The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold)

Chapter 64

Chapter 64

Leopold furrowed his brows slightly, his gaze landing on Aurelia before shifting to her, “Mind your titles,

in the company, I’m your boss, nothing more.”

His voice was neither too loud nor too soft, perfectly audible to Aurelia. Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

Ha, seems like the big boss is playing safe now.

She smirked, “Ms. Evelyn, you’re new here, you don’t yet understand Mr. Leopold’s rules. Mr. Leopold

makes. a clear distinction between his personal and professional life, he values merit over connections

and despises sycophancy. You better be careful, or you might leave a bad impression.”

Evelyn’s face turned pale, she was frantic inside. However, she quickly switched to a pitiful look, “I’m

sorry, Mr. Leopold, I forgot for a moment. I’ll be more careful in the future.”

“At Astral Enterprises, competence is what matters most,” Leopold retorted before heading to the

elevator.

Aurelia stepped forward, following him inside, “Mr. Leopold, there’s something I wanted to discuss with

you.”

Leopold gave her a slight nod, leading her to his office upstairs.

He settled into his chair, sipping his coffee, “What is it you wanted to discuss?”

Aurelia pursed her lips, nervously tapping her fingers and whispered, “I just wanted to know, why did

you tear my drawing?”

He stiffened, his expression turning icy as if he was suddenly enveloped in a cold winter chill, “Are you

here to confront me?”

“God no, I wouldn’t dare.” Aurelia shook her head in denial, “I just wanted to know what was wrong with

the drawing that upset you. I’ll be careful next time.”

A cold light flashed in Leopold’s eyes. He put his coffee mug down, stood up, and began walking

towards

her.

His imposing presence made her shudder, instinctively stepping back.

With every step he took forward, she took one back, until she was cornered with nowhere to go.

He towered over her, his tall figure imposing like a mountain, pinning her against the wall, “You’re not

allowed to draw other men in your sketches. If I see one, I’ll rip it to shreds!”

His tone was chilling, leaving no room for argument.

Aurelia recoiled, feeling both frightened and angry.

What the helll

Why did he get to set the rules?

“Why should you dictate what I draw? It’s my freedom. You already don’t let me socialize, now you

want to interfere with my artwork too? Isn’t that a bit too much?”

Leopold gripped her chin, his gaze piercing like a blade.

“You’re not alone now, our children are growing inside you. Your actions and thoughts can influence

them. If you fantasize about other men, it can severely damage the bond between us.”

Aurelia was dumbstruck, she had never heard of such a thing before.

“What I think can affect your relationship with our children? That’s impossible, right? Are you joking?”

Leopold tapped her forehead, “It’s called subconscious prenatal education. Your thoughts can influence

our children. If you keep thinking about such nonsense, it’ll bring negativity and harm their health.”

He spoke with a serious demeanor, leaving Aurelia feeling brainwashed. She swallowed hard, rubbing

her slightly bulging belly, ‘Fine… I won’t draw then

Leopold freed her, returning to his chair, “In the future, be mindful of what you should and shouldn’t

think about. Don’t cross the line.”

“… understand,” Aurelia mumbled, slipping out of the room.

The moment the door closed behind her, a mysterious smirk appeared on Leopold’s lips.

Back at the Design Department, Aurelia took out her phone and started Googling.

Oh my, subconscious prenatal education is a real thing. He wasn’t just making it up.

Being a woman is indeed tough. Pregnant women have to be cautious about everything, even their

thoughts. Men, on the other hand, can do whatever they want. It’s so unfair!

Just as she was brooding over this, her phone buzzed. It was a WhatsApp message from Arnold, “I’m

back in the country”
