Later that night, Nathan and Penny showed up at Victoria Auction House in plain clothes with Carlos.

The venue was huge as it could accommodate over a thousand seats, and there were barely any empty ones.

The men who showed up were all dressed in suits, whereas the women wore elegant evening gowns. Each and every one of the guests was a wealthy and powerful person.

Nathan and the others had just entered the venue when a chubby middle-aged man stepped forward with a few subordinates to greet them.

"Hahaha! Nice to see you here tonight, Ambassador Knight!"

Carlos looked a little surprised when he saw the middle-aged man. "Mr. Leatham! What a coincidence!" he said politely.

The middle-aged man was a famous Eurasian tycoon named "Donovan Leatham."

Nathan had told Carlos to keep his identity a secret because the prices would surely go up if people knew the President of Eurasia had come to reclaim the country's treasures.

As such, Carlos felt a little uncertain about how he should introduce Nathan when Donovan asked about them.

Carlos' face changed instantly when he realized Donovan's intention. "This is Mr. Cross' wife, Penny Smith. The one next to her is her bodyguard, Ava Quinn."

Donovan could tell from Carlos' stern expression that he was trying to give him a warning.
