Chapter 385
Chapter 385
Easton pursed his lips and thought, "What will happen to mom if the competition is held a week later,
rather than three days later?" When hearing his father's words, he was afraid that he would make
things difficult for his mom.
Derek shook his head. "Nothing. It's good for us to have more time to prepare for the competition."
The little guy suddenly breathed a sigh of relief.
"But... I still have to find out what's going on with Judy. I felt this was strange. There are only two
possible explanations for what's going on right now. Something was wrong with Judy, or with the
surveillance footage." He pondered.
Damian nodded in understanding, "I will have the surveillance footage carefully examined."
Clearly, the latter guess was highly possible.
"Isn't that crazy woman okay? There's no need to investigate her." Easton's heart skipped a beat. He
didn't expect his father to be so insightful.
Damian looked at him and said, "Little Young Master, you are wrong. No matter what, she had an
accident when she was staying in our hotel." NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.
"It would be the best if this has nothing to do with the hotel, but if someone did this on purpose, we
have to find out the truth. If such a thing happens again, it will sully the hotel's reputation."
"Don't worry. It won't happen again." The little guy said without thinking too much. After saying that, he
froze and covered his mouth immediately.
Such an obvious move immediately attracted others' attention. They both looked at him with suspicion.
Derek's gaze was very sharp.
Derek narrowed his eyes and waved. "Come here, my son."
Easton was speechless.
The little guy regretted it very much. Why did he say so much? He was doomed. His father must know
he did it.
"Well, I, I'll go find mom." After he finished speaking, he immediately ran towards the door.
Derek looked at Damian and Damian immediately blocked the door.
"Uncle Damian, get out of the way." The little guy was furious.
Damian smiled, stretched out his long arms, picked up the little guy, and then put him in Derek's arms.
The little boy was struggling in Damian's arms, but he became timid when he was in his father's arms.
His big bright eyes were filled with frustration.
Derek never thought that his son would have anything to do with Judy's accident.
"Tell me, what did you do?" He put his son on his desk and looked at him calmly, waiting for him to tell
the whole story.
Easton was frustrated and pouted. "It's not a big deal. I just scared her."
Damian twitched his lips as he thought of Judy going crazy in the hospital bed. He couldn't help
shaking his head and thinking it was quite a scare.
"Boss, it seems that Adam and the other four people scared Judy last night," Damian said.
He was talking about Easton's five bodyguards. They were all good at fighting and avoiding, and each
of them was good at one or two things.
The names of the five people were very simple, because they worked for the Xaviers, so they all had
the same surname, which was Derek. Adam was the big brother and was best at martial arts.
"Uncle Damian, why are you looking at me like this? That was clearly my idea, okay? I was also the
one who put this interesting idea into practice. They were just helping me deal with the aftermath."
The little guy said proudly and Damian was lost for words.
Suddenly, Easton's head was knocked, and he felt pain. Then a deep and dangerous voice sounded
behind him. "What? You are proud?"
Easton covered his head, puffed out his cheeks, and held back his anger. "No."
The little guy said sullenly, and couldn't help but raise his head and glared at his father. "You have a
crush on that crazy woman? I will tell mom that you hit me for that crazy woman."
Derek didn't know how to respond.
His face darkened immediately. "Don't talk nonsense in front of your mother."
"Hmph, you are guilty. I know I was right," The little guy said triumphantly.
Derek didn't say anything but suddenly had an urge to pinch this kid's cheeks.
"Don't do that again. Adam and others are your bodyguards. They should protect you, not play tricks on
anyone."
"Even if you want to teach someone a lesson, you should at least ask for my permission. Do you
believe that I will replace Adam and the others with new bodyguards? They don't need to be versatile.
As long as they are strong and good at fighting, they can protect you."
This was a serious threat, so the little guy immediately became anxious. "No, you can't do that."
Adam and his four brothers had all kinds of skills, which was convenient for him to prank on others.
If they left, he would have less fun.
"Then behave yourself." Derek scolded Easton.
"You can't do this. They are my men now, so you can't just make them leave. You're going back on your
promise." The little boy's face flushed.
"Sorry, when you are in charge, you can talk to me about this." Derek sneered.
Easton was furious. He wanted to say that it wouldn't take long before he could go places. But he
suddenly thought of something and looked at his short legs. He was frustrated.
"Tell me what you did last night."
The little guy accepted the fact that he was no match for his father now, so he was much more
obedient. He sighed and told his father what he did last night.
However, as he spoke, he began to be in high spirits, mainly because he was very proud of what he did
last night. He thought he was a genius.
Damian thought of something and immediately said, "Little Young Master, you insisted on installing a
projection for this?"
Easton snorted and thought of something. He immediately took out a small USB drive from his small
bag and put it on the table.
Seeing it with one's own eyes was always more exciting than hearing the story.
Derek raised his eyebrows, took the USB drive, plugged it into the computer, and played the video.
At first, the video showed the same scene as the surveillance footage did. In the room, Judy was
sleeping soundly on the bed. The difference was that an unidentified object flew in from under the
window.
Not long after, a female ghost floated in the air and looked at Judy. The next second, cries and howls
were heard in the video, which made people's hair stand on end.
Derek was wordless.
Damian also kept silent.
Then, Judy woke up, and her screams echoed in the big office. They were very loud and harsh.
All of this was exactly the same as the surveillance footage, too. The only difference was that there was
a female ghost chasing after Judy until she passed out.
Easton looked at it again and smiled brightly.
