You Complete Me novel (Skylar and Coralie)

Chapter 284

Chapter 284

Jayson sent Coralie to her neighbourhood.

When Coralie got out of the car, Jayson took out an envelope and handed it to Coralie.

"What's this?" she asked.

"A bank card. In the future, the pension for each year will be transferred to this card," he said plainly.

Hearing this, Coralie recoiled her hand from the envelope and said, "Ask Skylar himself to give it to

me."

After that, she turned around and was about to leave.

However, Jayson's calm voice resounded behind her. "Miss Chariott, President Holland can't possibly

come to give it to you in person."

"Then I don't want it."

She didn't care about the bank card or the two million dollars. Although she didn't have money, she had

the ability to make money.

"Miss Chariott, please don't make things difficult for me. If you don't accept this card, President Holland

will definitely blame me."

Jayson's words made Coralie realize something. She turned around and looked at Jayson behind her.

After looking at him for a while, she said, "He's afraid that I would pester him if I don't take it, right?"

Jayson fell silent.

Coralie knew that he must be hiding something, but she still said, "Then please tell Skylar that unless

he shows up and lets me know of the reason, I will hound him for the rest of my life."

Jayson was listening.

"And." Coralie didn't allow any room for Jayson to speak but continued, "I won't mind if he is injured,

disabled, blind. I'm willing to take care of him. If he asks me to give up because of these reasons,

please tell him what I said. Thank you."

Coralie bowed to Jayson.

She left and went upstairs.

Coralie knew that it was impossible for Skylar to disappear without a reason, and it was even more

impossible for him to abandon her without an explanation!

He had done so many things for her, but she had not caught up to him.

Coralie took Hendric to the elevator.

Jayson, who was behind him, was stupefied for a long time.

He went back to the car and stayed unmoving for a while before he dialed a number.

When the phone was picked up, the man on the other end of the phone asked, "Is everything done?

Did you give it to her?"

It was Skylar's voice.

His voice was slightly more hoarse than before.

"Yes, but Miss Chariott didn't take the card."

Jayson said.

Hearing Jayson's words, Skylar was silent for a while before he said helplessly, "Forget it, that's her

personality."

"President Holland, are you really not going to meet Miss Chariott?"

On the other side of the phone, Jayson hesitated for a moment before asking. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

Skylar fell silent for a while again. He seemed to be thinking and struggling, but in the end, he spat out

the word "No."

"President Holland," Jayson tried to let Skylar rethink the decision.

"What's wrong? What's wrong with you today?"

Skylar knew that in the past, Jayson would be straightforward with his words and zip his lips when he

had nothing to say. He knew what he should say and what he shouldn't, but he was hesitating today.

Jayson had wanted to say something for several times but he always stopped on a second thought.

"Miss Chariott has a message for you," Jayson finally blurted it.

"What?" Skylar asked.

"Miss Chariott said that if you don't tell her the real reason, she will hound you for the rest of her life."

Hearing this, Skylar chuckled on the phone and replied, "Her? How is she going to do that? Without my

permission, she can't even enter Skyton Corporation's door, not to mention hearing any of my news."

Jayson knew that this was what Skylar planned to do from the beginning.

Coralie had left the Holland family, and no one knew if Yohan was still alive. Coralie was just an

ordinary person for now. Although she was Houston Zac's daughter, he would not help her.

She had no means to get any news about Skylar.

"There is still another message from Miss Chariott." Jayson thought for a long time and decided to tell

Skylar, "She said that she doesn't mind if you're injured, disabled, or blind. She is willing to take care of

you."

As the sentence ended, Skylar took a deep breath.

The silence lasted for a long time.

Jayson had been Skylar's assistant for a long time. He knew how deep his love for Coralie was, and he

knew how painful it was for him to come to such a decision.

"I know."

After saying it, Skylar hung up the phone.

Jayson did not call back but got out of the car and put the envelope with the bank card into Coralie's

house mailbox before leaving.

......

Coralie took Hendric upstairs.

She clearly knew that if Skylar had indeed given up on her because of his body's condition, and if

Jayson relayed her words to Skylar, he would think about it.

"Mom, doesn't Dad want us anymore?"

Hendric hugged Coralie's neck and asked.

"No, Dad still want us." Coralie touched Hendric's tiny head and asked him, "Was it Dad who

accompanied you this year?"

"Yes, Dad was always with me when I went to see the doctor. When I was cured, he took me with him

wherever he went, every day."

Hendric nodded and replied.

Perhaps because Hendric had met more people in his life, Coralie found that he spoke more and his

pronunciation was clearer since she last saw him.

Skylar did take good care of him.

"Well, Dad is busy recently. He will be back in a while."

Coralie comforted Hendric.

The elevator arrived upstairs.

Coralie took Hendric out of the elevator and knocked on the door.

It was Hera who opened the door. When she stood there and saw Coralie holding Hendric, her eyes

suddenly welled up as she called out, "My Coralie!"

Hera hugged Coralie with tears streaming down her face.

"Mom, this is your grandson. It's your first time seeing him."

Coralie introduced Hendric to Hera Jean.

Hendric was well-behaved. When he heard what Coralie said, he was the first to greet, "Hello,

grandma."

Hera didn't expect that she got herself a grandson!

"Hi!"

Hera kept nodding her head.

Coralie put Hendric down. Hendric stood at the door and asked, "Can I change my shoes?"

Only then did Coralie realize that there were no children's products in her home.

Hendric only had the set of clothes on his body now.

"I'll bring you out to buy some new clothes later, okay? Could you please make do with what you have

right now?" Coralie said.

"Okay."

Hendric nodded obediently and replied.

Then he took off his coat and put it on the cabinet beside him. He asked, "Can I go to the bathroom to

wash my hands? Dad said that I have to wash my hands first when I arrive home."

Coralie was stunned.

Skylar had really done a good job in teaching Hendric.

"Okay, I'll take you there."

Coralie said. She took Hendric to the bathroom's sink and held him in her arms. Hendric reached out

his hand and washed them. He squeezed the liquid soap on his hands and began to rub his hands

seriously.

After washing his hands, he returned to the living room. Coralie looked at Hendric and asked, "These

are what Dad has taught you?"

"Uh huh." Hendric nodded. "Dad told me I'm a man, so I have to do my own things."

It was beyond Coralie's imagination, the aloof Skylar teaching Hendric well and so solicitously at that.

It was already evening when they arrived home. Coralie asked Hendric to rest for a while before she

brought him to go buy some daily necessities. They would try to come back before dinner.

"Knock, knock, knock."

Coralie and Hendric were about to go out when someone knocked on the door.

She opened the door and saw three men with three huge suitcases in their hands. One of them said,

"Miss Chariott, President Holland asked us to bring Young Master's things here."
