Hannah hummed and Lisa moved towards Lucas, held his hands, and pulled him to a corner.

“Where’s Jules? Whatever she told you was a lie” she said and Lucas scoffed.

“Really? I know Mellisa isn’t Brandon’s child” he said and Lisa opened his eyes wide and moved back a bit.

“J…Jules lied to you” she stuttered as she swallowed into nothing.

“She didn’t, there is evidence to back up everything she’s told me. And trust me I would love to tell Brandon all of it.

Because once he finds out about it, you’ll be on the next flight to Prison” he said and Lisa sighed softly as she stared at him not knowing what to say.

“Please do not tell Brandon,” she begged immediately knowing fully well once Brandon found out she was dead.

“I wasn’t planning on telling him either. I don’t like Brandon, he thinks he knows everything, he should figure out all of it by himself” Lucas said as he gave Lisa one last glance before walking away.

He was about to go back to Hannah who was at the dining table when he saw Brandon was already with her.

He kissed her on her cheeks and she laughed. He felt jealousy rush through him at once.

He quickly looked away and went upstairs to his room.

Lisa on the other hand had walked upstairs to her room. She closed the door behind her and sat on the bed with a look of anger on her face.

She hated Jules so much, how dare she rat her out to Lucas. She doesn’t trust Lucas, she needs to act fast and do everything she needs to do.

She sighed and then laid on the bed about to sleep when she noticed Mellisa wasn’t in her room.

“Damn!! Where did she go to” she thought as she stood up on the bed. She sighed when she realized the little girl must have gone to the octuplets room.

She wouldn’t be able to go get her since it was already late. She would go get her by morning.

It was morning and the octuplets and Mellisa were seen at the dining table eating with Arianna and Lisa sitting with them.

It wasn’t long before Jessica had joined them.

“Look who’s back again, the divorcee. Woah, I guess Kim Kardashian’s stolen ring has been recovered” Lisa said and then smiled. Everyone knew she was mocking Jessica.

Jessica stared at her and looked away. She wasn’t going to exchange words with her. She just can’t wait for the DNA test to be carried out and the truth would be revealed finally.

She can’t wait to see Brandon throw Lisa out of the house, she thought as a smile curved on her lips.

“How are you feeling, Jessica?” Arianna asked with a concerned look on her face.

“I have never felt so better,” she said and Lisa hummed softly. She noticed Jessica was looking happy, she wondered if she had made up with Matthew or if there was something else.

The octuplets, on the other hand, kept staring at Jessica, trying to speak to her through eye contact.

They wanted to know if the DNA test had been conducted but Jessica didn’t understand the eye communication.

“Okay kids, time for school,” Arianna said as she stood up and the octuplets stood up too, and walked out of the house.

Meanwhile, immediately after they left, Jessica stood up and walked out of the house leaving Lisa and Mellisa all alone.

She walked outside the house, entered her car, and drove off to the laboratory downtown.

She gave the hair samples of both Melissa and Brandon to the doctor and asked him to do a DNA test.

She had asked the doctor she needed to get the test result in time, after which she decided to go to Brandon’s Company.

She needed a position at the office to get herself busy, it would take her mind off Matthew, she thought.

Meanwhile, Lisa and Mellisa who was still at the table kept stealing glances at each other without saying a word but then Lisa finally spoke.

“You won’t be spending the night with the octuplets again, ” Lisa said and Mellisa’s frown.

“And why is that?” She asked.

“Someone already knows the truth about you and me,” she said in a whisper not knowing Brandon was climbing down the stairs and had heard what she had said.

“What truth?” Brandon asked as he walked towards them.

Lisa stared at him with a nervous look on her face not knowing what to say. Mellisa saw the look on Lisa’s face and decided to help her out.

“Daddy, Good morning,” she said as she stood up and went to hug Brandon.

“Hey, sweetheart, how was your night?” Brandon asked with a smile on his face.

“It was okay. I and Mommy were just talking about going to shop for some books and some necessities for my school. I will be resuming school next week” she said and Brandon nodded.

“That’s a good idea,” Brandon said and then brought out his card from his pocket and gave it to Lisa.

“Get her whatever she needs,” Brandon said and kissed Mellisa on her forehead before walking out of the house.

The moment he walked out, Lisa heaved a sigh of relief. She was almost caught. Jeez.

She turned to Mellisa.

“I never thought I would say this to you but thank you,” Lisa said and Mellisa chuckled.

“It’s nothing, I know you staying here is the only way my grandma would be getting treatment, so, I would do anything to make sure we stay here,” Mellisa said and Lisa felt her heart melt instantly.

She stared at the little girl with a soft look on her face. She really loves her grandma.

“What about your mom? Is she alive?” Lisa asked and Mellisa sighed softly before she finally spoke.

“No, my mother died when I was born, I do not know my father. Grandma never spoke about him” Mellisa said with a sad look on and Lisa sighed.

“I’m sorry about that. You don’t have to sad, I’m here now, I’ll be your mommy” Lisa said and Mellisa chuckled and Lisa bit her inner lips and sighed.

“Did I just say I will be your mommy? You are making do and say things I never believed I would do or even say” Lisa said and Mellisa smiled.
