“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to ruin the dinner,” He said and Hannah sighed.

“You should not be apologizing to me, you should apologize to your mom, Jessica, and Brandon.

No matter how angry you feel towards him, never mock him with his dead daughter, it’s wrong” she said and with that, she walked away from him.

Lucas sighed. He didn’t want Hannah to hate him, he was going to do all she said if it would make her happy, he thought.

He decided to go upstairs to his room.

Meanwhile, Hannah who had gone to her room, opened the door and she was welcomed by the sight of Brandon sitting on the couch.

His face looked down, he was looking sad.

“Hey, are you alright?” She asked as she walked inside the room leaving the door slightly open. He nodded and stood up.

“I just came to inform you about the banquet party that will be hosted tomorrow by Mr Thomas. You would be attending it with me” Brandon said and Hannah nodded in response.

He glared at her and was about to walk out of the room when he paused and turned to her.

“Hannah, I………” he paused and swallowed into nothing. Then moved towards her and continued.

“I just hope you love me back the same way I love you,” Brandon said and Hannah stared at him wondering why he said so and what was going on in his mind.

She stared at him without saying a word. Staring at those beautiful eyes of his, she had almost felt lost in it.

Just then Brandon grabbed her by her waist and pulled her towards him.

Hannah could feel her heartbeat increase as he gazed into her eyes. He leans in and gently places his hands on her cheeks, his gaze still on her eyes.

What have you done to me, this woman? Every fiber in me craves you and just the thought of you drives me crazy, he thought as he stared at her with love in his eyes while caressing her face.

“Brandon” she called in a whisper as she swallowed into nothing.

He closed the gap between them and then pressed his lips to hers.

Hannah at first had wanted to resist but she didn’t, instead, she let him kiss her and she kissed him back.

It was a soft, slow, tender kiss. They were almost lost in the kiss as they stayed connected for a few moments but then Brandon suddenly pulled away from the kiss when he felt he was about to lose control.

Meanwhile, Lucas who was about to go into his room had wanted to pass by Hannah’s room when he saw the door slightly open and from there he saw Brandon kissing Hannah.

He felt the surge of jealousy rushed through him as he kissed her. The color of his eyes had changed into red. He suddenly moved away from the door and walked to his room.

He opened the door and entered the room then closed the door behind him. He moved towards the bed and sat on it, anger flowing through his veins.

Brandon had ruined my relationship and my life and now he’s happy, no, it won’t happen. I’m going to ruin his life, he thought angrily.

Meanwhile, Isabella is seen at the dining table eating dinner when suddenly her dad walks in and joins her.

“Sweetheart, how are you?” Edward asked as he kissed her on the cheeks but Isabella paid a deaf ear to him as she didn’t say a word.

Edward sat on the chair and stared at her. He knew she was angry because he hadn’t told Brandon to marry her but she doesn’t understand that he cannot do it without Elizabeth.

It was him and Elizabeth that was planning all of it all along but all of a sudden, she had left the country.

He needs someone from Brandon’s family to back him up before bringing up the proposal but now his daughter is sad and impatient, he has to find another way.

“Honey, I know you are angry at me but I promise you, I will make sure Brandon gets Married to you.

We just have to wait for the right time” Edward said but still, Isabella didn’t say a word.

“There’s a banquet party that will be held tomorrow by Mr Thomas, Brandon will be attending. You can come with me since I would be attending” Edward said and Isabella stood up.

“No, I’m fine, I won’t be attending,” she said and with that, she walked upstairs to her room. Edward sighed softly.

Meanwhile, the moment she got to her room, she brought out her phone and dialed her best friend’s number immediately.

“I’m attending a party tomorrow and Brandon will be there, I’m gonna need a sexy dress for the party, so text me where you are so I can come pick you up and we will go shopping,” she said and with that, she ended the call.

It was morning and a new day. Hannah had woken up early and helped the kids dress up for school, after which she dropped them off at school before going to the company.

Her car came to a stop in front of the company, she parked her car in the parking lot and was about to alight the car when she saw Brandon’s car drive in.

She quickly alighted the car and rushed inside the company as she didn’t want to go inside the company with Brandon.

Meanwhile, Brandon on the other hand had seen her rushing inside the company like she was avoiding him.

He quickly rushed out of his car, and strides toward her with his long legs.

Just as she was about to press the elevator bell, someone from behind her pressed it.

She raised her head and saw Brandon standing behind her. Her face flushed in embarrassment as she saw him.

She was trying to run from him but he still caught up to her, she thought as she stared at his long legs.

“Are you avoiding me?” Brandon asked as they entered the elevator.

“What? No, why would I avoid you?” She asked, trying to avoid his gaze.

“Maybe because of the kiss last night. You know if I hadn’t pulled away something else would have happened” he said while staring at the petite woman who was staring at the ground.

“What? No! Nothing would have happened, besides that wasn’t the first time we’ve kissed and nothing had happened before” Hannah said and Brandon raised his eyebrows and smirked.

Hannah bit her lips in embarrassment as she realized what she had said.

“Really? How about this?” He said as he moved towards her, about to kiss her when the elevator suddenly stopped and opened and there were lots of workers standing outside the elevator.

They all bent their heads and pretended not to see anything. Hannah’s cheeks flushed in embarrassment.
