Chapter 2041 A Troublemaker Appears

"Sean's already waiting in the venue too," Logan said.

Ian nodded. "Alright. We'll be right there."

Logan's phone rang. He thought it was from Lola, so he took it out happily, but then he realized that it was from the bodyguards. Well, we got a situation on our hands. Logan took the call while walking out of the room. "What's wrong? Did something happen?"

Logan seemed serious, and Ian noticed it. He felt that something was off, so he followed Logan out.

The bodyguard said in a hushed tone, "She's here."

I knew it. Logan gnashed his teeth. "How dare she? Don't let her near the hotel. Take her somewhere quiet. I'll be right there." Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

Ian knew what Logan was talking about. After Logan hung up, he asked, "Leah's there, isn't she?"

Logan sighed. "You were right to worry. That b*tch found out and came here in her wheelchair. Can you believe her?" Logan laughed bitterly. "I want to see her. I want to hear what she has to say." Logan knew that Leah argued with Sean at the company before, but he didn't butt in, since he wasn't really friends with Sean.

Then, Leah had jumped off a building and broke her leg. Logan wondered why she did that and what

would happen to Leah and her kids. He followed their case closely to see the exact moment karma bit them in the *ss. Since Ian was here, Logan could finally see how crazy Leah was.

Ian had mixed feelings about this. "I came back without telling anyone, not even my company. Try not to make too big of a scene."

Logan knew that, of course. Even if Ian told his company about it, Logan still couldn't make a scene.

Ian was involved in too many scandals previously, and he could not afford another one, especially when he came back to his hometown just to get engaged. If his fans knew, they would probably stop being his fans.

"Don't worry, mate." Logan patted his shoulder. "Just go to the banquet. I'll deal with this." He seemed like he was raring to go.

Ian knew the kind of man Logan was. He loved to get involved in all kinds of conflicts. Whenever Ian used to get in a conflict with the Morgans, Logan would be the first to stand up for him no matter what it was. Ian nodded. "Be careful. I won't put anything past that woman."

"Sure." Logan then went to the elevator.

Ian saw Logan off until he was out of his sight.

At this time, Cindy and Aurora came out of the room, both of them holding a bouquet of flowers each. Cindy's dress trailed behind her, and she asked, "What's wrong? Did something happen?"

Ian clicked his tongue. "Remember the thing we worried about? It's happening right now."

Cindy knew what he was talking about. "Leah?"

Ian shrugged and smiled dryly.

Aurora frowned, and she raised her voice a little. "How shameless. Why is she here?"

Money, obviously. But how is she going to scam it out of me? Ian couldn't figure it out.

Not my problem. Ian held Cindy's hand and helped her hold her flower. "Let's go. We should do our thing now."

At the same time, Logan quickly went to the hotel and bumped into the bodyguard who was waiting at the entrance. He pointed at a spot, telling Logan where Leah had been taken to. Leah was in a wheelchair, so no matter how she shouted, she couldn't stop the bodyguards from taking her away.
