Arnold glanced down at Chloe’s hand holding his before raising his head to meet her eyes..

“No.. big bro” she shook her head gently holding firmly onto his hand..

“I’m sorry bro.. but you can’t do this, he apologized right? why don’t you let it go?”

Arnold cupped her face in his large palm peering gently at her..

“Chloe.. don’t you see that we all care about you? in as much as we do things that irritates you a lot or make you upset.. we still love you, and all I’m trying to do is to save you from this big jerk.. I don’t want you to fall a victim to him”

Bryan sighed, he rolled his eyes at the unnecessary drama going on in front of him, Arnold was just being too much..

“But I don’t need saving big bro.. I’m old enough to make my own decisions.. you can’t keep hiding me away from guys because you think they have ulterior motives towards me.. I’ll get married someday”

Mia and Elizabeth stared intently at the unconscious figure on the bed, it’s been three hours and yet he hadn’t woken up..

“How much longer will he be unconscious?” Mia asked no one in particular, she sighed and stepped away from her brother..

It’s frustrating how he ends up at the hospital every now and then..

“I hope he wakes up soon.. my poor son has been through a lot lately” Elizabeth whimpered, she was a bit satisfied that Dennis and Rita got what they truly deserved..

After all they were the ones responsibly for her son’s condition..

Elizabeth noticed his eye lids movement, she gasped out in shock and tugged at Mia’s hair..

“He moved his eyes” she cried out in joy..

“Kyle?.. Kyle” She called out continuously for his eyes to flutter open, he gasped out loudly and sat up like he was being deprived of air in his sleep..

His warm eyes stared blankly at them, Mia regained her composure and approached him with a smile..

“Big bro.. are you alright?”

Kyle remained speechless, the door opened and a hurried Charlotte buzzed in like a bee shrugging Arya’s hold on her….

“Kyle?.. it’s good to see you awake.. I was scared for a second”

Arya stood by the door side watching intently, she was scared to move forward into the room..

Kyle touched Charlotte’s hands that cupped his face gently..

Arya took in a deep breath and turned around to leave, she had seen enough, he was alright.. and that’s all that mattered..

Her feet froze on the spot when she heard a heavy thud on the ground…

She turned around and was surprised to see Charlotte on the cold floor groaning in pain, she snapped her head to Kyle who had a distant look in his eyes..

She recognized it! she recognized that look, he let out a low growl at Charlotte who was still on the floor trying to figure out what just happened..

Mia and Elizabeth took a step back from Kyle who sat up on the bed with a groan, his wrist was wrapped in a white bandage..

And a few bruises could be seen at the side of his neck and knuckles..

Charlotte helped herself up from the floor, She couldn’t believe Kyle just pushed her away from him, she suddenly froze and snapped her head back to him..

Has Kyle recollected his past? if he did, then there’ll be no hope for her, Dennis and his wife were currently behind bars, there was no other way out for her..

Chad stepped into the ward and was almost knocked down by Charlotte who sprinted out, he straightened his coat and walked to their midst..

“Great! he’s awake.. how do you feel now Kyle?”

“I’d have been a lot better if I woke at a different hospital other than this one” He murmured beneath his breath as Chad guided him to lay on his back..

Chad chuckled softly and turned back to the two ladies standing behind him..

“Please one at a time.. he’s currently stressed out.. we don’t want to worsen his condition”

Mia gave a firm nod “Alright.. Arya can stay back.. we’ll come in as soon as she’s done”

She pulled her mum out along with her afterwards..

Chad smiled at Arya who hadn’t taken a step forward..

“Oh alright! fine! I’ll give you your privacy..” he murmured jokingly and walked out of the ward…

Arya sighed closing the door behind her before she made her way to the figure who lay on the bed..

She noticed his eyes were closed, he couldn’t possibly be asleep, he was just awake a moment ago..

“Kyle..”

She called out softly to receive silence in return, she touched his arm gently and almost immediately, he sat up with a teasing grin on his lips startling Arya who wasn’t expecting the move he made..

Kyle lifted her chin up with a finger peering meaningfully at her..

“So.. I guess someone missed me so much.. huh?” he teased which made Arya confused..

“What-

He placed a finger to her lips cutting her speech off.. “Shh.. Arya Anderson.. we’ve got plenty of time more to argue.. don’t you think?” He added a teasing wink at the end of his speech..

Arya’s eyes suddenly grew large like saucers when she got what he was trying to say..

“You remember me now?” She asked in shock.
