to sleep with Lisa. I was drugged and didn’t know what I was doing. I wasn’t in control of myself” Brandon said and Hannah sighed.

“Lucas doesn’t believe she drugged you, he thinks it’s the other way around,” Hannah said and Brandon sighed softly.

“I believe what you say, Brandon, I believe you.

Do you have any idea where Lisa is now?” Hannah asked and Brandon nodded negatively.

“No, she left when Mellisa had died. I tried finding her but it seems like she left the city. It would be impossible finding her” Brandon said and Hannah sighed.

“I know you think Lucas hates you or is a bad person, but he doesn’t.

He’s your brother and you are his brother. He’s hurt and he feels betrayed because of what happened and his pain has turned into rage and anger.

You should understand that” Hannah said and Brandon nodded. He knows Hannah too well, no matter how bad someone is, she tends to see good in that person.

“Please just stop fighting with him, just stop, please. He’s promised not to get on your nerves but he wants something else in return” Hannah said as he raised his eyebrows.

“What does he want?” He asked

“Lisa, he says he wants her back,” Hannah said and Brandon’s face fell.

Lisa cannot come back, she was the one who came between him and Lucas in the first place. She’s trouble, her coming here will only make things worse.

“What’s wrong?” Hannah asked as she noticed the looks on his face

“Nothing, I’ll ask Liam to do some searching,” he said and Hannah nodded.

He had wanted to walk out of the room when Hannah called him, making him stop.

“Brandon” she called and he turned to her.

“Fixed things with your brother. He’s your family, fix things with him” Hannah said and Brandon nodded and moved towards her.

He then kissed her lightly on her lips, gave her one last glance before walking out of the room.

The moment he walked out of the room, he bit his lips. He had lied to Hannah when he said he didn’t know where Lisa was. He lied. He knows where she was but he cannot afford to make her come back.

I’m sorry Hannah I can’t do that. If my brother wants war, then war it is, he thought and with that he walked away.

Meanwhile, Matthew and Jessica who had left the house are seen inside a bar, with drinks on their tables.

“I’m sorry about my brother, he likes sticking his nose in things that ain’t his concern,” Jessica said and Matthew smiled.

“It’s nothing. I will get used to it. You should give him a chance, Jessica. I don’t know why you don’t like him but he’s your brother” Matthew said and Jessica sighed and nodded.

“I like him, it’s not like I hate him,” she said calmly.

Yeah, I understand” Matthew said in response.

“Let’s not ruin this with the discussion of my brother,” Jessica said and Matthew chuckled.

“I really love this bar, I do come here alone to relax my head whenever I’m stressed and this place we are sitting is my favorite spot” Jessica said and Matthew muttered a wow.

Just then the front door to the bar opened revealing Lucas. Jessica raised her head and saw Lucas scrutinizing the whole bar.

“Shit” she muttered as Lucas caught a glimpse of her. He smiled and walked towards them.

“What’s wrong?” Matthew asked as he noticed the look on her face.

“Oh, little sister. I knew I would find you here at this bar. This place has always been your favorite spot” Lucas said as he smiled and sat with them.

“What do you want, Lucas?” She asked.

“Nothing, I just want to apologize for being a dick since I arrived. I want us to start again, a clean slate” Lucas said and Jessica raised her eyebrows.

Lucas asking for a clean slate is weird and impossible.

“What are you planning, Lucas?” Jessica asked and he laughed.

“Nothing, we are family and it’s not nice we aren’t on good terms. I just want us to be a real family again” Lucas said and Jessica hummed and then turned to Matthew who hadn’t said a word.

Just then a lady in black walked towards the table they were sitting on, and stared at Matthew.

“Mr. Alexander Robert,” the lady said while staring at Matthew.

“Excuse me,” Matthew said as he stood up. He felt his heartbeat increase at once.

“Ain’t you Alexander Robert, the only son of Marisa and Robert” the lady said and Matthew turned to both Jessica and Lucas who were staring at him and the lady.

“Sorry, you got the wrong person, my name is Matthew….”

“You look so much like Alexander. I’m sorry I thought you were him” the lady said and Matthew who was looking nervous smiled as he watched the lady walk away.

“Uhm, I’ll be outside,” he said and with that, he walked away.

“Hmm, weird. Alexander Robert” Lucas said and Jessica rolled her eyes and stood up before going outside to meet Matthew.
