Inside the White House, Garrett was currently lying on the bed in his chamber.

His wife, Paisley, brought Nathan and Penny inside.

She whispered to Garrett, "Mr. and Mrs. Cross are here to visit you, Hubby."

Garrett had lost a lot of weight, but he seemed pretty energetic that night.

His haggard face revealed an enthusiastic smile when he saw Nathan. He greeted warmly, "You're here, Nathan."

Nathan smiled. "We're here to visit you, President Woods!"

Penny bowed slightly. "Greetings, President Woods!"

"Don't stand on ceremony with me." Garrett smiled.

The royal physician who had just served Garrett his medicine was the person in charge of all royal physicians, Seamus Valeman.

Seamus smiled at the couple. "Greetings, Chief Cross and Mrs. Cross."

"Greetings, Dr. Valeman. Thanks for your hard work."

Seamus quickly denied, "I can't take credit for this because I haven't made any good progress with the president's illness. Usually, I'll opt for the conservative way to treat this illness. The treatment plan proposed to the president was decided by me, Mrs. Cross, and the others after discussions. The medicine prescribed for the president was provided by the cancer medication research and development team in Mrs. Cross' company.
