Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

Donna prowled towards him with a wicked grin. He stretched out his arms, ready to catch her.

“Magnificent Alpha! I thought you had abandoned me for that other woman,” Donna purred, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

Alpha Kilian chuckled, his eyes filled with warmth. “Why would I ever leave when you’re here, Donna? Not even the strongest horses could pull me away.”

Donna’s smile widened, filled with adoration.

‘Father is truly remarkable! How did I end up with such an extraordinary man as my father?’ Donaa thought internally.

Nelly observed them quietly.

The young girl grows bolder in her affections towards Alpha Kilian.

She felt no envy, nor did she wish to quell Donna’s admiration for him. But there were certain lessons she needed to impart to her.

Back at the hospital, Lara returned to her room, her spirit in turmoil.

She never anticipated that Alpha Kilian would discover her secret.

She had contemplated it extensively before resorting to the drug. All she desired was to become his mate.

Yet, to her surprise, Alpha Kilian resisted and became privy to all her actions.

In an instant, she felt as though her image in his eyes had been shattered.

What should I do? How can I rectify this? Panic seized her as she dwelled on her mistakes.

But then again, Nelly is already a mother. If Alpha Kilian can accept that, why can’t he accept me?

All she did was love him. She was willing to do anything for him. What was wrong with that?

Yes! That’s it. Lara consoled herself.

They shared a long history. Surely, Alpha Kilian would forgive her.

Taking a deep breath, Lara dialed Alpha King Larry’s number, determined to inform him about Nelly’s child. If he disapproved of her, her task would be much easier.

Alpha King Larry’s mansion was still besieged by construction noises.

“Make sure you follow the blueprint exactly!”

“Don’t worry, Alpha King Larry.”

“Do you think we should add a little more here? It looks too plain.”

Dan approached, holding Alpha King Larry’s phone. “Alpha King Larry, you have a call.”

Alpha King Larry glanced at the device nonchalantly, making no move to answer. “Who is it?”

“She introduced herself as Ms. Gareth.”

Alpha King Larry furrowed his brow. “Gareth?”

Passing the blueprint to a worker, he finally decided to pick up the call.

“Hello. Who is this?”

“Alpha King Larry, it’s me, Lara. I’m Alpha Kilian’s assistant,” Lara introduced herself.

Alpha King Larry pondered for a moment before nodding. “I remember you. What can I do for you?”

“Well, I actually have something important to discuss regarding Alpha Kilian. Are you available? I prefer to do it face to face,” Lara persisted.

Alpha King Larry frowned. “Fine, where should we meet?”

“No need. I’ll come to you.”

“I thought you were hospitalized,” Alpha King Larry remarked.

“It’s alright, I’ve been discharged.”

Alpha King Larry considered for a moment. He hadn’t seen his great-grandchildren since yesterday, so he had planned to visit anyways. “No, it’s fine. I have to stop by the hospital anyway, we can meet at the nearby cafe.”

Lara misinterpreted his decision, assuming it was out of concern for her. She quickly replied, “Alright, thank you for going out of your way.”

Alpha King Larry grunted before ending the call.

Only then did Lara wonder how Alpha King Larry even knew about her hospitalization.

Did Alpha Kilian inform him?

Hmm, it seems my efforts to ingratiate myself with Alpha King Larry are paying off. He must have a favorable impression of me by now.

Lara knew she needed to impress him even more.

Her plan heavily relied on Alpha King Larry.

Alpha King Larry went upstairs to change before returning downstairs. Dan asked, “Are you going out, Alpha King Larry?”

Alpha King Larry grinned. “I have something to attend to, but I’ll be back soon.”

“Look at that smile. Are you going to see Mr. Ben and Ms. Donna?” Dan chuckled.

Alpha King Larry’s grin widened. “I can’t believe how much I miss them after just one day. I want to visit them briefly, I’ll be back in no time.” He glanced at Dan. “No need to accompany me, stay here and keep an eye on the construction. Don’t deviate from the blueprint.”

Dan smiled. “Of course, everything will be taken care of.”

Finally at ease, Alpha King Larry confidently strode out the door.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

Lara freshened up and reached the cafe early, standing up abruptly upon Alpha King Larry’s arrival. “Greetings, Alpha King Larry!”

Alpha King Larry merely glanced at her before taking his seat.

“Do you want to order something?” Lara asked.

“No, I’m fine. Just tell me what you need to say,” Alpha King Larry replied.

Lara hesitated but called the waiter over to order a simple cup of tea for Alpha King Larry. “I know you have a heart condition, so tea is better than coffee.”

Alpha King Larry remained silent and observed her.

Mistaking his lack of response for approval, Lara continued, “Ms. Gareth, there is something I must discuss with you regarding Alpha Kilian. I can no longer bear to see him kept in the dark.”

“In the dark?” Alpha King Larry furrowed his brow. “Who would dare keep him in the dark?”

“It’s about Nelly,” Lara said.

He paused. “Nelly?”

“Yes. She was once married to Alpha Kilian, but there’s something you may not know about her,” Lara said gravely.

Alpha King Larry already had an inkling of what she would say next, yet he listened attentively, refusing to intervene.

“What is it exactly?”

Lara hesitated, carefully crafting an atmosphere of apprehension and hesitance. She wanted him to believe that she was speaking out of kindness, while unsure of meddling in their affairs.

“Do you know she has a daughter?” Lara inquired.

Alpha King Larry frowned, keeping a keen eye on the woman before him. He already anticipated her next words.

Nevertheless, he stayed silent, allowing her to continue without interruption.
