Salute To The General

Chapter 2737

Chapter 2737

Valmora had always shared close ties with Eurasia. Many even regarded the former as Eurasia's loyal aide.

Not only that, but Adolf, the president of Valmora, had also publicly declared on multiple occasions, "To survive and prosper as a small country, we must know our place and do our best to establish strong connections with the bigger countries and walk closely with them. That is how we can live on."

Many people felt he was trying too hard to please Eurasia.

However, Adolf didn't think he was wrong. He continued to uphold this principle of his by remaining by Eurasia's side as an underling, regardless of the decisions the latter made.

In reality, Eurasia treated Valmora rather well by providing economic support on a regular basis.

Not only that, but whenever Xyperia tried to pick on Valmora, Eurasia would come to the rescue.

Both countries shared a bond as tough as steel.

Hence, when Nathan took office, he chose Valmora as his next interview destination.

Upon his arrival in Valmora, Adolf welcomed him in the grandest way possible.

Nathan and his team remained for a day before bidding the Valmorians goodbye and leaving for the next country.

He spent the remaining half of the month taking part in interviews in almost every nation that shared close ties with Eurasia.

Meanwhile, Ariarica had been constantly trying to invite Nathan over, but the latter paid the country no heed.

At present, the man had just concluded an interview with a small country in Astoria.

"Where are we headed next?" he asked Colin.

"We've covered every country according to our schedule," Colin answered. "But there are still a few other countries that have been asking you to visit, and one of them is Ariarica..."

"Forget about Ariarica. Keep them waiting, and tell them we'll only consider meeting Bryon when we've seen how sincere they are," Nathan remarked coldly.

"Understood."

"Are there any more countries expecting us?"

“Quite a few, actually. Eagleland seems pretty sincere among them. The Duchess, Catherine, has phoned the office many times on behalf of the royal family of Eagleland. She's been inviting you to visit and discuss matters between both countries." Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org

"What does the Cab think of Eagleland?"

"Mr. Lucas, the secretary, thinks Ariarica has been trying to get many of their allies to suppress us. We can remain standoffish with Ariarica, but it wouldn't be bad to establish friendly connections with their allies. That could show the world how benevolent we are and perhaps weaken the ties between Ariarica and the other countries to a certain degree." Content belongs to

Nathan nodded. "If that's what Mr. Lucas thinks, make the necessary arrangements and let Eagleland know that we'll be visiting them."

"Understood."

A few days later, Nathan's private jet landed at the airport of Eagleland's capital city.

Under the accompaniment of the renowned Duchess Catherine, seventy-year-old Queen Annie led the royal family and guards in receiving Nathan warmly.

"Welcome, Mr. Cross," the elderly queen greeted, shaking Nathan's hand while beaming.

Nathan returned the smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

He then shook the hands of all the princesses there before seeing Catherine.

It wasn't Catherine's first time meeting him.

She had been subdued by his strength during their first encounter, and their second meeting was back when she had interviewed Eurasia.NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.

Never did the woman expect Nathan to have become the President of Eurasia during their next reunion.

She had once fallen for him to the point that she had gone all the way to Eurasia to pursue him.

Alas, the man was already married

and harbored no feelings for her, so she could only leave in desolation. However seeing him this time created ripples in the heart once again. She couldn't help but be captivated by his tall stature and affuring confidence. Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org
