Chapter 857

Isaac was probably truly exhausted. He fell asleep after just one round.

Wiping the swear from her body, Brittany lay back down, her gaze unfocused on the dark night sky.

Joie returned to her apartment, relieved she didn’t have to keep up the act anymore.

After a hot shower, she ordered some takeout, planning to really enjoy her evening.

The food hadn’t arrived yet, so she sat at her vanity, meticulously going through her skincare routine.

Suddenly, a knock on the door interrupted the room.

“Delivery’s here.”

Joie called out an acknowledgment, got up, and hurried to the door.

The young delivery guy handed her the food. “Miss, here you go, please sign here.”

She took the takeout, thanked him, and closed the door.

Humming a tune, she padded back to the dining room barefoot.

The man descended the stairs.

He hopped on his motorcycle and sped off. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Ten minutes later.

The man, now without his yellow delivery vest, emerged from a back alley and sent Brittany a

message.

[Confirmed, Joie is safe and sound.]

No reply; she was probably asleep.

The next morning, Brittany woke early, a chill flickering in her eyes as she read the message.

Just as she suspected, they had been deceived again.

[Got it.]

She deleted all the messages, turned off her phone, and went into the kitchen.

Isaac was there, preparing breakfast-the very scene she had longed for. She wrapped her arms around

him from behind, nuzzling affectionately.

“What’s up?”

Isaac loved it when Brittany relied on him.

“I’m hungry.”

Her voice was soft and sweet, igniting a fire within Isaac.

He finished breakfast in record time, turned off the stove, lifted her onto the countertop, and leaned in.

His hands gripped her waist, his kiss was fervent; Brittany couldn’t resist and let out a low moan.

Her fair neck arched back beautifully as she involuntarily succumbed to the passion.

In the kitchen, the temperature soared, and the air was thick with spice.

Brittany’s eyes shimmered with desire, tempting Isaac to devour her completely.

Their passion was a lit fuse.

Then a little redhead peeked in. “Daddy, Mommy, I’m hungry!”

Daniel stood at the door, puffing with indignation.

This was too much! They were supposed to be making breakfast, not sneaking kisses in the kitchen!

Brittany snapped out of it, pushing Isaac away and hopping off the counter.

“Daniel, you’re awake.”

“I’ve been up for half an hour!”

With his arms crossed, Daniel looked as if he was about to lay down the law. “Mommy, you’re kissing

Daddy behind my back. You have to kiss me too, or I’ll get jealous!”

Brittany, embarrassed, shot Isaac a fierce glare before taking Daniel out of the kitchen.

“Okay, Mommy will kiss you.”

Isaac sheepishly touched his nose, his lips curving into a smile.

During breakfast, Daniel kept giving Isaac looks that said, “Bad Daddy, kissing Mommy behind my

back.”

“Stop staring.” Isaac poured Brittany a hot cup of milk. “She’s my wife; I’ll kiss her whenever I want.”

Daniel trembled with mock anger. “I’ll have a wife someday too!”

“Then you kiss your wife.” Isaac was the picture of calm.

Daniel pondered that. “Is a wife someone you can kiss whenever you want?”
