Salute To The General

Chapter 2759

Chapter 2759

A few werewolves dashed forward in Nikola's direction.

He let out a cold snicker. His right hand reached for the corner of his cloak and waved it casually.

The cloak somehow formed a shield, sending gushes of strong wind in the werewolves' direction.

The werewolves were sent hurling in a projectile.

Nikola sniggered. "Weredogs will be weredogs. Your filthy race has nothing on vampires."

The werewolves were vexed by his remarks, and a number of powerful fighters were about to teach the insolent vampire a lesson.

However, Moab's voice rang right then.

"How dare a mere baron of the vampires tries to stir trouble in my turf?"

Though Moab's voice was not loud, it reverberated through the crowd.

Nikola shuddered upon hearing his voice. The smug look on his face disappeared, and he appeared to be writhing in pain.

Moab's voice had shattered his very being.

He clutched his chest in agony as he staggered to steady himself. However, in the end, Nikola stumbled to the floor.

The werewolves witnessing his downfall cheered in response.

A baron of the vampires, huh? You're nothing in front of Moab. He doesn't even need to show to shatter your very being, rendering you on your knees in agony.

Just when the werewolves were cheering, Moab and Max led their subordinates out of the bar.

Moab looked at Nikola, who was crouching on the floor in pain, and uttered coldly, "Werewolves and vampires have never gotten along. Who gave you the audacity to come here and cause a scene?"

Nikola could not even muster the strength to stand in the face of Moab.

However, Nikola was unwilling to yield and lifted his head to meet Moab's gaze. He gritted through his teeth, "I am here on the viscount, Lord Antonio's, orders to greet Admiral Max. I do not intend to intrude."

Moab furrowed his brows and cast a puzzled look at Max.

The latter seemed intrigued and looked at the vampire, who was equally interesting as the

werewolves that he had formed an acquaintance with. He smiled, and

said am Max. You may state your I intention." Content belongs to

Upon hearing that the vampire was here to see Max, Moab suppressed his aura.

Nikola instantly felt an immense amount of pressure lifted off him. His whole body relaxed as he stood up.

The baron did not bother to show any respect to the werewolves.

However, in the face of the

strongest human, one of the last

powerful men in Ariarica, or one

would even say one of the strongest humans to grace the earth, Nikola

appeared to be showing Max an ounce of respect. Content belongs to NovelDrama.OrgBelonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

"Admiral Max, the viscount, Lord Antonio, has a beloved nephew named Karlis He was murdered by Nathan Cross in Aploth. Lord Antonio is very furious about what has happened. At the same time, he has gotten news that you are looking for people to get rid of Nathan. So, he ordered me here to send a few words to you, Admiral Max. We hope that we could establish a collaboration with Ariarica in this matter." Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org

Max was intrigued by the proposal.

There were two hidden clans in Adrune-the werewolves and the vampires.

The vampires were more formidable, evil, and vicious in comparison with the werewolves.

After all, the urge to kill would only be activated in werewolves on nights with full moons.

Besides, the vampires thrived on human blood. They would come out to hunt in the middle of the night and had proved themselves to be much more dangerous and formidable than werewolves.

In other words, vampires were stronger than werewolves, especially the elders who had been around for eons.

Max could not even begin to imagine how strong they were.

If he could get the vampires' help, it would have been a piece of cake to kill Nathan.

Of course, the vampires were notorious for their sly and vicious ways, unlike werewolves, who were more honest and straightforward.

If they were to work together, Max reckoned that he would have to fork out a lot of money.

Max might not have the resources to come to an agreement with the vampires' terms.

Besides, he already had the werewolves helping him out.

If the werewolves could already do the deed, Max would have no need for the vampires.
