You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 935 A Bad Idea

Freya made scrambled eggs with tomatoes and mixed them with noodles.

She also added some sausages and purposely ate in front of Elijah.

She couldn’t believe Elijah wasn’t hungry.

It was getting light outside.

“It smells really good,” Freya said as she ate.

She smiled with squinted eyes, “Do you want to try some?”

She picked at the noodles.

Elijah just watched.

Freya found it dull, “You’re no fun.”

Elijah furrowed his brow, “Alright, I’m going to sleep for a bit.”

Seeing that he was really not hungry, Freya gave up.

“You go sleep, I’ll take a nap after finishing eating.”

While it was getting light here, it was dark on the other side.

Orion still hadn’t come back all day.

Luna was worried about him, wondering if he was deliberately not coming back because of her.

But she couldn’t call to ask.

If she did, Orion might think she still had feelings for him, leading to other thoughts and not being able to let go completely.

She didn’t want to delay Orion.

She wanted him to give up completely so he could start anew.

The stars were very restless today, refusing to sleep, and no amount of soothing worked, and she wasn’t uncomfortable anywhere.

Luna was anxious but helpless!

She kept pacing while the stars kept crying.

Just when Luna couldn’t bear it anymore, Orion came back.

He took the crying star and looked at his daughter’s flushed face, feeling heartbroken, “What’s wrong, my baby?”

The crying star miraculously stopped crying when she saw Orion.ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .

Like a wind-up doll that had run out of energy, she stopped immediately.

Luna stood by in astonishment.

It was simply unbelievable.

Was the star being restless because she missed Orion?

Why else would she stop crying as soon as she saw him?

Luna sighed, her daughter was closer to her dad.

She felt a mix of disappointment and comfort.

Disappointed that her daughter depended more on Orion than on her.

Comforted that her daughter had such a good dad, and she wouldn’t have to worry about her in the future.

She took a deep breath and turned to go into the room.

Orion glanced at her.

Her lonely back looked fragile.

It exuded loneliness, evoking a protective impulse.

Orion pursed his lips bitterly, fearing he might not have a chance.

He recollected his thoughts and focused on comforting the star.

The tired star gradually fell asleep in Orion’s arms.

He carefully wiped the sweat from her forehead.

Looking at his daughter’s delicate smiling face, a warmth spread across his face.

This little darling was really likable!

Just this one likable little darling, she was his daughter.

He might not have it all, but he had a daughter.

Though he couldn’t have the love of his life, having a child with the one he loved was also a blessing.

He carried the sleeping star into the room.

He gingerly placed her down.

Covering her with a small blanket and seeing no signs of her waking up, Orion exited the room and closed the door.

He walked into the living room.

Luna stood at the kitchen door, “Have you had dinner? If not, I’ll make some for you.”

Orion looked at her.

Luna lowered her head uneasily.

Orion asked, “Are you concerned about me?”

Luna said, “I’m paid to do a job, and I’ve taken your money, so naturally I will do my best for my employer.”

Her distant and distancing demeanor pierced Orion’s eyes.

He scoffed, “So you’re a competent nanny, not only taking good care of my daughter but also caring for me. According to what you said, should I give you a raise? To compensate for your hard work?”

Faced with his sarcastic remarks, Luna remained unfazed.

Calmly, she said, “If Mr. Russo is willing to pay more, why not.”

Orion failed to provoke her and ended up in frustration.

Buzz buzz –

Orion’s phone in his pocket suddenly rang. Taking it out and seeing it was Elijah’s number, he went to the room, closed the door, and answered the call.

“Hello…”

“It’s me,” came Xander’s voice from the other end.

Orion thought he must have been mistaken.

He glanced at the incoming call again, and it was indeed Elijah’s number, so why did the voice sound different?

He put the phone back to his ear, “Hello?”

“What, can’t you recognize my voice?” Xander asked.

Orion could indeed recognize it.

“Isn’t this Elijah’s number?” he asked.

Xander said, “Mr. Silverton and Evan were discussing something about you, and I overheard it. I thought of a good solution, so I called you using Mr. Silverton’s phone since mine was dead.”

Orion understood, “I see. But do you know my troubles? Do you have advice for me?”

Xander retorted coldly, “Are your affairs still a secret?”

Orion was speechless, how come everyone knew about his affairs?

But he didn’t have time to worry about that now.

He was curious about Xander’s advice.

If it was good advice, what did it matter if everyone knew?

“If you have a good idea, I will be very grateful.”

“Just grateful?” Xander asked, “You’re quite stingy.”

Orion repeatedly said, “Okay, okay, okay. If you can help me reconcile with Luna, I will give you whatever you want, as long as I can give it.”

“Alright,” Xander agreed immediately, “If she still loves you and has feelings for you, show affection in front of her with another woman, she will definitely get jealous. If she gets jealous, it means she hasn’t moved on from you.”

Orion pondered, “What kind of idea is this? And I’ve already tried that. Almost ended up hurting the star.”

“You scoundrel,” Orion snapped in anger, “Don’t make a joke out of my situation.”

Xander replied, “I’m not joking.”

“This is a bad idea, and I’ve tried it before, and it didn’t work,” Orion said flatly.

“If she doesn’t get jealous seeing you with another woman, it just means she doesn’t have feelings for you anymore. I suggest you give up,” Xander’s words were like pouring oil on fire!

Orion’s anger flared, “Get lost!”

Was he here to comfort him or to stab his heart?

His days were already difficult enough, and here comes someone to make it worse.

“Stop joking with my situation,” Orion spoke in a serious tone.

Xander, realizing Orion was truly upset, stopped joking, “Don’t be angry, I was joking.”

Orion didn’t have time for him, “Alright, hang up quickly, don’t bother me.”

“Hey hey. Wait…” Xander called him.

Orion, impatient, “What is it? Do you have another bad idea?”

Xander insisted, “No, I’m apologizing to you.”

“I have another idea, do you want to hear it?”

Orion had lost hope, “What idea? It’s not another bad idea, is it? I’m telling you, if you’re fooling me again, don’t blame me for losing my temper.”

“No, how could I still be making jokes…”

“Stop babbling and get to the point!” Orion interrupted.
