It was morning and Hannah had woken up feeling so tired. She and the kids had to put everything in order at their new house, so they slept late.

She stood up from the bed and walked inside the bathroom, brushed her teeth, and took her bath. She then went downstairs to prepare breakfast for the kids.

After she was done, she went upstairs to the kid’s room, luckily they were already awake. She helped them take their bath and get dressed for school.

They ate breakfast and she went to drop them off at school. After which she went back home and got dressed.

She was going to resume as the COO of Colby co, but the fact that she and Brandon are not on good terms doesn’t mean she should give up her position in the company. He stated in the contract that whatever is his, is also hers.

So far, he hasn’t signed the divorce paper yet, whatever he owns, was also hers, she thought as she got dressed. Besides, before he signs the divorce paper, she plans on making Brandon’s life hell.

She made sure she put on her most beautiful clothes and looked her best. She took her handbag and phone, then walked out of the house, hopped inside her car, and zoomed off.

Her car screeched to a halt in front of the company. She alighted the car and walked inside the company and of course, all eyes were on her, they couldn’t dare say a word right in front of her, she had planned on firing anyone that dared say an i’ll word about her.

She ignored their looks and entered the elevator then went to her office when she had gotten there she didn’t meet her assistant, Kate.

Just then Liam walked in.

“Hi, Mrs. Colby, I didn’t know you would be coming today,” Liam said

“You didn’t need to know if I would be coming, Liam. Anyways, you came just in time, where the hell is Kate?” Hannah asked

“Uhm, she no longer works here, Brandon asked me to fire her ” Liam said and Hannah sighed softly and nodded.

“And where the hell is Brandon?” Hannah asked

“He’s yet to arrive at the office,” Liam said and Hannah nodded in response.

She then decided to go wait for Brabdon at his office, it didn’t take long for Brandon to arrive at the company.

He walked inside his office and saw Hannah sitting on his chair.

At first, he was shocked to see her and his face softened the moment he saw her.

“What are you doing here?” He asked and Hannah raised her eyebrows

“Are You seriously asking me that? Or have you forgotten I’m the COO of this company? I’m back now to resume office” Hannah said and Brandon swallowed hard.

“I think……”

“I heard the rumor, Brandon and you gonna fix it, for your information I’m not stepping down, I am the COO of Colby co and no one’s gonna take that position from me,” Hannah said and stood up

“Now where the hell is my PA, Kate?” Hannah asked

“She no longer works here, I asked Liam to get rid of her, ” Brandon said and Hannah scoffed.

“You should have let me decide if she could work for me or not. She’s my PA, not yours, I fucking hired her and only I had the right to fire her” Hannah said angrily.

“She wasn’t worth being your PA, besides I just found out recently that she’s been in contact with someone telling her about your every move.

She was just a spy and nothing else” Brandon said. He had checked Rhoda’s phone after he took it from Liam and found out Kate had been sending messages about Hannah’s whereabouts to Rhoda.

He was glad he fired her before he found out, or else he was going to kill her.

“What are you talking about?” Hannah asked

“Nothing, you should go back to your office, I have work to do,” Brandon said and Hannah rolled her eyes at him.

She was wasn’t willing to exchange another word with him, the sight of him alone makes her angry, and the fact that she was the man who forced himself on her years ago, made her angrier.

She stood up and was about to leave when Brandon suddenly called her name, making her pause.

“Hannah” he called and swallowed into nothing and she paused but didn’t turn to him.

I thought he asked me to leave, why the hell is he calling my name?

“I’m sorry for everything, I’m sorry for the pain I caused. Please come home” Brandon said and Hannah turned around giving him the coldest look ever.

“Sorry cannot fix the damage you caused, I told you already, I want a divorce, ” Hannah said and Brandon’s gaze fell in disappointment. He became sad.

“Hannah please, what about the kids? Are you gonna separate me from them? I just found out they are my kids, please just give me a chance to be a father to them and make up for those years I wasn’t by their side” Brandon said and Hannah became dead silent, like she was in a deep thought.

“Fine, I’ll let you spend time with the kids but that doesn’t mean we are coming back together because it’s never going to happen, not even in your dream, ” Hannah said and Brandon felt his heart leap in joy. He was making progress.

Hannah allowing him to see the kids was a big win for him. If he could win the kids over, they would help him win Hannah, he thought.

“And don’t even dare think you can convince my kids to convince me into forgiving you because the moment I find out, I’m going to convince the board members to fire you from being the CEO,” Hannah said like she had read Brandon’s mind and Brandon on the other hand stared at Hannah in shock.

“Try me and see,” she said and with that she walked out of the office, leaving Brandon shocked.
