24 – Union
The house of the Aurelius was not the most adorned of all. After all, anything of the kind could be a weapon and that was not the wish of any of them.
Amaia Aurelius was looking forward to that day. The three great clans had been meeting for a long time, and she didn’t want that, not under these circumstances.
She made sure everything was in order as her blue dress was dragged across the wooden floor and her hair fastened in a perfect bun, which did not move because they were so well together.
“Don’t worry, dear. Everything is perfect.” – Cassius said with a smile.
“After the stupidity Joshua committed, I can’t face Elora so closely. A perfect union was shattered by an inconsequential brat.” – Amaia vented while checking the last details.
“Joshua will fix it. He needs it. You don’t throw a union between an omega and alpha predestined in this way. For a stupidity.”
“The question is… does he really want to? I wouldn’t blame Thomas for rejecting him forever after the humiliation he went through.” – Amaia continued to finely sit down.
The intercom rang and one of the security guards announced the arrival of Elora Abiyoe who, unlike usual, wore only a pair of jeans and a light blue shirt.
“It’s been a long time, Amaia, Cassius.” – she greeted them, sitting next to the woman and taking one of the snacks from the table.
“It really has been a long time. I hope your family is well.” – Mai smiled.
“I expect the same from you, dear. And speaking of families, I have some information that might cheer you up. Tomorrow I’ll get our granddaughter in high school.”
Amaia widened her eyes in surprise. She knew the boldness of Elora Abiyoe, however, did not imagine that the woman would deliver her granddaughter to danger.
“Are you saying that Elisa is in a college that has been attacked several times?”
Elora smiled at me.
“Exactly. Don’t worry, Thomas and Joshua will protect her. She’s safe, with our blood flowing through her veins.”
“Elora is right, Mai.” – Cassius comforted her. “Our blood is strong. Elisa is protected.”
Amaia calmed down when she heard her husband’s words. However, fear still took its toll.
“It was the quickest way to get the truth out. Thomas is too stubborn to do something he doesn’t want.” – Elora replied.
“And I’m sure you took the chance to send a spy to school.” – Cassius smiled, straightening his white hair and staring at the woman with his gray eyes.
“Exactly. I’m glad you know me so well.”
At that moment, the Ramesses were announced.
As expected, both wore red. Verena greeted them with a smile and Otho just waved.
And as soon as they sat down, Cassius and Elora looked at the man in charge.
“What a warm welcome.” – he said with disdain. “I see that I am being accused of something.”
“Accused of throwing away our greatest asset for a silly revenge. Certainly, Ramesses.” – Cassius said firmly.
“Nothing I do is silly, Aurelius. I do not see the reason to protect so much the offspring of that abuser.” – replied Otho with disdain look.
“If it is not silly, it is at least stupid. What they are you shall owe the same.” – replied Elora. “We are going through a crisis. Our children, lineages and all the packs are in danger. And kill the last connection to solve this problem. It is certainly a nonsense without size.” – ended up drinking some wine.
Otho looked at them, angry.
“It’s not forgivable what Cohen did.” – he said squeezing his fingers.
“You’ve exterminated them, Otto. The girl also suffered at his hands. She’s innocent. She’s also Karim’s omega. I will not allow you to kill our son’s companion.” – Verena said, Staring enraged.
Their eyes turned bright yellow and the energy was tense with everyone about to defend themselves. Until a velvety voice said:
“It seems I arrived in good time. ” – Jae Hyun laughed. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
He waved and sat in the chair farthest from them.
The Ramesses seemed to calm down at the same time.
“So it’s you. The informer and the primordial omega. I thank you for taking care of our children.” – Cassius greeted him.
“I do no more than my duty, Mr Aurelius.”
Otho moved in the chair, impatient. He didn’t like the arrogance he thought that omega had.
“Why did you bring us here, anyway?”
Jae Hyun observed it. In the end, this man was not as different from Lincoln as he thought.
“We’re at the moment fighting someone who’s almost invincible. Someone who can’t be killed, just arrested. Your children are the key to that. After all, the curse comes from your ancestors.”
The blame appeared on their faces and Jae Hyun ignored and continued:
“I need all the information you have. I know you don’t want to see your children in danger. But they’re already involved in it. Everyone needs to heal their own curse and you don’t, but stop it. It’s something for them to solve. You can’t interfere.”
“What are the chances of this working?” – The Miss Aurelius asked, intrigued. Not liking can not help young people.
“Minimal. But, it’s a chance.” – Jae Hyun spoke sincerely.
He observed everyone’s fear, but continued.
“Your ancestors were chosen. Now your descendants are the solution. It’s time to finally act and not hide in the shadows. The union between omega and alphas will be more important at this time. It makes us stronger. We can’t waste that connection.”
“You say that, but, fight your own alpha.” – Otto said arrogantly.
Jae smiled at me.
“If I were on the same side as him. You’d be lost.”
He looked deep into the man’s eyes and said:
“Besides, I don’t think you know the true value of a marriage, Lord Ramesses.” – he said settling in the chair. “A marriage between an alpha and an omega is a sacred union. A union blessed by Mother, and brings the power of both lineages involved. It brings a power of respect, strength and love. Something that can help fight evils and make the other can even heal. A pact that unites soul, body and mind. A union that can prevent one from killing the other. ”
Jae hyun gave a heartbroken smile.
“I see how selfish you are, Lord Ramesses. You don’t think of your own son and how he would be desolate to exterminate his own omega. Your ego is your ruin and I hope it’s not ours.”
That said, crows appeared at the scene and leaving everyone in shock, he disappeared in the middle of them.
“We’ll meet soon. ” – It was the last thing they heard from his voice.
