Although Carrie hated Serenity very much, they rarely crossed paths, so Serenity could not recognize

her so easily.

After learning that Carrie had gone to the flower shop to look for Camryn, Serenity told Jasmine,

“Maybe Camryn and I were overthinking it and that girl wasn’t Carrie pretending to be someone else?”

remembered that she had been a young and pretty lady dressed glamorously, wearing all sorts of

you and Camryn so blatantly that she would say it to your face, so why would she pretend to be

“Maybe the two of them just have similar body types and voices. They look different.”

“If Carrie had the money to hire bodyguards, ride luxury cars, and wear all sorts of jewelry, she wouldn’t

come asking Camryn for money. She still has a lot of things left at Newman's villa.”

Camryn had only allowed Carrie to take some clothing with her. Even if she sold those clothes, she

“What car did that lady who came to buy the reference books come in?” Jasmine asked her bodyguard.

Serenity laughed. “Alright, alright. I’ll stop. I’ll just ask my man when I get home later.”

Jasmine sat back down behind the counter and picked up another gingersnap to eat.

Serenity commented, “Are you still eating? If you eat too much, you won’t be able to stomach dinner.

Your nutritionist will be on your case again about constantly eating random foods outside.”

Jasmine sighed. “Seren, I really don’t want to hear any more from his cousin. She’s such a busybody.”

“She means well for both you and your baby.”

Although Serenity said this, her eyes were filled with sympathy as she looked at her friend.

Otherwise, she would not be allowed to have any non-homecooked food.

Josh’s busybody of a cousin originally wanted her to have all of her meals at home and did not allow

her to have any food from outside for fear of bad hygiene.
