Hailey POV

I just finished my practice for our graduation because I will be graduating in a few weeks from now. I feel very happy because I managed to graduate from college without using my parent’s money and of course I am also very grateful to my boyfriend,  he is very supportive in everything I do. I’m so lucky to have Killian in my life.

And now I’m already outside of my University I’ll just go home to my apartment for a while and then I’ll go straight to Killian’s house so I can cook him something, he want us to eat together cause he has a lot of meetings to attend to and I’ve been busy too, so we don’t get together often.

I was waiting for a can when suddenly a car stopped in front of me, I saw it opened and spat out a woman who was familiar to me she Killian’s ex fiancee Chandria. What bad wind brought her to this place. I’m not mad at her I understand her, maybe she really loves Killian until now but I can’t let go of the man I love.

Killian has also told me a few times what Chandria is doing and she always shows up in his office even though he said a few times that it was vague when they got back together but she was very persistent and didn’t seem to get tired.

She walked closer to me which I wondered. “Hi Hailey,” She greeted me and I immediately smiled at her and greeted her back.

“Can we talk? Just for a moment?” She said, at first I was hesitant but later I just gave in to her.

We went to a cafe that was also close to the university. While we were waiting for our order she suddenly spoke. “To tell you honestly Hailey I didn’t want to leave Killian but because my family needed me so I had no choice. I regretted so much that I didn’t tell him the truth, so I come back here for him.” She said

“What do you want to say now Chandria?” I asked directly. It may sound rude but I can see where this conversation is going.

“I just want to ask favor to you Hailey. It’s only how many months since you and Killian met and become in a relationship right? I want him back in my life and that won’t happen as long as you’re there, because after all if you don’t come to his life, maybe we’re getting back now. ” She said

“It’s not my fault that Killian and I met when you left him and as far as I remember it’s been how many years already when you two broke up. And as you can see he already move on. I respect you being his ex fiancee but I’m sorry I can’t give you the favor you want. I love Killian and I won’t leave him because of you. ” I boldly said

I saw her how her face change into dark one. Is she thinking that I will let go Killian because she wanted too. I will never turn my back to Killian no matter what she’ll do.

“I’m giving you an option Hailey to leave him or he will leave you. I know him very well and when he gets bored he will just throw you away like garbage and replace another woman. I’m the only one he seriously love. I’m doing this for you not to get hurt. ” She promisedText © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

I laughed heartily. “Whether he leaves me or replace me to other woman, I don’t care as long as we’re happy now. I don’t need advice from other people because I can decide my own Chandria. And I’m grateful for your concern but still I will stay by his side no matter what. As long as he doesn’t say he doesn’t love me anymore I won’t leave him. “I insisted

It was obvious that his patience was running out and she was just holding back her anger in front of me. If she thinks I’m like any other woman she can scare she’s wrong.

“Wake up to the truth Harley, I’m the one he loves! He’s just using you and now that I’m here there’s no reason for you to stay in his life. Because eventually he’ll come back to me soon because I’m the one he really loves!” She promised emphatically

“I’ve been wide awake Chandria since he confessed to me. You’re the one who told me that you came back to get him again and you’re confident in telling me that he loves you and he’ll come back to you right? So why do you need to talk to me and tell me to leave him. Are you that scared to eat your words because you know in yourself that he will never come back to you? You are the one who should woke up to the truth Chandria. Have mercy on yourself don’t be so desperate to chase the man who don’t want and love you anymore. You’re the one who left him in the first place you have no right to take back the person you once left. ” I told her.

“I’m telling you Hailey, I’m a bad opponent! You don’t want me to get angry.”

“Is that a threat? How cheap you are. I didn’t know that Killian loved the woman like you.” I scoffed at her

She was about to slap me when I restrained her hand. “It’s not your hand that can touch my cheek. Does it hurt to hear the truth Chandria? She loved you in the past, so if you think I’ll be willing to leave him just because you said so think twice. I won’t do what you did to him. ” I nodded seriously

“You’re too brave!” She promised

“I can be brave all the time especially when it comes to people who are important to me,” I reply back

“You’ll regret this day Hailey! Make sure you will not cry  when he leaves you.” She said angrily

“If that day will come that’s my problem and not you anymore.” I smiled and got up to leave.

I won’t be able to stay with that crazy woman any longer because maybe our conversation will go nowhere. I don’t want to have a fight and create a scandal and ruined Killian’s reputation.

I’m just going to strain myself too much in case I hit her. She’s not worth it of my time.

When I got out of the cafe I arranged myself first. I was too haggard because of that woman. She really a bitch.

I took a taxi to get home to the apartment because I still have to go to Killian’s house because if I will came to his house late I’m sure he’s going to transform into a lion.
