Chapter 613
"The grandmaster said that your performance for the black market is outdated. We've had this kind of performance long ago, so it's nothing special. Astral Nova needs something more interesting," Trevor repeated exactly what his superior said.
Something more interesting?Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
To Thiago, the performance to please the wealthy clients' strange fetishes was already rather perverted and dark. Yet, the grandmaster considered Thiago's segment to be outdated. Just how cruel was he?
Thiago suddenly admired him very much. Although he was part of the mafia in the South, he knew that he would have to find a backer in the northern side of the country if he wanted to break into the northern market.
Not only was Astral Nova the most influential group in the North, but they also had an influence across Agrecia. If Thiago could join Astral Nova, he would have the support needed. By then, he could snatch Hera away from Bernard.
Anyone part of Astral Nova would have unique skills that others didn't have. Thiago had no skills aside from having connections with the elite circle. Thus, he put together a segment that the elite circle would enjoy.
But he was still perplexed. "If it's nothing new, you would've known that from the start. Why did you still provide me with a venue? Doesn't providing me with a venue mean that my segment is interesting?"
"The final verdict is you failed, but we allowed you to organize the performance."
Trevor also didn't understand why the grandmaster had approved. He was only here to follow the instructions. Since he had completed his task, Trevor left.
Although Thiago still didn't understand, he did not dwell on the matter. Once the payment was settled, he left as well.

The next day, Hera went to Silverleaf Hospital. Randy personally led her to Harvey's ward. On the way there, Randy apologized for the incident in the operating room.
"Hera, I apologize for our oversight the other day. We allowed someone who wasn't part of the research group to enter the operating room, which caused the accident."
"Do you have the footage?" Hera inquired. The operation that day was rather important. Thus, the hospital would have recorded the operation to use it as teaching material in the future.
"Yes, but it's hard to tell who it is."
Randy took the tablet from his assistant and played the footage where Marcus had intentionally pushed the doctor. However, he wore a surgical cap and mask and was covered from head to toe. Thus, it was hard to identify who he was.
Hera glanced at it. "Send this video to me."
"Will do," Randy answered.
While speaking, they arrived at Harvey's ward. Johnson had already finished doing a complete check-up for Harvey.
Seeing that Hera had arrived, Johnson stepped forward and reported, "He's recovering quite well. All his health metrics are improving."
Hera nodded before looking at Harvey lying on the bed.
From the moment she entered, he had been looking at her hopefully. When he realized that she was looking at him, he immediately sat up and continued staring at her.

Hera ignored his gaze and picked up his right hand to feel his pulse. Once she was sure nothing was wrong, she spoke to Fiona, who was sitting on the side.
"Remember to stick to his rehabilitation exercises as prescribed."
"Alright, alright. Thank you! I'm so grateful!" Fiona nodded.
Hera was about to leave when Harvey suddenly grabbed her wrist.
"Can I have your number?" Harvey asked while staring at her hopefully. His hoarse voice sounded pleading.
After waking up, everyone around Harvey seemed rather blurry to him as he couldn't see them clearly, Even if it was Connor and Fiona, Harvey could only recognize them based on their voices and smell.
Only Hera's face remained crystal clear to Harvey. Thus, he kept wanting to get close to her.
