Chapter 29 Emily Went to Fiona’s Birthday Party
Chapter 29 Emily Went to Fiona’s Birthday Party
Mrs. Clark called Sebastian and told him that Fiona was in the hospital as she tried to commit suicide
while he was in a very important meeting at Dier.
Sebastian canceled the meeting even though it would make Dier lose fifty million dollars, and hastily
drove to the hospital. Fiona was saved and turned into inpatient unit. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.
After three hours, Fiona waked up from the coma. “You feel good? Are you hungry? Do you want to eat
or drink something?” said Sebastian, in a low and hoarse voice, holding her hand.
It was a stupid question, for no one would feel like to eat after a long coma like this.
Fiona grew up with Sebastian. If anyone dared to bully her, he would always be the first one to fight
back even if he might got hit.
“Seb…” sobbed Fiona, tears bursting out from her eyes, as she saw his brother.
“Is it because of Oskar?”
It was a name that would cause her pain, and he shouldn’t mention it.
Fiona turned her head away, covering her face, looking pretty mournful.
“Shall I do something?” said Sebastian, his eyes blinking, as he turned her head facing him.
Actually, he was not asking for her opinion, for he had already made up his mind, and he would give a
warning to Oskar anyway.
Fiona stopped sobbing, with her eyes closed. After a few minutes, her lips slightly moving, she said
pathetically, “Sebastian, I really love Oskar, I am willing to die for him, can you just marry Emily!”
Sebastian looked worried as Fiona gripped his palm hard.
After a few seconds, he said, “Fiona, you can’t make me to.”
“Sebastian, you will do anything for me, right?” said Fiona, looking expectantly, as she tried to
persuade him, “Doesn’t she want to marry to the Clark family all the time? If you marry her, then Oskar
will come back to me.”
“What did she tell you?” snapped Sebastian coldly, looking gloomy.
“Sebastian, Miss Morris didn’t make me do it, I just want Oskar come back to me… Besides, Miss
Morris wants to marry you all the time.”
Fiona again burst into tears, her face looking miserable, and her voice sounding raucous.
“Fiona, you’d better stop dreaming,” said Sebastian, looking blankly, “Oskar doesn’t love you at all.”
…
After that, the Clark family sent someone to look after Fiona to not let her commit suicide again. And for
Sebastian, although he was busy, he visited her whenever he was available.
As for Emily Morris, she went to another city to hide herself away from Sebastian, Fiona and Oskar,
and waited until the gossip about her was over.
Oskar was surrounded by a lot of popular female celebs. He could be in another relationship before
long after losing contact with her.
After the flight, when she arrived at home, she received a call. She didn’t answer it, for she thought it
was from Oskar. But later, it kept texting her.
“Miss Morris, it was my fault. I shouldn’t hit you at Oskar’s birthday party.”
“I want to see you. Now come to the D Hotel.”
“Don’t worry. I mean no harm. I just want to see you. I have something to tell you.”
Obviously, the one who kept texting really wanted to see Emily. However, Emily was worried, so she
didn’t reply. She didn’t want things to get more complicated, for now the situation she faced was
annoying enough.
“Miss Clark, it's inconvenient for me.”
In seconds, the text tone rang again, it was Fiona again who texted, “I want to help you, seriously.”
Emily reckoned that Fiona meant to help her to clarify the scandal between her and Oskar, so she went
to meet her.
However, when Emily arrived at the hotel, one security of the hotel told her that Fiona was holding a
party in a VIP room booked by Sebastian to celebrate her own birthday.
A waiter led her to the room. She stood outside and listened for a moment, happy laughter and cheerful
voice sounding from inside.
Emily opened the door, and smelled an intensive reeking of alcohols and smokes. The smell was so
strong that she wanted to leave even though she herself also drank and smoked at times.
As the door opened, someone looked at the door, and called, “Fiona, it seems she is here.”
Hearing this, the chaos stopped, and almost all the people in the room took a glance at the door.
Emily looked around them but didn’t see Fiona. She said, “I am here for Fiona.”
Fiona had met Emily before, and now it was the second time. She had heard a lot of gossips about
Emily.
Emily was a black robe, and without putting any make-up, she looked even more elegant. Fiona could
feel that Emily was a tough and arrogant woman.
“Oh, you are Miss Morris?”
“Yeah, everyone knows her, she was involved in a big scandal.”
People in the room started discussing Emily. But Emily didn’t care. She passed the crowd and walked
straight to Fiona.
“Miss Clark, you texted me to come here, didn’t you?”
Fiona sat on the couch, with her body tilted to one side, and it seemed she had cried as her eyes was
red. She goggled at Emily just like she did when she first met her.
Everyone told Fiona that she couldn’t give in, and she had rehearsed what to say when Emily came,
and should take a tough stance against her.
However, when Emily came, it reminded her of Oskar, and she just couldn’t act as tough as she
expected.
“Emily, please just leave Oskar!”
Emily was stunned as she heard what Fiona said.
Someone calmed Fiona down, but she got even more emotional, she crawled to Emily’s feet and held
them in her arms tightly as if it was the only chance to get Oskar back to her.
“Emily, listen to me, Sebastian will marry you, even if he didn’t promise you before, but he will marry
you because of me,” growled Fiona. “You trust me, as long as you leave Oskar, and he comes back to
me, Sebastian will marry you. You always want to marry into the Clark family, don’t you?”
“Miss Clark, just let go of me first.”
After hearing what Fiona said, Emily was bewildered, moving her feet away to get rid of Fiona, but she
failed, for Fiona was holding her so tightly.
As Emily tried to pull her feet away, Fiona was dragged, and stuffs on the table dropped down on the
floor. “Miss Morris, you know who Fiona is, you can’t treat her like this, don’t you worry someday in the
future…” said reproachfully a lady, who just couldn’t stand what just happened to Fiona.
