Chapter 334
Chapter 334
Sheldon took the two of them to the clothing area.
"Sheldon, I'm going to the bathroom. Please keep an eye on Easton."
"Of course, don't worry. I'll take good care of him."
She had been with Sheldon for five years. Besides, the Joneses was her savior. Nora trusted Sheldon
and left after giving him a few instructions.
The little guy felt that God was helping him. If his mother was here, he wouldn't be able to give Sheldon
a hard time.
Sheldon also thought it'd be easier for him to communicate with the kid without Nora around.
He thought a little kid would be easy to be bought with some snacks or toys. Sheldon wanted to bribe
the him to get Nora to agree to marry him as soon as possible, but he didn't take Easton seriously.
"Easton, I will buy whatever you like for you."
Easton grinned, "Really?"
"Of course it's true. I never lie."
"There's a classmate in my kindergarten. His father bought him beautiful clothes. I want them too,"
Easton said innocently.
Sheldon said, raising his eyebrow, "No problem. I will buy them for you too."
"Okay, thank you, uncle."
He said cheerfully, then pulled Sheldon to his destination. "Then let's go. I'll take you there."
Easton's black eyes flashed with cunning. He was glad that his trick worked.
He took Sheldon to a shop that specialized in children's clothing.
Although clothing industry was one of the Jones family's business, he didn't know much about
children's wear. But he could roughly see that the store's children's wear was really good in design.
He was a little surprised, but he didn't think much about it. After all, Easton was a little boy. He never
thought that a shop selling clothes for children would be so expensive.
The salesgirl quickly welcomed them with a smile, "Welcome, how can I help you?"
Easton blinked, gave the salesgirl a cute smile, and then looked at Sheldon. "Uncle, are you really
going to buy clothes for me?"
"Yes, you can choose which one you like."
"These clothes are so beautiful. Can I choose a few more?" the little guy asked expectantly.
"Of course." He waved his hand generously.
"Well... Is it going to cost a lot of money? What if my mom scolds me?" Easton said.
"It's okay. I'll explain it to your mom. I will satisfy you no matter how expensive they are," Sheldon
smiled.
Easton said happily, "Thank you, uncle."
He immediately pulled the salesgirl inside and Sheldon sat casually on the sofa in the lounge.
This store occupied a lot of ground. It would take some time to run around on his own. He was worried
that his plan would fail when his mom came back.
He immediately looked at the salesgirl and blinked his big eyes. "Pretty sister," he called.
The salesgirl had never seen such an outstanding young boy with such a noble temperament, and she
immediately fell in love with him.
"Little boy, what kind of clothes do you like? I will show you."
"Where is the most expensive clothes in your store? Take me there."
Salesgirl, "..."
The most expensive clothes were divided into a separate area. Under the attention of the salesgirl,
Easton chose more than 20 sets of clothes, pants, and six or seven pairs of shoes. The salesgirl was
surprised.
As children's clothes were small, it didn't look so spectacular when more than 20 neatly folded. Easton
returned back with the clothes.
Sheldon came over and said, "Easton, have you done chosen clothes?"
He smiled and nodded, "Yes, they're all here."
He glanced at it and saw that they were a lot. He suddenly felt a little disdainful for the little guy's deed,
but he did not show it on his face. He took out his wallet and went to the counter. "How much?"
The salesgirl remained calm. She packed the clothes and shoes in two large shopping bags and neatly
wrote out the receipts and invoices.
"Hello, sir. It's 528,000 in total."
Sheldon's hand trembled, and he suspected that he had misheard. "... How much?" he asked again.
"Sir, the total is 528,000," the salesgirl repeated with a smile.
She saw that the little boy picked these clothes casually without taking a look or trying them on. There
were many sizes in them that couldn't match. Some were big and some small.
She specifically reminded him, but the little boy didn't care at all. He just asked her to pick out all the
more expensive ones in the most expensive areas.
The salesgirl was a little suspicious that the little boy did it on purpose. But thinking that he was such a
little boy, she felt that she was over thinking it.
No matter what, this is a big deal. If the sales were successful, she would be well-paid this month. She
was overjoyed at the thought.
She was happy, and so was Easton, but Sheldon didn't feel the same way.
He still wondered if he had heard wrong and tried to maintain a smile on his face. "Can you show me
the unit price list?"
"Of course, sir."
Sheldon took a look at the unit price list, and his face darkened.
The cheapest and most expensive pieces of children's clothing were 13, 000 and 26, 000, respectively.
He was a clothing manager who had been in charge of the company for so many years. He didn't know
that children's clothing would be so expensive.
They were as expensive as designer adult suits.
Looking at his expression, the salesgirl explained, "Sir, every clothes in our shop is carefully designed
by foreign designers. Although our brand is only available for children's clothing, it is also very famous
in the clothing brand."
Easton pulled the hem of Sheldon's clothes and said, "Uncle, you don't want to buy them for me
again?"
He said with a puckered mouth, "But you just said that I can choose a few more and that you would buy
them as long as I like. Our teacher said we should be honest. You can't lie to me because I am a child."
Sheldon was lost for words.
This was not about being honest or not. He never expected this little guy to be so picky. Sheldon's face
was grim, and he had the urge to hit the kid.
The strange feeling in his heart came again. He frowned at Easton and wondered if he had done it on
purpose.
Easton looked at him with a confused face. Seeing that he pulled a long look, he immediately ran to
hide behind the salesgirl and shouted.
"Uncle, I don't want these clothes. Don't scold me."
The salesgirl also noticed that this gentleman found the clothes very expensive.
But she despised him. The little boy was right. When he was at the door, he did promise that he would
buy these clothes for him. Now he wanted to go back on his word. It was not something that a
gentleman would do.
He had the right to not buy them, but he went too far to scold such a child.Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.
