She knows Liam and Brandon have a brother kind of relationship even if they are not related by blood. They were family and she knew how much Brandon cherished Liam, so now she wondered what happened between them.

“Justice will be served and Liam will go to jail for the crime he’s committed,” Brandon said with no expression on his face.

“Did he say the reason he did it?” Hannah asked

“It doesn’t matter what the reason is, I do not care to know. All that matters is that he stood beside me and watched the FBI take you away and all this time he was the real culprit, ” Brandon said angrily as he stood up and put on his suit jacket.

He picked up his phone from the table and was about to walk out of his office when he turned to Hannah.

“I kept to my promise, I found out who killed Rhoda, now it’s your turn to keep to your promise as well. I need to see my children, today” Brandon said in a commanding tone and Hannah sighed.

“Not today, you can’t see them today. We will fix another day” Hannah said and Brandon frowned.

“It’s not a request, Hannah. It’s a command, I need to see my children today” Brandon said and Hannah scoffed.

“Sorry, I don’t take orders or commands from you, you don’t get to command me, you are not my boss.

You’ll only see my children when I want you to. If you would please, excuse me” Hannah said and walked past Brandon.

Brandon closed his eyes and took a deep breath, he’s had enough on his plate today and this petite woman was trying to get on his nerves.

Meanwhile Hannah on the other hand had gotten to her office, she closed the door behind her and rested her back on the door.

She opened her mouth wide agape, still in shock at what she heard. Liam had killed Rhoda, she still couldn’t believe it.

Why would he do it? And he probably was the one that set her up and made it look like she killed Rhoda.

She moved away from the door and sat on her chair. She felt her heart break into pieces. She didn’t expect such from Liam.

She sighed softly, she was feeling this hurt, and she wondered how much hurt Brandon would be feeling now.

Meanwhile, Jessica’s car screeched to a halt in front of Mikealson’s mansion. Jessica alighted the car and smiled as she stared at the big mansion in front of her.

The mansion looked so big on the outside, almost the same size as theirs, but theirs was way much bigger. She walked towards the front door and planted a soft knock on the door.

The door opened revealing Jeff.

“Hey,” Jeff muttered as he saw Jessica. Jessica smiled and walked inside the house and they both hugged each other.

“It wasn’t difficult finding your home, it seems you are more popular than I thought,” Jessica said and Jeff laughed.

“Your house is beautiful,” Jessica said as she admired the interior design of the house.

“It’s gonna be yours too when we officially get married,” Jeff said and Jessica blushed.

“Come on, let’s go meet my mom. She’s at the dining” Jeff said and Jessica nodded in response trailing behind him.

Jessica immediately saw a woman who looked like she was in her 60s in the dining room. She immediately knew it was Jeff’s mom because their eyes looked the same.

“Hello ma’am ” Jessica smiled as she moved towards Rosa and kissed her on the cheeks. Rosa didn’t want to respond but Jeff gave her a killing look.

“Hi, you are Jessica, right? I have heard so much about you, you are so beautiful ” Rosa said as she managed to smile.

“Thank you, ma’am,” Jessica said as she felt her cheeks turn red. She felt welcomed with the way Rosa was complimenting her.

“Common, sit,” Jeff said as he pulled out a chair and beckoned for Jessica to sit, while Jeff sat beside her.

Suddenly, two maids came out from the kitchen and started dishing out the food.

“Your mom is so nice” Jessica whispered to Jeff who smiled. Rosa had heard what she said and rolled her eyes.

“So, Jessica, what do you do for a living?” Rosa asked as they ate.

“I’m an Author and also an entrepreneur. My brother asked me to come work at his company but I refused.

I just wanted to work on my own. I’m planning on opening my own company soon, a company that publishes books” Jessica said and Rosa hummed.

“Honey, you didn’t tell me you were an author!” Jeff said smiling

“You didn’t ask,” Jessica said in response.

“I’m so sorry, I promise I’ll support you in setting up your company,” Jeff said.

“Really?” Jessica asked and he nodded.

“I love you,” Jeff said and pecked her on her cheeks.

Rosa on the other hand felt so irritated. Her son looks like he is in love with this girl. She just couldn’t stand the both of them anymore, she stood up at once and went to her room upstairs.

Jessica wondered what was wrong.

“Excuse me, I’ll be back” Jeff stood up and went after his mom.

Jessica sighed softly and turned to the maid who was standing at the corner of the dining room.

“Please where is the restroom?”Jessica asked

“Upstairs, the fourth room by your left,” the maid said and Jessica stood up and went upstairs searching for the restroom when she suddenly heard noises coming from a room.

Rather the sound of both Jeff and his mom arguing. She decided to eavesdrop on their conversations.

“I can’t stand her. Seeing her makes me angry. For God’s sake, she’s a Colby” Rosa yelled

“Mom, please, do not ruin my chance to get what I want.

I finally have the chance to make Brandon and Hannah suffer. I have Jessica wrapped around my finger now and she thinks I love her, please do not ruin this opportunity for me” Jeff said and Jessica who was listening to their conversations felt her legs become weak instantly.

She felt the whole world came crashing down on her. She couldn’t believe what she had just heard.
