“My sister,” I continued, my voice heavy with emotion. “Morgana always resented me, especially when I was chosen to inherit the Moonstone, an ancient artifact of immense power in our family. She saw it as her right, and that jealousy grew over time.

The anger and pain in my voice were palpable. “My connection to my wolf weakened over the years due to neglect of my former mate, and when my son, Cassian, fell ill, Alpha Thorne showed no

concern.‘

The man before me didn’t say anything, his gaze remained steady, encouraging me to continue.

“Alpha Thorne never cared about me and my son, and when Cassian passed away, it was the final blow.

Kieran’s eyes softened with sympathy upon hearing my son’s death, and I could see pity in his eyes. “Morgana s betrayal was the worst part,” I said, my voice cracking. “She revealed that she had poisoned Cassian with wolfsbane, that her grudge against me and her desire to have the Moonstone led her to target my son.”

My jaw clenched as I continued. Meanwhile, the Alpha just let me tell him everything. I told him about Morgana’s betrayal, about Alpha Thorne’s constant neglect, about the pain of my child–everything. I didn’t know why, it must be because he was my savior and he showed nothing but kindness, but I was able to tell him everything without getting scared.

I told him about the fight I had with Morgana, I told him about the witch and the powerful spell she used, and most importantly, I told Alpha Kieran about the existence of the Moonstone. Deep inside, I knew he would not desire such a thing because he was powerful enough.

“That’s fucked up,” he grumbled. His eyes sharpened as if he remembered something,

I nodded, feeling the gravity of the situation. “I tried to fight back, but Morgana‘ s plan was too well orchestrated. I knew I had to get out before she could take the rest of the Moonstone. That’s why I ended up here, injured and desperate.”

I sighed and smiled at him. “So I’m grateful, Alpha Kieran,” I said quietly. “I don’t know what would have happened if you hadn‘ t found me.

He stepped closer, causing my eyes to widen. I didn’t know what was he thinking but nervousness immediately ate me whole when he leaned even closer, making me hold my breath.

“Do you want to kill them all?” He whispered, enticing me to say yes, but I kept my mouth shut. “Because you see, I have a deep grudge against Silverclaw. You could never imagine how happy I will become if those motherfucker’s fall into despair.”

Grudge? My eyebrows furrowed, and I felt my whole body shiver upon hearing his words. He was serious. I knew he was fucking serious. I knew that Silverclaw and Bloodfang had long been enemies, but his anger seemed deep–rooted.

“W–What did Silverclaw Pack do to you?” I managed to ask even though I could still feel his heavy breathing on my right ear and cheek.

Thankfully, he stepped away and eyed me with nothing but seriousness. I was able to breathe properly

after that. NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.

“I have my own reasons for wanting to take down Silverclaw,” he started. “My mate was killed in an ambush by Alpha Thorne‘ s pack. She was away from our territory when it happened, and it was a calculated strike designed to weaken us because they fucking know my only weakness is my mate. I’ve been waiting for the right moment for revenge.”

I felt a pang of sympathy for him. Just imagining the pain of having my mate murmured was enough to kill me too. Some cases of mate’s death caused others to go insane too. The sharp heart–wrenching pain was enough to torture our kind.

“Why… Why are you telling me this?” I asked him, this time, I was looking directly into his eyes. He smirked. “Let’s make them pay. Join me, Aria. With your knowledge of Silverclaw and their weaknesses, and my experience and resources, we could make them pay for what they’ve done.”
