The Millionaire And His Billionaire Ex-Wife

Chapter 1

Chapter 1

It was in the evening.

Grace Salen didn’t sleep well.

She felt someone pressing down on her, making her almost out of breath.

And heavy and rapid breathing reached her ears.

Then, she felt a sharp pain in her lower body.

After realizing what was going on, Grace opened her eyes in panic and vaguely saw a man pressing on her.

“Edgar, is that… you?”

The man, smelling like a brewery, muttered a “yes”. Then, he kept pushing in and pulling out without making any sound.

Hearing the familiar voice, Grace was relieved. After several hard thrusts, she was gradually aroused and unconsciously let out charming groans.

The thrusts became fiercer and fiercer. Grace gritted her teeth and endured the pain. Immersed in the romantic atmosphere, she then reached the summit.

After three years of marriage, Edgar Fallen finally had sex with her!

Forced to marry Grace by Old Mr. Fallen, Edgar had never truly regarded her as his wife in the past few years.

Grace didn’t know why Edgar agreed to have sex with her this time.

But she was glad enough!

Two hours later, with a heavy groan, Edgar lay on her tiredly. The moonlight poured in from the French window and outlined his perfect figure.

Listening attentively to his fast heartbeat, Grace thought it was like a wonderful dream.

If it was a dream, she would rather never wake up.

She wrapped her arms around his neck with loving eyes. And she gasped while saying dotingly, “Edgar, Edgar, I really…”

Before she said “I love you”, the man murmured in a hoa r s e voice.

“Nan…”

Grace was petrified.

Her heart twisted instantly, and she felt freezing cold.

Nan was Nancy Mellis, the first love of Edgar Fallen. As Old Mr. Fallen prohibited Nancy from returning to the country, she had stayed abroad all these years.

But yesterday, she came back from abroad.

Moreover, she had sent Grace a provocative text message.

“Grace, I’m back. You’ll be evicted from the Fallen family!”

“Edgar and I are childhood sweethearts. Did you really think that you can replace me in only a few years? Get out! Get back to the orphanage. You’re doomed to stay there.”

“You have no idea how much Edgar loves me, do you? Even if you share the same bed, he will only think of me and murmur my name. You are born to be my substitute. Grace, it must be upsetting, right?”

“A substitute?

I am designated by Old Mr. Fallen to be his granddaughter-in-law-to-be. I am the official Mrs. Fallen. I am Grace Salen! I am not anyone’s substitute!” Grace thought angrily.

At this moment, Edgar remained whispering “Nan” in her ear.

The intimidating text messages sent by Nancy kept echoing in Grace’s mind, laying her self-deception bare!

Uncontrollably, tears welled up in Grace’s eyes. She clenched her fists and trembled all over out of depression.

In the past few years, she had been cowardly and flattering. To devote herself to being a good wife, she also quit her job.

Her mother-in-law and aunt-in-law despised the poor. Thinking that Grace was from an average family, they repeatedly made things difficult for her and humiliated her. Grace was reluctant to cause any trouble for Edgar and chose to suffer in silence.

For getting Edgar’s love, Grace had always been subservient and servile.

Why did he even tear apart her last bit of self-esteem?

The night was particularly long.

She had not slept all night with her eyes open.

Early the next morning, Edgar was woken up by the dazzling sunlight through the French

windows.

He rubbed his eyebrows and opened his eyes, only to see Grace sitting in front of the dressing table with her back to him.

The absurd fact that happened last night flashed through his mind. Realizing something wrong, he frowned and exuded an aura of dominance.

Although Grace had her back to him, she could clearly feel the oppression from him.

She continued to apply the skincare products with calm, but her wrist was grabbed and she was pulled up the next second.

The glass bottle in her hand fell to the ground with a thud and shattered into pieces. The white ointment then spilled all over the ground.

Grace looked up and glared at him, but she unconsciously shivered when seeing the trace of anger and disgust in his eyes.

“Do you think you can become the real Mrs. Fallen by drugging me and sleeping with you?” He looked condescendingly down at her with gritted teeth, and he tightened his grip on her wrist.

The violent look on his handsome face made him appalling.

Drugging?

Grace asked with a wry smile, “Do you think I am that kind of disgusting woman?”

Edgar’s lips curled into a mocking smile, and his eyes were filled with antipathy. “Back then, you fooled Grandpa by devious means, forcing me to marry you. How dare you pretend to be innocent now.”

“A bitc h like you can’t even be compared to Nancy!”

“A bitc h, pretend to be innocent…

It turns out that I am such a wicked woman in his mind.

If I really want to drug him, I would do it a long time ago. What’s the point of waiting until now? He really doesn’t know me at all!

My devotion in the past three years is nothing to speak of for him!

Since then, I don’t need to lock myself in this miserable marriage anymore!”

At the thought of it, Grace endured the pain in her wrist, gritted her teeth, and forcefully shook off Edgar’s hand.

Then she raised her head and said in a firm tone.

“Edgar, let’s get a divorce.”
