WHAT BILLIONAIRES TASTE LIKE

Chapter 96 Revenge loomed on

The joy that hung on Ziu’s chin knew no bounds and in the days ahead he became so much expectant from life that he mentioned pregnant Opula at the slightest opportunity. Opula suddenly became the only name on his tongue. Everyday he made sure she lacked nothing. He had never been so fulfilled than now and often than not he would hold her hands, rub on the baby bumb, place his ears on it, to know if the baby was kicking.

The other night, he had mentioned to her that he was going to walk her down the aisle in few weeks, promising to make their wedding the best and most expensive Kowloon had ever experienced. The joy in his life was so contagious that even Ziu Tech empire experienced an overshoot in business in the coming days. Investors and clients had come from the blues to run multi-billion business with Ziu Tech.

Whenever Ziu Lee woke up next to Opula and saw her baby bump he often thought about names he could give his unborn child. Severally he had mentioned to Opula about too many names that were most suited for a male child, such names always crept into his mind whenever he recalled how he fell in love with her and the circumstances surrounding it.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

In one of those days he had mentioned to Opula , “Ziu Junior is not a bad name after all.”

Ziu Junior?” she had queried with her dark looks that emphatically showed disapproval. Shaking her head, she had said, “What inspires that name? You must have a reason for naming your son after you,” she stood staring into his energetic, joyous eyes for explanation.

“His father is a great man, one of the iconic names that controls the world economy today. It would be my pleasure to watch before my very eyes another great and powerful Ziu emerge and take over the world economy and technology market once I am gone,” he muttered amidst grateful smiles.

Opula had rubbed her bump while she intoned, “I don’t buy the idea. I would rather we go for a simple name.”

“A simple name?” Ziu had inquired, “Nothing under the sun is simple and my son is just not going to be simple. He is his father, a man full of audacity and prowess. I dedicated twenty five years of my life building this name Ziu Lee and today all over the world wherever I am being mentioned I court honor and integrity. So baby tell me why we should go for a simple name?”

In few days all of that would come to an end; she had said in her mind.

That we are gioing for simple name doenst make our son simple. I mean years ago when you were born and named Ziu did you see yourself amounting to agreat man? If you hadn’t worked hard that name ziu would have ben one of the one million meaningless names out there.”

“Ok,” Ziu had responded in a considerate tone, “What would my gorgeous wife prefer we call this great man in her womb,”

Opula said, “There is this name I love so much and over the years I have thought about my son bearing such name.”

Impatiently Ziu squeezed his face at her to mention it. At the time he was pouring a cup of coffee for himself so when Opula mentioned, “The name is Ruby.” He almost spilled his coffee.

“Ruby? Did you just mention Ruby?” he retorted.

She affirmed with the shaking of her head.

“Why Ruby of all names,” he nagged in a tone that showed no interest to continue the conversation, “Well I know of a billionaire friend that goes by that name Ruby. He is a shareholder in my empire a very good friend of mine,” he recounted, sipped his coffee and saw the malicious look on her face. He wouldn’t want to get her walked up.

He appeared by her side, and stroked her hair.

Opula breathed hard, rolling her eyes at him and wanted to lie back in bed when he held by the arm. “I know you are already walked up. I don’t want anything to rattle your cage. Our baby in your womb deserves the best.” He paused, and gazed upon her with pity, “OK, fine we will take Ruby.”

Opula winked as smiles caved into her face, before she hugged him.

“Now you just have to dress up for work,” Ziu said and gulped his coffee before a huge grin came on his face, “A surprise awaits you in the office.”

“A surprise?” she asked, and shot an inquisitive stare at him locked eyes with him to see if she could guess what surprise it was. “What surprise?” she asked yet further as he uncoiled his hand from her and started making to the door.

He got to the door and replied, “Until you get to the office, my angel’s poop.” He blew her a kiss and walked away.

Hastily she made into the bathroom to run her bath.

When she got to the office complex, she almost ignored the staffers that greeted her, even while in the elevator she wished she could waive the magic wand and appear on the floor to her office.

Finally she got on her floor. Once the elevator opened she never knew she could hasten up like a skate boarder, even while in high heels. She barged into her office and the tranquility of the spacious executive office welcomed her before she paused at the door, glared around and caught sight of a bottle of red Spanish wine and a white envelope on her table. She smiled at the red wine and then a smart glare at the white envelope.

Hastily she opened the envelope, brought out what was inside and it was a letter of promotion. Ziu had promoted her to the office of the assistant CEO of Ziu Tech conglomerate…
