Despite saying this, Melina was planning to rush out the door and flee.
Only Hannah and Dotson were present.

Melina stared at her, then suddenly laughed.
“Every person for themselves, Hannah.
Even if I provoked Tyshawn, what does it matter? He carried it out; I wasn’t directly involved.

Glaring at Hannah, she continued, “You tried to deceive me with the claim of surveillance footage.
It’s fake, isn’t it? If the proof was concrete, you wouldn’t have chased me across borders.
I suspect that footage shows nothing significant.

Melina scoffed.

Since you don’t intend to kill me, that evidence is worthless.
I won’t return to Cadilind with you, and you can’t force me onto a plane.
”
Nodding, Hannah replied, “You do have a point.
”
Just as Melina was starting to feel triumphant, she heard the living room door creak open.
She turned to see Bryson’s tall figure entering.
Melina was stunned by Bryson’s presence.
She silently observed as he made his way over to Hannah and took a seat beside her.
Melina whispered under her breath, “Bryson, how can you be here? What about your affairs in Cadilind? What’s going on here?”
Hannah smiled at Bryson and then turned to Melina.
“Sorry, I was teasing you just now.
You are in Cadilind, in Bryson’s villa.
This is Valmere, not Nagobri.
”
