“But he would listen to you,” he said and she stood up at once.

“No, I’m not doing it. It’s not a nice idea and there’s zero percent chance he would even listen to me or believe me” Hannah said and Brandon let out. Sigh.

“I know this might come as a surprise to you but Lucas cares about you. Trust me he would listen to you. Please, you are the only hope of helping my brother get out of this woman’s plan” Brandon said and Hannah paused for a few seconds before she finally responded.

“Okay, fine, I will try,” she said and Brandon smiled at her.

Just then they heard a knock on the door. Hannah opened the door and saw the maids holding the shopping bag she had left in the car.

“Thank you ” Hannah muttered as she took the bags from them and took them in.

Hannah took the bags in and placed them by the side of the bed. Just then Brandon heard his phone ring.

He checked the caller’s ID and saw it was a call from the office.

He ended the phone call and put it back in his pocket.

“You should answer that,” Hannah said and he smiled and moved towards her.

“I want to spend this entire day with you, with no disturbance from anyone, just me and you,” he said as he kissed her lips lightly.

She rolled her eyes and just then the phone rang again.

“You should answer that, I mean it this time,” she said and Brandon let out a sigh as he brought the phone out of his pocket and answered the phone.

“This better be important,” he says as he answers the phone call and walks out of the room.

The moment he left, Hannah decided to go prepare dinner for her kids since it was evening already.

She walked out of her room and went to the kitchen, where she met Lucas taking a bottle of water from the fridge.

“Hey,” Hannah muttered.

“Hey,” Lucas muttered as he turned to her. Hannah smiled at him.

“Uhm, Hannah I want to apologize for what Lisa did the other day. Pouring Coffee on your work file. I know she said she didn’t do it but I also know you would not lie. Anyways I’m sorry” he said calmly and Hannah smiled.

“It’s nothing. So, how’s things going between you and Lisa?” she asked.

“Things are going well. I love, Hannah and I wish to start all over with her again” he said with a smile on his face and Hannah stared at him with pity in her eyes.

Oh, poor Lucas. This lady doesn’t love you, why don’t you see the truth in front of you, Hannah thought.

She just couldn’t tell him, she didn’t want to hurt his feelings, he’s so in love with her, she thought and then sighed.

“You are a fool to believe she loves you, Lucas” They both turned when someone spoke and they saw Brandon standing by the kitchen’s door.

Shit! Hannah muttered as the look on Lucas’s face changed.

What is he doing? I thought the plan was for me to talk to Lucas.

“What did you say?” Lucas asked with a frown on his face.

“I said you are a fool to believe Lisa is in love with you,” Brandon said as he stepped fully inside the kitchen.

“You are saying this because she doesn’t want you. I get it, you are pained she chose me” Lucas said and Brandon scoffed.

“Wake up, Brother. That woman is using you. What if I tell you, she came to seduce me in my office the other day, saying all sorts of shit about you” Brandon said and the frown on Lucas’s face deepened as he made to move towards Brandon, Hannah quickly moved to their middle.

“Guys, please calm down,” Hannah said as she turned to Brandon.

“What do you think you are doing?” She asked in a whisper.

“He’s telling the truth, Lucas,” Hannah said and Lucas stared at her with a surprised look on his face.

“You too?” He asked and then shook his head.

“I would never lie to you about any of this. I’m telling the truth, she’s trying to come between you and your brother. She’s trying to break the bond between the both of you” Hannah said and Lucas raised his eyebrows.

“Whatever Brotherly bond was between me and Brandon had been broken a long time ago when he drugged Lisa and got her pregnant so he could have her,” Lucas said and Brandon chuckled.

“She lied to you, Lucas. Everything she said is a lie. She was the one who drugged Brandon. She’s been lying to you” Hannah said and Lucas stared at her and then at Brandon.

No, Lisa wasn’t lying about that, he believed her. He wasn’t gonna let anyone come between them, he thought, and then gave them one last glance before walking away.

“Damn!! What did you think you were doing? I thought we had a plan?” Hannah asked with a frown on her face.

I had to do what I needed to do, I knew there’s no way you would have told him, Brandon said and Hannah gritted her teeth.

“You ruined the plan. This is what you always do, you ruin plans and ruin everything ” Hannah said and Brandon sighed.

“I’m sorry alright, I just had to. No matter how the truth hurts, he needs to know it.

He’s my brother Hannah and I love him and I care about him. I have always cared about him. He’s my younger brother and it’s my responsibility to protect him” he said and Hannah Blinked twice as she stared at Brandon.

He finally admitted he cares about his brother. She smiled to herself.

Lisa is seen on the bed going through her phone when Lucas suddenly walks in with a sad look on his face.

Lisa stared at him wondering why he had such a look on his face, but it was not like she cared. She just had to pretend she cared.

“Hey, are you alright?” Lisa asked and Lucas paused for some seconds and turned to her.

“Yeah, I’m okay” he finally said as he stared at her and then looked away.

He loves Lisa so much and he doesn’t want to believe what they said was true.

“Lucas, the money I asked you for, you haven’t given it to me,” she said as she stood up from the bed and hugged him from behind.

“I’ll send it to you when I get back,” he said as he removed her hands from him and moved towards his wardrobe and then changed his clothes…

“You are heading out?” She asked.

“Yeah, I need to meet up with someone,” he said as he picked up his phone and walked out of the room. Lisa hummed, she felt something was off about him but she didn’t care.

She just wants him to give her the money he promised her.

Just then she heard her phone ring. It was a call from the person she had asked to find out everything about Hannah.

“What did you find?” she asked the moment she answered the call.

“You won’t believe what I found?”
