You Complete Me novel (Skylar and Coralie)

Chapter 277

Chapter 277

If it was anybody else, they would be excited, wouldn't they?

However, Coralie did not feel happy at all, instead, she felt sad. This would be her third marriage, but

her first wedding ceremony.

The wedding was so beautiful. All the waiters were coordinated and wore medieval-style clothing. The

waitresses who wore tutu dresses were especially charming.

"Please come this way."

A waitress guided Coralie.

Taking in the fresh air, Coralie could finally balance on her feet a little better. She took a step and

walked along the red carpet, accompanied by the waitress.

Pink balloons were hanging from all the tall coconut trees. The decorations at the wedding were like a

passage leading to happiness.

"Madam, you're so blessed."

The waitress beside her said while looking at her enviously.

Coralie did not respond. She was no longer in her twenties and had long moved past the age of longing

for a romantic love story.

Her marriage to Howard made it clear to her that the foundation of marriage wasn't superficial

romance. Most importantly, you needed the right match.

Meeting the right person was the most essential element to a marriage.

"Madam, you have to walk by yourself later. Do you want to have a rest here?"

The waitress reminded Coralie.

After all, it was the last segment of the red carpet. She couldn't ask the waitress to keep holding on to

her.

"Ok, I'll take a break for a short while," Coralie replied.

She squatted on the ground.

She wasn't really intending to rest but hoped that the time would stop. She wanted to arrive at the red

carpet and marry Yohan at a much later time.

Her mind was occupied with Skylar at this moment. She even hoped that Skylar would appear out of

nowhere and save her...

These wild thoughts keep lingering in Coralie's mind.

She rested for about five minutes, and the waitress next to her kindly asked, "Are you feeling better,

Madam?"

"I'll wait a little longer," Coralie responded.

"Young Master Leo would be waiting in worry..."

The waitress kindly reminded her.

Coralie was overwhelmed with sorrow, realizing that the person at the end of the red carpet would be

Yohan.

It was a piece of cake for him to help Skyton Corporation, but she had to sacrifice herself, even

dragging Skylar's life into the matter.

At this point, she had to marry this person who had indirectly harmed Skylar...

"I'm not going to marry him."

Coralie whispered and turned around. She wanted to leave but she felt dizzy as soon as she got up.

This dizziness acted as a wake-up call for her. She would definitely be dead if she left now.

"Madam, what's wrong? Are you able to walk now?" The waitress asked.

The waitress didn't hear what she said. She saw Coralie stand up and thought that she was planning to

continue to walk.

"Ok, let's go," Coralie replied.

She was helpless as she knew that she couldn't run away at all. The side effect of the concussion was

too serious.

Once again, she was supported by the waitress and stopped in front of the flower arch.

She looked up and saw Yohan standing at the end of the red carpet, standing straight, dressed in a

pure-white suit. He looked handsome and the wound from the day before was well hidden. His hair was

neatly combed and his eyes were full of happiness. The sun's rays shining on him were as if a gold rim

had been embedded into him.

He was just like a prince in fairy tales.

"Skylar..."

Coralie looked at Yohan and was a little confused. She murmured a different name.

"Madam, Young Master Leo is waiting for you."

The waitress reminded her.

"Ah, ok." Coralie snapped out of her imagination.

She just realized where she was and what she was doing.

The waitress took her hands off and signalled for Coralie to walk there by herself.

Coralie took one step at a time and walked towards the end of the red carpet, towards Yohan.

There was no one else in this wedding except for her, Yohan, and the waitresses.

The priest stood behind the podium, waiting for them.

"Corrie," Yohan called out.

He extended his hand and waited for her.

His smile was as bright and charming, like when he was a child. It seemed that at this time, all his

sinister tendencies had faded away and he was left with only a pure and upright soul, like how he was

in the past.

Coralie took one step at a time and walked towards Yohan. Every step she took was so heavy and

difficult for her.

However, the red carpet was too short. She still reached Yohan's side and stood in front of him.

"Corrie, you are so beautiful."

Yohan looked at her with a smile.

Coralie didn't answer. She was struggling with every passing second. In addition to the physical

discomfort and the distress, this was the first time that she felt herself resisting marrying Yohan so

badly.

The priest began to officiate the wedding. Although there was no one there, he followed the rundown of

a typical wedding, from announcing the start of the wedding ceremony to the introduction, until the final

and most important part...

"Mr. Yohan, are you willing to marry Ms. Coralie? To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better

or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?" The priest asked.

He had asked the priest to address him as Yohan and not Leonardo.

This was his special intention and Coralie knew it.

After the priest asked that, Yohan answered without hesitation, "Yes, I do!"

Then, the priest asked Coralie, "Miss Coralie, are you willing to marry Mr. Yohan? To have and to hold,

from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death

do you part?"

Coralie hesitated for a moment after the priest finished his sentence. She followed her heart and called

out her true answer.

"No, I don't!"

"She doesn't want to!"

Another voice rang with Coralie's answer.

When she heard the voice, her heart almost stopped beating. Was her fantasy about to come true?

Coralie turned around with surprise.

She saw a group of people coming from behind, along with a group of bodyguards.

She was desperately looking for Skylar in the crowd. Actually, she could tell that the voice wasn't

Skylar's, but she didn't want to give up hope. She was wondering if Skylar's voice had changed

because he had caught a cold.

The priest was embarrassed at this moment. He had been doing this for so many years and this was

his first encounter of such a situation.

However, when Coralie saw Jayson standing in the crowd, she knew the source of the voice.

"What's happening?" Yohan raised his eyebrows and asked.

He grabbed Coralie's arm and held her tightly next to him.

"Mr. Leonardo, our Young Master said that you lost the match a year ago because of cheating. He has

come to take Coralie back," Jayson replied.

"Cheating? Do you have any evidence of that?" Yohan questioned. Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

He was obviously angry at this moment. He thought that Skylar had been staying still for the whole year

and was only focusing on treating Hendric's illness, therefore he had let his guard down.

Unexpectedly...

"Skylar, Skylar..." Coralie called out.

When she heard Jayson mention Skylar, her eyes kept looking for him in the crowd, but she still

couldn't find him.

"Evidence? You guys tell him," Jayson walked to the front while speaking.

He signalled a few bodyguards to get some people out from the crowd.

At one glance, these people were obviously from S Country.

Yohan's expression changed after seeing them.

"It was Young Master Leo's men who asked us to bury something underground so that the bullets

would slightly deviate its course because of the force of attraction."

One of them was frightened and he hurriedly spoke up.

Coralie noticed that the man seemed to not be injured on the surface. However, his hands were already

torn and tattered as if he had been abused.
