Chapter 36 Pain

Bedroom.

After doctor examined Melody’s body, Kevin came in.

“What happened?”

His eyes were fixed on the pale girl on the bed and his eyebrows were tight.

Donald took off the stethoscope. “It’s not a big deal, but Miss Lowe soaked in water during her menstruation and was expected to catch a cold or suffer from menstrual pain.”

“Menstrual pain?”

Although he knew that women always have a few days, it was the first time he met them.

“Er…” The people on the bed suddenly made a noise.

Kevin looked up and saw Melody covering her stomach, her weak body huddled into a ball, and her bright forehead was covered with fine sweat.

It seemed that it was very painful…

“What’s wrong with her?”

Donald glanced at it and replied, “Menstrual pain.”

“Then you must do something!” Kevin gave him a sideways look. “Can’t you see she’s in pain?”

“Master, there is no way out.”

“No way?”

Kevin looked at him in disbelief, “how could you! Just give her some injection and medicine! There will always be a way!”

“She can’t take drugs during her menstruation, as well as the inject liquid medicine, otherwise it will affect her body in the future.” Donald said lightly.

Only after being said so did Kevin understand.

“Is there any way to ease it?”

“Yes! Hot compress.”

“What are you waiting for? Do it.”

Donald was driven out and stood at the door of the bedroom. He looked back at Kevin in consternation and was somewhat puzzled.

Recently, this man had become more and more strange.

He heard Kevin just taught a woman a lesson for Melody.

This was a new thing in The Kevin family and had never happened…

Maybe…

As if thinking of something, Donald hooked his lips and smiled.

Kevin in the room saw that he was still standing there and shouted with displeasure, “Donald, what are you doing here!”

“I’m on my way…”

In her sleep, Melody woke up in a daze, but she couldn’t open her eyes anyway because of the severe stomachache.

“Waste! Why is she still in pain?”NôvelDrama.Org © content.

In the dim light, Kevin’s angry voice came.

“The effect of hot compress cannot take effect immediately. I’ll tell the servant to boil brown sugar water later.” Donald said slightly.

Kevin’s heavy footsteps filled her ears.

Melody knew he was walking around the room even if she didn’t open eyes.

“Forget it, just leave.” Kevin had no intention of repairing them any more and motioned with his hand to send them away.

Suddenly, the bedroom was silent.

Melody thought he could have a good sleep, but suddenly the position beside her sunk in and a familiar hug hit.

“Is it painful?”

Kevin’s low voice rang in her ears.

Looking at the people on his side, he saw Melody’s tight frown, white face pulled together, and her lip was bitten by her.

Such a Melody looked fragile and helpless, inexplicably arousing Kevin’s compassion.

It seemed really uncomfortable…

A little while later, Kevin tentatively put his big hand into her clothes.

Melody subconsciously hid.

“Don’t move, I’ll cover it for you.”

The big hand was placed on her small stomach and gently rubbed without any distractions.

Melody woke up completely this time, not because of stomachache, but because… too comfortable…

My God!

Is that Kevin lying beside her?

“Is it much better?”

Never heard Kevin speak so gently, Melody could hardly believe his ears.

“Have a good sleep. When you wake up, it won’t hurt.”

As if coaxing the baby, Kevin hugged her and rubbed her stomach with gentle movements.

Melody was very resistant at first, but later he was too comfortable and stopped struggling. He leaned against his arms, felt his warmth and fell asleep.

The night was as cool as water.

The bright moon hung high in the sky.

Moonlight shone through the gauze curtain into the bedroom and spilled all over the floor.

When she opened her eyes in the dim light, Melody found that it was dark.

How long did she sleep…

She moved her body and wanted to get up, but was surprised to find Kevin lying beside her.

Did he never left?
