“Beep Beep Beep!” The alarm woke Elsa up.

She straightened her arms and turned off the alarm as she yawned. She didn’t get up from the bed for the next 30 seconds.

Elsa stood up after she felt she had gain some energy. She yawned and walked to the bathroom, she took out her brush and brushes her teeth before walking downstairs for breakfast.

Elsa walked to the dining room and her Father and step mom was already there, as usual, Marina is always the one to be late.

“Good Morning Dad, Good Morning… Mom” Elsa greeted.

In as much as she don’t want to call her mom ever again after finding out she’s not her mom, yet she don’t want to be disrespectful. Even at that, Elsa remained she used to tell her not to call her mom.

“Good morning Elsa” Her dad response but May didn’t care and Elsa didn’t mind either.

“Good morning Daddy!!! Good morning Mummy!” Marina greeted loudly walking into the dining.

May served them breakfast and Elsa could guess she’s in a good mood as she served her yours too.

“Thanks” she said and immediately starts eating.

Her stepmom, May , sat next to her dad and then dished out her owe meal and they all started eating after a short prayer.

“I’m off Dad”Elsa waved at him and entered Marina’s car.

She wondered what’s going on and why they are being a little nice this morning, though picky.

Marina turned on the car ignitor and drives out of the compound. She was playing a music titled Broken wife by “Natalie Merchant”. The song is an old one and Elsa wondered why she was playing it.

“Is anything going on, at home?”she asked her. Marina was turning the wheel to take the next road.

“What?” She snapped.

“Like, everyone seems happy today or something and I wondered if anything is happening” Elsa said.

“Well, you should have ask them while we were still at home and not try to question me while I’m driving” Marina said.

Elsa nodded and stared out of the window admiring the street as the car rolled.

“Thank you” Elsa said to Marina she got down from the car. They’ve arrived at the school and Marina had also alighted from the car, so is Elsa.

“Mm” Marina hummed in response as she carried her backpack and walked out.

Elsa sighed and carried her owe backpack then walked to the inside-school.

“Good Morning Best friend!” Elsa heard behind her and she knew it was Olivia.

She turned and meet Olivia smiling. “Good morning Olivia”

“How are you doing, you look happy this morning”Olivia said as they both start walking to the school hall.

“I should ask you that, you look happy too, and yes I am” Elsa smiled.

“So I guess they will be lot of gist this morning! Aww, I can’t wait” Olivia giggled.

“Not this morning, I’ve history class to attend. What of you?” Elsa glance at Olivia.

“I’ve literature but I’m so lazy , I didn’t sleep on time last time” Olivia whined.

“What were you doing?” Elsa stopped and asked.

“I was…” Olivia got interrupted by the Bell.

“Okay we will meet at the library and talk about it then, or should we meet over lunch later in the day?’ Olivia asked.

“I think we should meet after school” Elsa smiled.

“Alright. Catch you later Best friend!” Olivia said and kissed Elsa’s cheeks before running off.

“Crazy b*d good girl” Elsa smiled and walked herself to class. She was glad when she found out the lecturer is not yet in.

“Okay, that will be the end of today’s lecture!” The history teacher announced.

“Ah finally” Elsa muttered.

“Hey Elsa ? How many more classes do you have today?” Sera , one of her classmate walked over and asked her.

“Three, why?”

“Bye Elsa, 4:52 don’t be late and don’t be too early” Olivia yelled after Elsa laughing.

Elsa took a cab home and she paid him off after he had dropped her. She hummed as she opened their gate and walked in.

High volumed music welcomed her, it was a hip hop music and it was deafening, This can disturb the neighborhood as there’s no event going on.

Elsa wondered what’s going on but she decided to go in and see for herself. She walked in and meet a lot of people in their sitting room.

About 10 people, if not more and they were dancing while some was sitting with their partner. The sitting room leaks of alcohol and smokes.

“I’m definitely in the wrong house” Elsa said. But no! She’s in the right house, this is her house.

She walked to the device playing the music and then quickly switched it off. All gaze turns to her.

“What are you doing, Elsa!!” Marina yelled at her.

“I should be asking you, what are you doing? Who are this people and what are they doing here! Is dad even aware of this!” Elsa yelled back.

“You little thing!” She scoff and switch on the music again.

They started dancing and drinking again.

“Come here Marina!”Elsa said and grabbed her hands. She’s her senior with just 5 months after all.

She dragged her to her room and Marina took her hands off hers immediately.

“What do you think you’re doing?” she yelled.

“Where’s dad? And Mom?” Elsa asked.

Marina scoffed. “They travelled, they are both on 1 month and some weeks trips”

“What!, What do you mean?” Elsa said beating her lashes.

“Like I said, the two lovers went on a trip , and you know what that means? A lot of hang out and you’d better join me or back out. Excuse me” She pushed her out of the way and walked out.

Elsa scoff and sat on the bed, dazed for some seconds. Dad went on a one month trip and didn’t even consider telling me? Is this why the atmosphere seems good in the morning? Why didn’t dad tell me about his trip, it’s not like I’m going to refuse, so why wasn’t I informed.” Elsa wondered.

And this is their innocent Marina that they trusted so much, that they believe is still intact and a good girl, they just gave her the time and opportunity to get Completly laid. Nii! With the loud music, Elsa told herself that she can’t stay here. She was greatful she had Olivia to meet up with today.

She dropped her backpack and walked to the bathroom and had her bath.

“You’re late” Olivia told Elsa as she got down from the cab and paid the driver off.

“I guess that’s it, let’s have coffee first and discuss then we can go down to the Russia’s restaurant down the street and have a good meal”

“Sure, that’s it then” Elsa smiled as they both walk over to have their sit.

“Not at all, when I asked, he told to find out myself. But now he told me he’d tell me this morning but I have to leave and couldn’t wait up” Elsa said.

“I think your love story is about to start” Olivia laughs.

“No, not yet. But I must say I really feel something for him, you know how scared I am about guys after Freddie right? But this man, I just feel so comfortable with him despite not knowing him” Elsa said.

“About Freddie…” Olivia said.

“What about him? He’s the last person I want to hear his name or even see” Elsa hissed.

“Uhm… that’s what I’m talking about, I heard he’s back in town” Olivia said.
