Under the Heiress' Facade

Chapter 636

Chapter 636

The angles of the photos were cunningly taken. Priscilla, upon seeing the photos of Augustus and Catherine holding hands and embracing intimately, was so furious that she threw her phone across the room.

"Catherine, you sly witch! I can't believe you're still seducing men at your age!" Priscilla cursed.

And Augustus clearly still had feelings for Catherine! No wonder he wanted a divorce as soon as he came back. He just wanted to rekindle things with Catherine! She wouldn't let them succeed!

Priscilla swore she wouldn't let Catherine have the upper hand.

But that wasn't even what angered her the most.

"Grandma, bad news! You need to talk to Grandpa. He's planning to give that plot of land near Jedburgh's suburbs to Youngworth Miracle Clinic," Marcus said as he rushed in.

"What!" Priscilla jerked up. "Do you have proof?"

"I just heard from the lawyer. This morning, Grandpa asked the lawyer to draft a contract to transfer the land. He should be at the clinic now." Marcus pulled out his phone and showed her the digital version of the contract sent by the lawyer.

Priscilla scanned the contract. Her expression darkened as she saw that the land and its development rights were being given away for free. Her chest heaved with anger.

She hadn't even agreed to the divorce yet, and Augustus was already eager to give away the family's assets. "Grandma, come with me to Youngworth Miracle Clinic to stop them from signing the contract," Marcus urged.

He couldn't let the Chime family's assets be given away, especially to Hera! But he knew that only Priscilla could convince Augustus.

Priscilla took a deep breath and calmed down. "Don't worry, the Chime family's property won't be taken by anyone! Even if Catherine signed the contract, I'll make sure she returns it!"

Marcus immediately understood. If Augustus really gave the land to them, Priscilla, as Augustus' wife, had the right to reclaim it!

Priscilla asked the maid to pick up her phone and call the paparazzo. "Keep following those two. I need more photos!"

Catherine forced her hand!

Not long after Augustus left Youngworth Miracle Clinic, a black car stopped in front. Gemma had arrived with Xavier and was keeping a low profile to avoid attention.

"Xavier, you don't need to bring that thermos," Gemma said, seeing him carrying a thermos bottle as he exited the car.

Marriott was worried that Xavier might eat dirt again and gave him some flour to play with. The thermos container was filled with the ravioli he had spent all morning making.NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.

When Xavier heard they visiting Hera, he immediately packed some ravioli into the thermos container, insisting it was a gift for the beautiful lady who had saved him the day before.

"No! This is the food I made for the pretty lady to thank her for saving me." Xavier hugged the thermos tightly. Gemma sighed, hoping Hera wouldn't mind it when she saw them.

They got out of the car and walked toward the clinic.

Xavier looked around curiously, clutching his thermos tightly. But he was actually keeping an eye out for paparazzi. "Hello, do you have an appointment? And what's the patient's name?" Wayne asked.

"We have an appointment in the afternoon. The patient's name is Xavier Killian. It's with Dr. Shadow," Gemma replied.

"Please wait here," Wayne said, leading them to a waiting area near the consultation room, as Hera had instructed.
