The Vampire Lord's Blood Doll

Chapter 24 Prepare for the funeral

A long-haired woman kneeled naked on the leather sofa, her hips raised high, while the man behind her vigorously thrust. Two other women, naked as well, were kissing the man's body, obviously trying to increase his pleasure. On the dance floor, the DJ played lively tunes. As I looked down from above, there was a large pool, and the intertwining of flesh was evident, with men and women indulging in debauchery.

I watched the man leaning down suddenly, biting the neck of the woman as he continued to thrust. He sucked blood while he increased his speed. The woman's eyes became hazy, and her mouth opened up, then she screamed. It was hard to tell she was screaming out of the ecstasy of debauchery or out of sheer terror.

The other two women seemed oblivious. They foolishly continued kissing the man. They even lowered on their knees to reach the part where they were entwined, serving enough lube to increase both parties' pleasure.

Finally, the man thrust his final, and climaxed in a frenzy of bloodlust, ejaculating straight into the woman's womb. Having had his fill of blood, he released the woman, who fell heavily on the sofa, seemingly breathless. Her pale body laid heavily on the leather material.

The man stared at her body, catching his breath, letting himself get out of his ecstasy. Straightened up, he wiped his mouth with his hand and turned around. His eyes widened when he saw me standing there. My appearance obviously made him startled.

"Angus. When did you arrive?" He asked me, but instead of answering, I glanced at the woman still foolishly cleaning his male organ, kneeling by his side.

He pushed them both away, and they immediately lost consciousness, collapsing onto the carpet.

I snapped my fingers, and the curtains on the floor-to-ceiling windows automatically closed, blocking out the music from outside. Seeing me approaching, the man tried to dodge backward in fear. It seemed like he didn't understand what made me angry at him.

"Have you forgotten what I told you?" I asked him, making it obvious I wasn't in a good mood at all.

"What did you say?" He dared to repeat the question, which just made me furious more.

I suddenly appeared in front of him, and grabbed his neck, effortlessly lifting him up.

"Caleb, I transformed you, but I never said you could kill indiscriminately."

I roared at him. Caleb struggled to breathe, veins bulging. He was desperate to survive. His eyes showed me his certainty that I would kill him for what he did, but his instinct to stay alive was so strong, he dared to speak to me, hoping he could convince me he was worth living.

"Misunderstanding ... it's a misunderstanding ... I haven't killed anyone. She is still alive, alive!" he cried, but I couldn't care less, as he still didn't understand what I meant.

I glanced at the woman on the ground, dazed and vacant, increasing the pressure in my grip. Both of us could hear the cracking of his bones, which made him panic. Fearing I would take his life, he hastily started to talk. "Don't kill me... Please... I have important information to tell you." He stuttered while his saliva, mixed with blood, leaked out of his mouth.

I looked at him coldly for a moment, then I let him go. He was dropped on the floor, hitting his body badly on the hard material. He whined in pain while he slowly pushed him up on his knees.

"Put your clothes on." I ordered him.

He was still coughing as he got up to obey. He wrapped himself in a nearby robe, then he approached me cautiously.

"Angus. I heard that Cake has appeared locally." He told me, hopefully. Obviously, he thought that such information would make me give him a reward, but what he said made me laugh inside. I only raised an eyebrow and looked at him with a half smile.

"Cake? Where did you hear this news?"

"At the Red Blue Club. I heard that a few days ago, the chef there received an ingredient, and when it was cut open, it emitted a strong scent of Cake."

"And then?" I encouraged him to speak, even though I wasn't particularly interested. Cakes were so rare. I have lived for so long and only heard about them. In this world, there were very few people who saw one, and those few people were dead already.

Caleb continued hurriedly.

"Believe me, Angus! It is true. I heard that the ingredient was brought by William. Because of this, the chef was killed by him as well, and that night, most of the monsters who had been to the club were dealt with. The place became a club of bloodshed. They all went mad at smelling the scent from the kitchen."

I glanced at him.

"How do you know this?" I knew William's nature. If he wanted to conceal something, he wouldn't leave any traces.

"I know a receptionist. She came to me for help to escape and told me about this, but unfortunately, she was killed before she could escape."

Upon hearing this, I couldn't hold myself back. I burst out laughing. I walked closer, and I patted Caleb's shoulder.

"Prepare for the funeral." I said, then made myself disappear from his sight.

Caleb stood there stunned, not understanding what I meant. I could see his legs started to tremble, and he looked around in fear.

He, feeling anxious and frightened by his demeanour, tried to catch up, and ask for an explanation, but when he got to the door, he found it locked. He had no way to escape. Caleb was stuck in the room. He looked around. It wasn't just he was afraid of what would happen to him, but he was looking for another way to escape, still hoping that there was one. But suddenly I appeared as a black shadow. Before he would react, I embraced him, and in an instant I made him disappear as well. Only his clothes were left on the sofa.
