Chapter 34: 34

Chapter 34: 34

Elliot and I are laying on the carpeted floor, panting fast. My head rested on Elliot’s chest. I hear his

heart beating, feel the sweat on his chest against my cheek. I look up to Elliot and finally ask, “Elliot?”

“Yeah?” he answers whilst panting

“What was your childhood like? Why do you have scars?” I ask him. He looks down at me. Elliot moves

me head a little, his body faces me and our faces are closer. From where I was, I could see how Elliot’s

eyes had a blue hue underneath all the green. His lashes are long and the stubble on his face has

become my new comfort zone.

Elliot notices how I have observed him. His brow raises “What?”

I swallow, “Nothing, it’s just I never noticed how blueish greenish your eyes are” I tell him.

He smiles at me, “Do you like them? Do you want our children to have my eyes?”

I roll my eyes, “Yes, to be honest and I want them to have your lashes too” I tease. Elliot smiles and

pulls my face closer for a kiss. I lay to my side to a get a deeper kiss. My arms are around his neck to This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

pull him closer to me. His lips are soft and wet, his tongue is long and supple. I easily get lost in his kiss

every time.

When we pull away, Elliot touches my chin and looks deeply into my eyes. He sighs as he places a few

strands of my hair behind my ear, “Eli, I want to keep as safe as possible” he starts to say.

I smile up at him, “Elliot, I know. I understand”

“I don’t want you to feel as if I am trying to keep you in a box just-“

“Elliot” I cut him off, “I know”

Elliot nods and places a kiss on my forehead. He then proceeds to ask, “So, what were you going to

ask me?”

“What was your childhood like? And what are the scars on your biceps?” I ask him. Elliot raises the

other arm where his scars are. He looks at them and takes a moment, as if he’s trying to remember

everything. The scars on his biceps were thick but did not leave any hyperpigmentation. The scars

varied in side, some were long and some were short but none of them were darker in color than his

skin.

“These?” he asked without looking at me, “these are scars from when I was still a hard-headed young

man. Nothing to tell here” he says. From the long pause he took before he told me where it came from,

I knew he was lying. From his tone, I know he was lying. Elliot’s not good with keeping secrets, let

alone lie to me.

“Elliot, if you’re not ready to talk about it, it’s fine but don’t lie to me” I tell him. Elliot looks at me, his

eyes staring deeply into mine.

“I’ll tell you some other time, for now, just hold on to the fact that I was reckless when I was younger."

“Elliot” I start to say but did not get to finish

“Eli, next time, I promise”
