Brandon’s car screeched to a halt in front of his company. Brandon alighted the car and gave the key to his security to park the car in the parking lot.

He walked inside the company and went straight to his office. Immediately he entered his office, he dropped his phone and removed his suit jacket which he hung on his chair and then sat down.

He heard a knock on the door, the door opened and Brandon’s secretary walked in holding some files in his hands.

“I’ll send it for you when I’m done signing the papers,” Brandon said to his secretary who nodded in response and then walked out of the office.

He brought out his laptop which was inside the bag he brought.

He switched it on and then raised his head.

“I retrieved all Rhoda’s phone calls. Turns out she talked to a lot of people a few days before she died and Liam was part of the people he called” he paused as he played a video on his laptop and turned the screen towards Brandon.

“What’s this?” Brandon asked as he watched the video

“It’s CCTV footage that was retrieved from Rhoda’s house. It happens that the person on that footage was the last person to be seen in Rhoda’s house before Hannah came and found her dead” Micheal said and Brandon stared at Micheal for some minutes before zooming in the video.

“That car looks familiar, ” Brandon said

“That’s because it’s your Pa’s car,” Micheal said and Brandon paused.

“We were only able to get the CCTV footage from outside the compound and not the one from inside the house.

I guess the person who deleted it, forgot to wipe out the one from the outside” Micheal said and Brandon kept staring at the video.

He saw Liam’s car drive inside Rhoda’s compound and he alighted the car. He walked inside her house and came out a few minutes later with some files in his hands.

He then went back inside and when he came out again, he was in a rush.

Brandon closed the laptop and turned to Micheal.

“What are you implying with this?” Brandon asked

“Nothing, but from my investigation, I know Rhoda and Liam were childhood friends or rather childhood neighbors: and Liam was the last person to see Rhoda before she died, unless you want to say Hannah was the one who killed her.

“I signed the contract already, it’s official, we are partners with Holland’s group of the company,” Liam said as he dropped a copy of the contract on the table.

“Where were you on November 13, 8:56 AM?” Brandon asked and Liam stared at him confused.

“I was at your house and I went to the company from there. I arrived at the company at exactly 8;56 Am” Liam said and Brandon stared at him speechlessly.

“Brandon please I…..” his speech was cut off with another punch on his nose and he staggered backward.

“You murdered her and made it look like she did it.

You let me stand and watch the police take the mother of my kids away when it was supposed to be you!!! Bastard!” Brandon yelled and gave him another punch in his mouth.

This time, the whole company wondered what was happening in Brandon’s office.

Liam fell to the ground and Brandon started punching him non-stop, but just then the door burst open revealing Hannah.

“Brandon!” Hannah called and pushed him away from Liam. She then held Brandon.

“Can’t you see he’s bleeding? You are going to kill him” Hannah yelled.
