Chapter 265

It was morning and Arianna had woken up so early so she could get the kids dressed up for school.

She had gone downstairs to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the kids but then to her utmost surprise, she saw Lisa in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

She stared at her with a look of surprise on her face. She wondered what she was cooking, why she was cooking, and who she was cooking for.

“What’s going on here, Alex?” she asked the butler and he sighed as he stood beside Arianna.

“I woke up and met her cooking, I’m still surprised why she’s cooking,” Alex said and Arianna paused for some seconds before she finally spoke.

“I hope she isn’t preparing the family breakfast, I don’t want us getting killed in this house,” she said with a weird look on her face Lisa sighed and raised her head, staring at Arianna and the butler.

“You both realized I’m right in front of you guys and I can hear what you are saying,” she said and Arianna rolled her eyes.

“Please tell the maids to prepare breakfast for the kids and the rest of the family,” Arianna said ignoring Lisa and with that, she walked out of the kitchen and walked upstairs to the kid’s room.

She opened the door to the kids room and saw they were still asleep.

“Wakey, wakey” she muttered as she pulled the curtain open and the ray of the morning reflected in the room.

“Grandma, close the curtain” they murmured from their sleep.

“It’s morning and the public holiday is over. You guys do not want to be late for school” she said as she pulled the duvet over them one after the other.

Meanwhile, Adrianna had just woken up from her beauty sleep. She noticed Lisa wasn’t in the room, she wondered where she had gone too.

She touched her stomach and then groaned softly, she was feeling hungry. She went inside the bathroom and brushed her teeth before going downstairs for breakfast.

If there was one thing Adrianna loved about this house was that they prepared breakfast on time and she could eat whenever she liked.

She went downstairs and walked inside the kitchen, where she met Lisa preparing breakfast and the maids also preparing breakfast.

She wondered what Lisa was doing in the kitchen.

“Hey, Mellisa, you are awake,” Lisa said as she removed the chicken from the oven, removed her hand gloves, and wiped her hands before moving towards Adrianna.

“What are you doing in the kitchen? I thought you hated to cook?” She asked and all the maids turned to them as they heard what she had said.

“It’s too early to embarrass me, honey,” Lisa said as she pulled Mellisa away from the kitchen to the dining room and helped her sit on the chair.

“I woke up so I could prepare breakfast for you,” Lisa said and Mellisa raised her eyebrows looking surprised.

“You were angry at me last night and I thought maybe I would make it up to you by cooking something nice for you,” Lisa said and Mellisa scoffed.

“I hope it’s not poison,” she said and Lisa rolled her eyes.

“I’m only doing this so you won’t ruin my plans. Sit here, the food is ready, I would bring it now” she said and walked inside the kitchen.

A few minutes later; she came back holding a tray of food and then dropped it on the table.

“What did you prepare?” Mellisa asked, staring at the plate.

“Baked chicken and some rice,” she said as she opened the place and Mellisa hummed.

“I hope it tastes nice as it looks,” she said as she took the fork and knife and took a cut from the chicken. Lisa sat down staring at her while she took a bite from the chicken, she had this weird look on her face while she chewed it.

“What’s wrong?” Lisa asked as she took the serviette and suddenly spit it out.

“This has no taste and it’s half cooked, I can taste the blood of the chicken in my mouth, did you even wash it? , please do not ever try to cook again” Mellisa said as she rested her back on the chair.

“Fine, at least I tried,” she said as she asked the maid to get rid of the food and throw it away. It wasn’t long before the maids had finished cooking and they served it on the table.

The octuplets who were ready for school, climbed downstairs and walked to the dining where they had their breakfast with Arianna sitting beside them.

“So, Mellisa, when would you be resuming school?” Allison asked.

“I don’t know yet, I’m waiting for my mom, ” she said with a shrug and Lisa rolled her eyes.

Just then Brandon is seen climbing down the stairs, Lisa stares at him and notices how handsome he looks.

Truth be told, Brandon was looking more handsome with every day that passed by, she just couldn’t wait for when she was going to make him her property and push Hannah away.

“Hi Daddy” the kids echoed at once and Brandon smiled, as he moved towards them and kissed them on their cheeks one after the other.

“How was your night sweetheart?” He asked at once and they all responded.

“Daddy, when would I be resuming a new school?” Mellisa asked and Brandon stared at Lisa.

“Whenever you are ready, I will make the necessary arrangement,” he said in response and then turned to Arianna.

“Hey Mom” he muttered as he sat on the chair and Arianna smiled at her.

Just then Lucas walked to the dining table and took a croissant. He took a bite while staring at everyone.

“Hey uncle Lucas” the octuplets said at once and Lucas smiled at them.

“That’s a lot of children you’ve got Brandon, did you plan on birthing the whole world?” Lucas said while staring at the octuplets. Brandon stared at him without saying a word. Lucas stared at Lisa and was about to walk away but then he paused and turned to Arianna.

“Where’s Jessica? I haven’t seen her anywhere” he asked.

“She’s in her room, sleeping,” she said and continued eating her food.

“Jessica had broken up with her boyfriend, I mean her gigolo husband, turned out he isn’t who he claims to be,” Lisa said and everyone stared at her.
