Chapter 794
Chapter 794
Brittany raised an eyebrow.
It seemed that Joie did not take her words seriously.
She looked at Joie. “Don’t you have a car?”
Why was she so clingy?
Isaac held Brittany’s hand. Noticing her jealousy, he chuckled. “Our chauffeur is at home. You can ride with him.”
Joie was discontent.
But Isaac had no intention of giving her a lift. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
Watching them leave, Joie stood there, lost for words.
Grace, seeing this, was slightly unsettled.
Did Joie still have feelings for Zac?
How could that be?
Zac was back with Brittany, right? Even if Joie still loved him, she would be the third wheel, would she not?
Grace started planning to set Joie up with some eligible bachelors.
Unfortunately, Joie’s scandal was the biggest joke in their circle right now. Which eligible bachelor would accept Joie?
Even with Grace playing matchmaker, no one was willing to step forward. Joie’s career was stagnating.
Yet, Brittany and Isaac’s businesses seemed to have hit the gas pedal. Their new line, Bri-jeweled Studio, was making quite a name for itself.
Brittany seized the opportunity to sign some top influencers for endorsements, bringing Bri-jeweled Studio back into the limelight.
Simultaneously, Isaac’s recent projects were doing exceptionally well, expanding his business scope.
Clearing the previous gloom, they reappeared in the Imperial City social scene in just over a month!
Many who previously enjoyed the drama had changed their tune. “As expected of Mr. Salter, truly capable.”
“Tell me about it.”
Isaac was a known business prodigy. When Grandeur Capital changed hands, many thought Isaac was finished.
However, in just a few months, Isaac had once again carved out a path for himself!
Upon hearing the news, Marcel, a known competitor, was intrigued. He had always known that Isaac would not back down easily.
Now, it seemed that there was a serious battle to be fought between them!
After nearly half a month of non-stop work, Brittany finally took a breather while Isaac was still at the office. She had made a special stew and decided to deliver it to him personally.
News of their reconciliation had spread throughout Imperial City, and the staff at the company was noticeably cordial to her.
Upon arriving at the office, Brittany spotted Nathan.
Nathan and Kari’s wedding date was set, and although his family, the Jarvis family disapproved, Nathan had achieved financial independence and did not need their blessing.
Brittany greeted Nathan and inquired about the wedding plans.
Nathan preferred low-key events, and Kari shared the same sentiment.
The wedding was a simple affair, with only their closest friends invited. It was to be a lawn wedding at the renowned Top Scholar Hotel in Imperial City.
Brittany expressed her satisfaction. “Nathan, not only is Kari my junior, but I’ve also considered her as my sister over the years. I hope you will take good care of her.
“I will, Nathan assured her.
After chatting with Nathan, Brittany pushed open the door the office.
Isaac was reclining in his chair, asleep.

He had been working tirelessly for the past few weeks, the stress apparent on his handsome face.
Brittany approached him, setting down the thermos she had brought. She leaned in, reaching to smooth the furrow in his brow. As she extended her hand, the supposedly sleeping man opened his eyes, deep and mysterious. “What brings you here?”
“You haven’t been coming home, so I thought I’d come see you.”
Brittany did miss him.
They had been busy with their own work for such a long time, and now that she had a breather, she wanted to spend some quality time with him.
Isaac tightened his hold around her waist, pulling her into his embrace. “I’m sorry, I’ve been busy these past few days and haven’t been able to attend to you.”
Brittany shook her head. “I know you’ve been working hard, and you’re doing great.”
She could not help but feel a twinge of regret for the misunderstanding that caused Isaac to lose everything.
“I’ll have some free time tonight. What would you like to eat?”
Isaac still looked a bit haggard.
Brittany stopped him. “I made you a stew. Have it, and then let’s go home to rest.”
He had not been resting properly.
Isaac, however, misunderstood her intentions, his hand burning hot against her waist, “You’re in the mood?”
