Chapter 3463 Divine Realm Swordmaster
God King, Medille, sat high upon his mechanical throne. His voice resonated like muffled thunder. "Pope Eugene, the cores you contributed have been received by Divine Realm. You've done well."
Eugene IV prostrated on the ground, humbly saying, "Thank you for your praise, Your Majesty. All of this is my duty." Medille said slowly, "You've done well, but there's a hitch."
As soon as the words were spoken, Eugene IV felt his heart tightened in an instant.
He quickly said, "Please enlighten me, Your Majesty."
Medille said coldly, "The three Demigods I sent to Earth to meet you have lost contact. How would you explain this?"
Eugene IV hurriedly said, "Your Majesty, I didn't fail to receive the several Demigods properly. They encountered trouble after leaving the Curia."
He proceeded to relay all the information he knew.
He finally said, "The Curia has long suspected that Nathan has become a vampire, perhaps even the king of the vampires. I suspect the three Demigods have been captured by Nathan. I sent Baccio to lead a team to meet Nathan, but Nathan refused to hand over the Demigods and even arrested Baccio and the others."
With a cold tone, Medille remarked, "Useless!"
Eugene IV was on his knees, humbly admitting, "Yes, I have failed. I was unable to rescue the three Demigods. Please, Your Majesty, punish me as you see fit." Although Medille deemed Eugene IV worthless, he did not punish Eugene IV.
Perhaps in his opinion, Eugene IV still had some value to be exploited.
He spoke slowly. "Nathan was able to kill Herod, so he should be quite formidable. I doubt the Curia can handle him, let alone rescue the three Demigods." Eugene IV dared not speak.
Medille said, "Since there are those on Earth who dare to challenge the dignity of the Gods, they should be taught a lesson to understand the consequences. Divine Realm will handle this matter personally!" Upon hearing that, Eugene IV was delighted.
The Curia he led truly had no one who could match Nathan in strength. If Divine Realm were to send someone to deal with Nathan, that would naturally be the best outcome. Surveying the grand hall, Medille looked at the many peculiarly shaped Gods and slowly asked, "Who among you is willing to personally go to Earth and deal with Nathan?" The Gods in the grand hall looked at each other.
Some wore disdainful expressions while others were lost in contemplation.
Suddenly, a tall, slender figure stepped forward, approaching Medille's throne.C0pyright © 2024 Nôv)(elDrama.Org.
With utmost respect, he said, "Your Majesty, I am willing to personally go to Earth and take care of Nathan."
Upon seeing the tall, thin figure
before him, Medille was somewhat surprised. He then laughed and said, "It's quite an overkill for you, a Divine Realm Swordmaster, to personally deal with a mere Nathan from Earth."
It turned out the person who stepped forward was renowned in Divine Realm.
He was none other than Gryffen, the Swordmaster among the Gods of Divine Realm.
The population in Divine Realm was less than two hundred thousand. Excluding children, there were roughly one hundred thousand Demigods and just over ten thousand Gods. Among the ten thousand Gods, Gryffen, the Swordmaster, ranked among the strongest.
In the eyes of God King, Medille, dealing with a mere Nathan by deploying Gryffen was truly like breaking a butterfly on a wheel.
Gryffen said calmly, "In our Divine
Realm, every individual's life is
invaluable. This time, three
Demigods are involved in a crisis on Earth. The situation has become extremely serious. I plan to go there myself to rescue the three
Demigods and to set some rules for the humans and the vampires on Earth, so they won't dare to
challenge the dignity of Gods in the
future."
Upon hearing that, Medille found it to make sense.
In the end, he nodded in agreement. "All right, then. You can select a few elite subordinates, board the Phoenix Spaceship, and head to Earth immediately."
Next, he instructed Gryffen once more in the complex and difficult-to-understand Demigod language.
Eugene IV and his companions, who
were in communication with Divine
Realm, were left in a fog of
confusion. They couldn't understand Divine Realm's language nor guess what God King's final words to the Swordmaster were.
What they didn't know was that Medille had told Gryffen that if Nathan couldn't be subdued, then Gryffen should kill Nathan and choose a new vampire king. Gryffen said in a deep voice, "Understood!"
After saying that, he turned around and left.
