Hannah who is seen climbing down the stairs had seen Mellisa and Lisa conversing while they laughed. She smiled as she stared at them.

She saw the soft look on Lisa’s face while he smiled. They were bonding.

The thought of her kids came into my heart. It’s been a long time since she had spent quality time with her kids and bonded with them because of work.

She needed to make enough time for them. She sighed softly and then walked out of the house.

Immediately she got out of the house, her car was nowhere to be found.

She walked towards the chauffeur who was washing the Lamborghini.

“Where’s my car?” She asked.

“Mr. Brandon asked me to take it to the mechanic,” He said and Hannah raised her eyebrows looking confused. Her car wasn’t having any issues.

She sighed knowing fully well Brandon was at it again.

She turned and saw Brandon’s car. She walked up to the car and opened the door, there he saw Brandon in his car operating his phone.

“Really? What happened to my car? ” she asked and he raised his eyebrows, staring at her pretending not to know what she was talking about.

“Brandon, my car wasn’t having issues, why would you take it to the mechanic?” She asked and he rolled his eyes.

“It needs to be serviced. You use your car and forget to service it. Get in the car Hannah, I don’t want to be late for the Board meeting” he said and she stood hands akimbo staring at him.

She wasn’t going to get in the car, she was going to make him late.

“Please, a client is coming to see me at the company, please get in,” he said, giving her a handsome look. Hannah sighed as she couldn’t resist the look in his eyes.

“Fine!” She entered the car and closed the door. she glared at him and looked away immediately.

He moved closer to her and tilted his head, moving his lips closer to hers. Hannah swallowed into nothing. She closed her eyes waiting for him to kiss her but then he pulled back.

“I was just gonna fix your seat belt. What were you thinking?” He asked and she opened her eyes and glared at him.

“Nothing,” she said as her face flushed in embarrassment and she looked away from him facing the window..

Brandon smiled as he ignited the engine and zoomed off. During the whole ride, he kept stealing glances at her.

A black Rolls-Royce screeched to a halt in front of Colby’s company. Hannah alighted the car in a rush and walked inside the company as she didn’t want to walk hand in hand with Brandon.

Just as she was about to walk inside the company, she saw Jessica talking to Liam.

“Hey,” Hannah muttered with a surprised look on her face.

Liam smiled at Hannah before walking away.

“Hey, seems like you just arrived” Jessica said and Hannah nodded as they both walked towards the elevator.

“Yeah. I heard about you and Matthew, I’m sorry for what happened. I hope you are okay?” Hannah said as they both entered the elevator and she pressed the button to the last floor.

“Yeah, I’m not new to heartbreak, I guess I will be fine,” she said with a smile on her face as the memories of Matthew came running into her head. The smile on her face disappeared.

She missed Matthew and the thought of him betraying her breaks her heart the more anytime she thinks about it.

Hannah had noticed the look on her face and then signed.

“I have been there too. You’re gonna come out stronger. If you ever need anyone to talk to about anything, I’m here for you Jessica” Hannah said and then pulled her into a warm hug.

A tear slipped down Jessica’s cheeks.

“I guess I needed this hug. Thank you Hannah” she said as she wiped her tears.

Ding!, the elevator had gotten to the last floor. It opened and they both walked out of it.

“What brought you to the company?” Hannah asked as they walked to her office.

“I had come to see Brandon to ask him to hire me for a job but I had a change of mind the moment I saw you and decided to ask you for a job.

I know you are the chairman of the board and also the COO. Just a word from you and I will be hired.

I need a job” she said and Hannah raised her eyebrows surprised. Jessica Colby wants to work. Surprised.

“I just need something to get my mind off Matthew, you of all people would understand, ” Jessica said and Hannah nodded.

“Your father owns this company, Jessica. You can work here whenever you want. I think the position of assistant Pro is still vacant. You can apply for that” Hannah said and Jessica smiled and nodded.

“I’ll submit my CV tomorrow, then” she said and Hannah scoffed.

“There’s no need for that, you are hired! You can start whenever you want” she said and Jessica smiled and hugged her.

“Thank you so much, Hannah,” she said and Hannah nodded.

Meanwhile, Brandon is seen walking to the elevator with Liam beside him.

“What time is the client arriving?” Brandon asked as they both entered the elevator.

“noon,” he said and Brandon nodded.

“Did you know Jessica is at the company?” Liam asked and Brandon raised his eyebrows surprised.

“What is she doing here?” Brandon asked.

“She wants to work here-”

“What? Hell no! Jessica cannot work in my company ” Brandon said as the look on his face turned into a frown.

Liam paused and swallowed into nothing when a text message popped inside his phone.

It was a text message from Hannah asking him to prepare an office for Jessica.

“I think she’s got the job already, your wife hired her-”
