He tilted his head and suddenly smashed his lips on hers.

He pulled away from the kiss and then opened the door for her.

“You can go continue your cooking,” he said and she stared at him and quickly looked away as she felt her cheeks turn red.

Hannah smiled as she went to the kitchen and prepared dinner. After which the family had dinner together, except Lucas who was at the wine cellar, drinking himself too stupid.

Hannah had assisted the maids in clearing the table.

She was about to walk out of the kitchen when Brandon walked towards her.

“You look worried during dinner, what’s wrong?” He asked as they both walked out of the kitchen.

“I’m worried about Lucas, he’s hurt,” Hannah said and Brandon sighed.

“He’s going to be alright,” he said and Hannah nodded. Just then the front door opened revealing Lisa.

“She’s back” Hannah muttered with an eye roll as she and Brandon moved towards her.

“And where is the child?” Brandon asked and Lisa stared at the both of them and then turned towards the door.

“Melissa honey, you can come in,” she said as they all stared at the door and a little girl walked in.

Hannah paused the moment she saw the little girl, she was just the way Brandon described her to her. The baby blue eyes, the blonde hair, she was so adorable. She looked like she was twelve.

She turned to Brandon who was staring at the child looking speechless.

“No, this is too good to be true. Mellisa is still alive and she’s right here in front of me” Brandon whispered as he felt a wave of happiness run through him.

“Melissa, this is your Daddy, Brandon,” Lisa said and Mellisa smiled and then moved towards Brandon and hugged him.

“I have been waiting for a long time to finally see you, I’m so happy right now,” she said as she pulled away from the hug.

Brandon was speechless, he tried speaking but words weren’t coming out. He couldn’t believe her daughter was alive after all these years.

“Is this the daughter? Brandon, she looks so different from Melissa and she could easily pay someone to act as Mellisa” Jessica who is seen climbing down the stairs said but Brandon paid no attention to her as he touched Mellisa’s face.

He couldn’t believe what he was seeing, his daughter was still alive. He felt his heart leap up in joy.

“Brandon don’t tell me you believe she’s your daughter,” Jessica said and the little girl stared at Jessica and noticed the expression on her face. She was looking scary.

“Jessica, could you please stop? This is Brandon’s child and I wouldn’t lie about it. You think I would just have left all those years without saying goodbye to Brandon, I had to leave to protect her.

And stop acting like a bitch, you are scaring her” Lisa said as he moved towards Mellisa and held her hands.

“You Liar, I don’t believe anything that comes out of your mouth, it’s all a lie,” she said and Brandon turned to her swiftly.

“Could you please shut up Jessica or go back to your room?” Brandon said and Jessica stared at him looking speechless.

“What? Brandon, you are siding with her?” Jessica muttered as she clenched her fist and then went upstairs to her room.

“Hello Mellisa, you are so pretty,” Hannah said with a smile on her face and Mellisa smiled at her in return.

“Of course she’s pretty, she’s a copy of me and Brandon together,” Lisa said and Hannah rolled her eyes.

Brandon then asked one of the maids to take Lisa to the guest room.

“It’s in there already. You can go, I need to spend time with my daughter ” Brandon said and Lisa raised her eyebrows.

“You are kidding right?” Lisa smiled but then the smile on her face disappeared when she saw Brandon was serious.

“No, are you hiding something from me?” Brandon asked.

“No, I’m not. You could spend time with her if you want to” Lisa said as she smiled at Brandon and then climbed upstairs to the guest room.

She needed to check if her clothes and everything were still in place.

Brandon then carried Mellisa and helped her sit on the couch and then sat beside her.

“Where have you been all these years?” Mellisa asked and Brandon paused for a few seconds and then let out a sigh before he finally spoke.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t with you all these years. It’s a lot more complicated, I’m here now. I promise to take care of you and be a good father” Brandon said and Mellisa nodded and then stared at Hannah who was staring at the both of them.

“That’s Hannah, your stepmom. You could call her mommy if you want” Brandon said and Mellisa nodded in response with a smile on her face.

“You have siblings too, I would be introducing you to them soon but first…..” Brandon paused when he heard his phone ring. It was a call from the company.

“I need to answer this call,” he said as he stood up and then walked away leaving Hannah and Mellisa all alone.

“Is it true I have siblings?” the little girl asked Hannah and she nodded and moved towards her.

“Thank Goodness, at least my stay here is not going to be boring. This house is so big, it’s my first time being in a mansion like this.

My mom told me I might be staying here longer than I expected and might start a new school here. I’m going to miss all my friends” she said and then sighed softly.

Hannah stared at her and then sat beside her.

“You could still visit your friends from time to time. The chauffeur could take you there every now and then. I could even take you to see your friends if you want,” Hannah said with a smile on her face and Mellisa opened her eyes shocked.

“Really? Oh my goodness, you are so sweet. I wonder why my mom said I should stay away from you” Mellisa said and let out a sigh.

Hannah furrowed her brows.

“She asked you to stay away from me?”
