The Kiss that Sparked it All

Chapter 2676

“Really, it's quite something, isn't it? I wonder if you have ever considered a change of scenery. How about joining our studio? We're in dire need of a photographer with your knack for capturing movement and dance,” said Sienna.

Regina smiled wryly.

This slick agent was playing her cards close to her chest. She didn't even bother to discuss the interview with Dahlia. Instead, she was trying to poach her for her own studio.

Did she really take her for one of those tabloid hacks?

“Sorry, but I'm under a long-term contract with New Blossom Press. Ms. Sienna, you must be aware of the reputation of our publication. An interview with Dahlia is a win-win situation. It would not only boost Dahlia’s domestic reputation by a notch but also give the public a deeper understanding of her. Why pass up such an opportunity? You should know that our press does not interview just anyone.”

There was a certain pride that came with being a reporter for New Blossom Press, and Regina was no exception. Sienna hesitated.

Ever since Dahlia returned to the country after her studies, she had made a name for herself in the dance community, but many people still didn't know much about her.

In today's society, aspiring to be a solitary artist was a recipe for obscurity.

As her agent, Sienna knew this all too well.

But the obstinate artist she represented had turned away so many great opportunities. Sienna was both frustrated and helpless as Dahlia’s agent.

However, here was New Blossom Press, knocking on their door once more, and she couldn't bear to let this chance slip away.Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org

“Alright, wait here a moment,” she said. “I'll check in one more time. Regardless of the answer, I promise to give you a satisfactory response.”

Regina nodded with a smile, her idea of a satisfactory answer being a clear “yes’.

She couldn't understand why Dahlia was so adamant about not giving interviews.

She didn't see it as a bad thing, especially considering the clout of New Blossom Press. An interview with them could only benefit Dahlia.

The press had a roster of top figures from all fields, and some people couldn't even secure an interview if they begged.

Could it be that she was worried about her romance with Nolan being exposed?

That man looked vaguely familiar to Regina as if she had seen him somewhere before, but she couldn't quite place him.

Lately, she had been running around with her senior colleagues, even skipping the dinner party her father had asked her to attend. There was definitely more to this man’s story, and perhaps she would bump into him again at some socialite gala.

Sienna returned soon after with her answer, “I'm very sorry, but Dahlia is still unwilling to be interviewed. I apologize for making you come all this way.”

Regina was stunned that Dahlia could be so resistant! But she couldn't leave empty-handed, “Just give me two minutes, no, just one minute, to speak with Dahlia. I've come all this way, and surely you won't deny me that. Returning empty-handed would make it hard to explain to the press.” Regina was pushing her luck now, but she was in New Blossom territory, after all.

Sienna didn't want to sour the relationship, so finally, gritting her teeth, she agreed, “Fine, follow me."

Regina breathed a sigh of relief. If she couldn't land an interview with Dahlia, she'd lose her standing with the press for sure.
