You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 939 Further Development

A chill ran down Luna’s chest, instinctively causing her to shrink back.

But how could a woman’s strength compare to that of a man in a rage?

Orion pinned her down on the bed.

At first, Luna struggled, but soon she gave up resisting, allowing Orion to take what he wanted!

Numbly, she stared at the ceiling!

Closing her eyes, all she could see in her mind was herself being…

She felt fear, gritting her teeth.

The sheet beneath her was close to being torn by her grip!

Her body trembled involuntarily!

She endured it, trying to stay calm, telling herself that the man before her was the father of her child, the man she once deeply loved.

Not one of those who mistreated her!

Orion tried hard.

But no matter how hard he tried, Luna refused to respond to him.

His heart grew colder bit by bit.

He stopped his movements.

“Do I mean nothing to you?” he asked.

Luna lifted her eyelids, “Aren’t you disgusted?”

“No,” Orion replied.

Luna smirked mockingly, “It seems you’ve never seen a woman before. Even a damaged woman like me, you can still find attractive. You’re truly an embarrassment to men.”

Orion pursed his lips, his mouth still holding her taste.

It was fragrant, it was sweet.

It was what he liked.

What he was losing himself in.

“Luna, say what you will, my feelings for you won’t change.” Orion covered her with the sheet, “Get some rest, think about our relationship, where it should go from here. I’ve made my feelings clear, you need to put aside your worthless pride.”

After speaking, he got up, picked up the clothes he had thrown on the floor.

Luna called out to him, “When are you going to bring back Star?”

“I don’t know,” Orion replied.

“Bring her back,” Luna insisted.

Orion turned to look at Luna.

Suddenly, he realized his foolishness.

The one thing he could use to control Luna was Star, wasn’t it?

As long as he had Star, Luna wouldn’t leave.

“Do you want to see Star?” Orion asked, “I don’t plan on bringing her back.”

“Alf Hicks is a man, he won’t take care of a baby, especially one as young as Star.”

“I’ll just arrange for a nanny, there are plenty of them besides you. I can easily find a better one.” Orion inquired, “Do you still care about your daughter?”

Luna said hoarsely, “Do we have to do it this way?”

Orion retorted, “Besides me, do you have another man in your life? You’re still young, I’m still young. I missed my chance before, but now there’s no barrier between us. I just want to start over with you, is that so difficult?”

“No, Orion. The love between us is gone. After I left, after I married Tyler, after I was willing to sacrifice my life to avenge him, that’s when we became impossible. Your persistence isn’t about loving me, maybe it’s because you never truly had me, that’s why you’re so determined.”

“Don’t distort my feelings like that,” Orion snapped in a low voice.

He didn’t like seeing Luna in such a dejected state.

Luna laughed, “Isn’t it true?”

“No!” Orion firmly denied.

“Are you sure?” Luna lifted the blanket, revealing her body. She walked up to Orion bare-chested.

She took his hand and pressed it against her thigh, guiding his touch.

There were circular scars on her thigh.

“These were made by them tying me to the bed and burning me with a cigarette, one by one.”

“I can only imagine how much pain you were in…”

“No, I didn’t feel anything.”

She had lost all sensation at that point.

“Here.” She took Orion’s hand and moved it to her front.

“I’ve been kissed and bitten.”

Orion’s eyes turned slightly red, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down.

“Every scar on my body constantly reminds me of what happened. I can’t forget them; they will haunt me for the rest of my life. Do you really want to be tormented by this kind of pain? Every time you’re intimate with me, you’ll see these marks on my body. Do they not bother you even a little? Do you not have any reservations at all? Orion, don’t deceive yourself; you’re just a mortal. Don’t delude yourself into thinking you’re a god.”

“Did I show disgust towards you just now?” Orion inquired.

Luna hesitated for a moment, “Your desire clouded your judgment.”

“Fine, let’s say it was desire. I desire you, I just want to possess you, is that not allowed?” He gripped Luna’s chin, “If you won’t talk about love with me, then we won’t. We’ll only discuss desire.”

Luna closed her eyes, “Okay.”

She had made herself perfectly clear.

But he refused to give up.

She had no other choice.

Perhaps, in time, he would grow tired of her and see his true feelings.

“I agree. Bring Star back,” she finally said.

Turning around, she picked up the torn clothes on the floor. Unable to wear them, she wrapped herself in the sheet from the bed.

Orion was simply incredulous, unable to believe it.

Her agreement came too suddenly, catching Orion off guard.

“It’s settled,” he said with a slight tremor in his voice.

It was evident that he was genuinely excited.

Luna said, “I want to see Star.”

“I’ll bring Star back in a little while.”

Orion watched her, “Rest up.”

Luna sat on the edge of the bed without a word.

She seemed surprised by his concern, but didn’t respond.

Orion didn’t care about her reaction.

She had agreed, which meant that their relationship could progress further.

Which was a good thing.

Luna had no intention of sleeping.

She lay curled up in bed but eventually dozed off.

It was when Orion brought Star back that she was awakened by the commotion.

Orion saw her scrambling to put on her clothes and said, “Take your time getting dressed, don’t rush. Once Star is back, she won’t leave your side. She’ll always be with you.”

Luna didn’t speak.

Quietly, she finished dressing and tidied up the room.

Her clothes were missing.

Once everything was in order, she washed her hands before cautiously picking up her daughter from Orion’s arms.

Star blinked her eyes.

Her gaze was innocent and bewildered.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

Luna looked at her, a smile forming on her face.

This was her precious little heart.

She stroked her daughter’s cheek, asking, “Do you miss mommy?”

Star couldn’t respond, but she reached out her small hand, grasping Luna’s hair.

Orion pried the little girl’s hand off, “You’ll hurt mommy if you pull too hard.”

Star didn’t understand, or maybe she didn’t mind. She continued grasping at Luna’s hair repeatedly.

She tugged at Orion and tugged at Orion.

After a few rounds, Star pouted, as if on the verge of crying.

Orion took the girl from Luna’s arms, “If you’re this naughty, you’ll get a spanking.”

Luna said, “She’s still young, she doesn’t understand.”

“Even if she doesn’t understand, she can’t pull hair. She might pull it all out and leave you with a bald spot,” Orion teased.
