Chapter 10
Chapter 10 – Walking Through The Pack. LAURA Liam led us into where all the packmembers have their houses, but there are also shops and a
place where you can sit down and get a coffee. He showed me the gym and where his warriors work
out and train daily. I was surprised to see so many she-wolves there, but Liam told me he likes for
everyone to be able to protect themselves, so he encourages as many as possible to at least take
some classes in self defense
“From the look on your face, I take it that this isn’t something you are used to.”
“No, she-wolves were not allowed to train. Especially not with the warriors. My dad wanted to train me,
but the old Alpha said no. When Miles became Alpha he continued that.” Liam nods.
“Sadly many packs still function in that old fashion way. But that means you never trained?”
“Yes, but I wanted to.” Liam smiles at me.
“When you have given birth, I will train you until you are ready to train in the gym.”
.
“I would love that, thank you.”

We continue walking down the streets and come by what I think must be a school. It is confirmed when
a bunch of smaller kids, come running out of the building for their break. I stop up and look at them
playing.
DC
“This holds the nursery school and elementary school. So all smaller kids then we have junior high and
high school another place.”
“It looks amazing.” I smile at him.
Just then a few of the smaller pups notice us and begin to whisper among themselves. Liam sees it
and walks over to them. Before we can say anything a small boy says.
“You are the king, I saw you when you talked to everyone.” Liam smiles.
“Yes, I am.” The pups look at each other. Then a girl asks.
“Are you the Queen?” We laugh and I bend down.
“No, I am not the Queen. I am just lucky the king wants to be my friend.”
“Wauw.” It sounds from them all, just as a voice from a woman says.
“Your highness, I am very sorry if these pups disturbed you.”
“Hello, Miss Anna. Not at all, it was us that came in. This is Laura, a new member and soon to be a
mom.”
“Oh, that’s wonderful, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“Thank you, this looks like a nice place.” She smiles big and we talk a little before she needs to go. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
We have been walking for a long time and I am beginning to get tired. But the land belonging to the
pack i s so beautiful, Liam also tells me that when I feel like I am ready, I can move into one of the
houses. But assures me that there is no hurry. And that I can stay in his house for as long as I want to,
even when the twins are born. He really is so different from any other guys I have known or met, and I
feel safe around him. Liam notices that I am beginning to walk slower and that I am getting quiet.
Before I can say or react to anything. He sweeps me up in bridal style and begins to walk back to his
house.
“Liam! What are you doing?”
“You are tired Laura, and we have walked a long time now.”
“I can walk home.”
“But you don’t need to. This is fine just accept it beautiful.” I sigh but don’t say anything more and he
smiles at me. Before I know it I have fallen asleep in his arms.
LIAM
I should not have made her walk so long. So I lifted her and carried her home and couldn’t help but
smile when she fell asleep in my arms.
This feels good.’ I tell Shadow.
‘It does.’
‘I hope she will be happy here. After everything she went through.”
“Kali says they are to relax and enjoy being here.’ I wonder who Kali is.
“She is her wolf.’ Shadow tells me after he heard me.
That is a good sign.’ I say
‘I know
‘I hope she will stay in the house. Also after her pups are born. I like having her around.’ I admit
‘Me too.’
We don’t say more and I just keep walking toward the house. Laura has slowly taken a place in my
heart, and I care deeply about her. I mean how can’t I, she is so sweet and caring, and do anything she
can to make sure people are happy. My mother had a hard time a few days ago, as it was 3 years ago
we lost my father. Laura used that day to take care of my mom. the same way mom always takes care
of us. When I reach the house, I carry her to her room and tug her in before leaving her to get a nap.
