The Billionaire’s Nanny

Chapter 17

Benson had promised himself that he would never contaminate his office again after the last time, but now he was in the thick of a mess after doing exactly what he swore he would never do.

Internally, he scolded himself for being such an idiot and for being so irresponsible.

When Alita opened the door to Benson’s office, she grumbled, “What the heck, Benson?”

What was he going to say to her now that she’d seen what she had? What excuse would he come up with to explain what she had witnessed?

Jane lowered her head, attempting to hide her face from Alita. She ran outside, covering her face with her hand as she skipped past Alita, who had been glaring at her the entire time she was near the door.

As she breathed and smelt sex in the air, Alita felt a wave of rage and jealously, and then exploded. “I texted you a hundred times telling you Julie was in the hospital, but you were obviously occupied,” she said, her face twisted in disgust and her arm crossed across her breast. When Benson learned Julie was in the hospital, he went pale. “You said not to phone you, which I think is silly, but I didn’t even though it was extremely necessary,” she added. “Is this why you won’t pick up the phone? Your daughter is in the hospital, yet you’re out having carnal hijinks,” she screamed at the top of her lungs, letting her rage overtake her.

Benson hissed, frightening her into quiet, “Alita.” “Shut the door and stop yelling,” said Benson in a growl.

Alita swung around and shut the door behind her. She was taken aback by the fact that he had yelled at her.

As his chest rose and sank with heavy gasps, he continued, “Now, tell me where my daughter is.” His anxiety had eclipsed the sex’s aftereffects, and his hazy vision had cleared. “Can you tell me what happened to Julie?” he took a step forward, leaning away from his table, till he was only inches from from her.

“She had a fever, so I took her to the hospital, and they asked for her father, and I’ve been trying to reach you but…” she pinched her lips together, the echo of his yell still ringing in her head. A worry line emerged on his forehead as he looked downward and back at her with watchful eyes.

Alita tried to say something but couldn’t get over her annoyance. What she had just witnessed astounded her.

He surely did ut. It’s something she’d expect from him. What were the chances that a girl would find him in his office and fuck him? He was a beautiful man with girls swarming around him, but what were the chances that one would find him and fuck him? She shouldn’t have been so enraged, but she was.

There was an unpleasant moment as the two couldn’t think of anything to say to each other, each turning away from themselves.

“Take me to her,” Benson replied, his voice trembling. He remarked as he walked by her to open the door, “Just take me to her.”

She followed him outside and whispered, “Hawkins Memorial.” The image of the girl’s drowsy and dreamy face, the happiness on her face as she sat there, legs parted, and struggling with her buttons, flashed through her mind. She wasn’t able to conceal the fact that she had had a fantastic time with Benson. It irritated Alita that she could see the girl’s excitement in fucking Benson despite her apprehensive and scared expression.

Alita had a moment where she hoped it was her, but she pushed the thought aside and concentrated on her irrational fury against Benson.

They were soon in one of Benson’s cars, on their way to the hospital where Julie was being treated. She sat in the back.

Alita was deafeningly quiet for the whole of the journey. When he stole eyes at her, she sneered back.

She frowned until her face ached.

As she considered the situation she had walked into, a line emerged between her brows, and her pupils flashed with rage.

She knew she didn’t have the right to be upset, so she blamed it on the fact that she’d been texting him about Julie and hadn’t gotten a response until she had to come to his office.

As soon as he passed through the hospital’s gate, she pursed her lips and gazed out the window.

After he parked and they dropped, she led the way to Julie’s ward.

When Benson entered Julie’s ward and heard her usual screams, his heart plummeted. When he got to the door and saw many nurses and a doctor with her, he froze and couldn’t move any further. Alita skirted around him and walked into the ward. As her heart grew heavier with anguish and pity for Julie, her expression became muted with sadness in her eyes. When she looked at Benson, even when he had his hands over his face and wasn’t looking at her, she sent him a glare.

I hope you’re having a great time being the jerk that you are. She stood there, watching as the doctor administered treatments to Julie, wishing she could bear the pain of the kid. She is far too young to go through all of this.

After the doctor and nurses had gone. Benson summoned his confidence and entered the room to see Julie.

While she slept, he sat next her and watched her breathe. When a tear slipped his eyes, he had no idea.

He couldn’t be there for her because she was his only chance for true happiness.

“I’m sorry,” he apologized as he wiped the sweat from Julie’s brow. “I had no idea,” he admitted. He sniffled, “I would have been here with you.” He analyzed her breath and said, “I should have been here with you.” “What if…” he thought to himself, but he stopped himself because nothing graver had occurred to her while he was busy fucking Jane.

“I’m new to this, and I’m still figuring out how to fit you into my life. It may take some time for me to adjust, but I promise that I will do everything I can to be there for you as much as I can and as much as you need,” he said compassionately as he touched her tiny feet.

Alita nearly forgave him, but she kept thinking about it and it enraged her even more, so she kept the same expression on her face, even though he was saying wonderful things and clearly regretting not responding to her texts. Maybe she would have let things go if he was in a conference or somewhere really important where he couldn’t respond to texts, but he was fucking a whore in his office and she couldn’t get that out of her thoughts.

“Well, Sir,” she remarked, looking at her watch, “I have to go now. Now that you’re here, you can keep an eye on her and look after her until I arrive in the morning.”Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Benson nodded but didn’t look her in the eyes. He was monitoring Julie’s breath with his attention fixated on her. He was scared she would cease breathing if he turned away.

Alita turned to face him as she proceeded to the door. “I’ll be here as soon as possible,” she squinted, “so you can go home and get dressed for work so you can make it on time. Let’s say five or six o’clock in the morning,” said Alita.

Benson nodded once more, and she walked out the door and returned home. Julie had started running a high temperature. Alita had assumed it was the room’s heat, so she put on the air conditioner. But Julie’s condition worsened, and she had to be rush her to the nearest hospital.

Alita kept repeating the scenario over and over again on her drive home and until she arrived. She was irritated by it.

Is it possible that he did this every day? Is that how he truly is, or not? What was the name of the girl? Did he Fuck her because he liked her so much? Was it because he pushed himself on her or because she hurled herself at him and he couldn’t resist? He wasn’t the man everyone thought he was if he couldn’t stand her. What would she do if she saw something like that again? How could she stay in the house with him knowing he was a slutty guy, not that they were actually talking… How could she stay in the house with him knowing he was a slutty man? Alita wondered aloud when the cab dropped her off near their flat and she hung her head.

Alita could tell the female wasn’t his girlfriend by the way she walked away.

It would be better for her to let go of her feelings for him because she would just wind up hurting herself, something she couldn’t bear. That won’t happen again.

She was depressed and upset the entire evening, barely speaking to Sarah and telling her that she was thinking about Julie in the hospital when she was asked what was wrong.

Alita had a hard time sleeping through the night. She stayed up all night trying to figure out what kind of man Benson was.
