Chapter Eight
"Zohan, I know you are going to get married to her in a few months, but going at an all alone woman’s
house at this time, is not convenient. This shouldn’t happen again." Irtaza tells him in a stern voice.
A look of realization comes across Zohan's face, he knew Irtaza was right. People won't hesitate to
point fingers at Mushk, All this was okay in his elite class society, but not here.
"Did you understand?" Irtaza asks him gruffly, folding his arms on his chest.
"Yes bro! I'm sorry, you're right. I’ll not do it again." saying this, Zohan takes his leave.
Irtaza lets out a tiring breathe looking up at the sky. Feeling someone's gaze on him he turns back to
see Mushk standing there. Mushk looks down feeling his strong gaze on her. NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.
"Next time he comes again, don't forget to message me or call me, good thing you messaged me
early.” Irtaza mutters at her, he turns to take his leave when stops hearing a soft melodious whisper,
churning his stomach.
"Thank you!" Mushk whispers to him who's back is facing her.
Nodding at her, his lips threaten into breaking a smile. Soft breeze passes through them, as if silently
laughing at their communication. Shaking his head he leaves from there hearing the door shut, he
starts laughing, his shoulders shaking when he tried to control his laughter.
He didn't knew why he was laughing, there was nothing funny.
Mushk looks at his shaking frame from the window and frowns.
"Why is he laughing? Maybe he’s gone mad." She mutters shutting the blinds.
The next morning, the weather was gloomy, same as her mood. It felt like a black cloud was hovering
over her, she wasn't feeling good. The weather erupted a sort of uneasiness in her heart.
She kept looking outside her window, a shawl tightly wrapped around her, a mug of steaming hot
chocolate in her hand.
The sky was all gray even though it was 9 in the morning It looked as if it was dusk time. It was eerily
quiet outside, no birds chirping .
The only sounds was of the high wind, the trees were dancing on the tunes of winds. Mujtaba was
playing, he skipped his school due to the weather. Mushk could feel the intensity of the cold weather,
her window was turning foggy, She knew a storm was about to come.
What she didn't knew that this was a warning for her, that the storm is coming for her and she should
prepare herself for the upcoming storm.
Tightening the shawl around her, she keeps the once hot chocolate on the table and sits near Mujtaba,
snuggling into him. He leans in the arms of his aunt, which provided him a sense of protection and
security.
"What’s wrong my love?" Mushk asks him, kissing his forehead.
"Aunt, when will God cure mom and dad? I miss them." Mujtaba looks up at her, his brown orbs shining
in tears.
