Salute To The General

Chapter 2599

Max slowly turned his head to glare at Adolf. "What is the meaning of this?"

Adolf shrugged. "Nothing much. You can tell from whatever you see."

A murderous look flashed across Max's eyes as he growled, "Are you trying to make me your enemy? Do you know that it's equivalent to making Ariarica your enemy too?"

Despite the threat, Adolf calmly replied, "I'm not trying to make you or Ariarica my enemy. However, you chose to start this conflict. Max, your subordinate was one of the people responsible for the terrorist attack launched by the Black Goat Mercenaries. If you don't give Mr. Cross or me an explanation, I'm afraid things will end badly today."

Max snickered. "Do I have to explain myself? Are you aware that the Ariarican Army has the capability of being on guard twenty-four hours a day? Our allies overseas can reach here in merely six hours."

His words failed to deliver their intended effect as Nathan chuckled. "By the time your soldiers from overseas come here, I can assure you that they would only be able to find the dead bodies of your subordinates." "How dare you!" Max roared, glaring at him.

To his dismay, Nathan shrugged.

"Why don't we try?"

Both leaders exchanged looks that could kill.

At the same time, one could sense the murderous aura they emitted.

Those surrounding them felt as though the temperature in the area had plunged.

Even those that stood the furthest from them could sense it.

While a cyan cloud seemed to surround Nathan's body, Max had a black cloud surrounding him.

The differing colors seemed to be competing with each other.

Just then, a parrot Adolf raised flew in from outside toward its owner.

When the bird flew past Nathan and Max, a sharp cry rang through the air as it dropped to the ground.

It twitched a few times before it laid motionlessly.

More shockingly, the corpse had turned half cyan and half black.

Adolf and the rest took in a sharp breath at that sight.

They already knew Max was a perfect super-soldier created by Ariarica's Project Genesis.

They also knew that Nathan from Eurasia had been undefeated and held the title of the God of War.

Yet, they did not expect Max and Nathan's power to be that terrifying. The aura that they emitted was powerful enough to kill. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Suddenly, Adolf knew they were up against a powerful enemy.

The men behind Max stared at Nathan, feeling intimidated.

Similarly, Colin, Sage, and the rest of Nathan's men stared at Max solemnly.

Even Max had second thoughts about starting a fight.

He used to be invincible and had confidence against every opponent he met.

However, he did not feel the same way in front of Nathan.

On the other hand, Nathan appeared composed in the phoenix military

coat

lookout his Leviathan mask. He

looked like a hero that firmly

believed he could win the fight.

Seeing Nathan unfazed by the situation, Max felt his confidence fade.

Millions of thoughts ran through his head.

Do I really want to start a war with Nathan and Adolf because of my subordinate? It will be all for

l

Shearson. Based on Nathan's powerful battle skills and Adolf's

army, none of my men here can

survive if we start the battle.

Max was indecisive.

Meanwhile, Nathan could see through Max's considerations, and he called him out, "Max, I'll give you two choices. Either you hand over Shearson or go into war with us. Decide for yourself."

Hearing that, all the color drained from Max's face.

It was a tough decision to make.

At the same time, Shearson felt his heart race.

He had a sense of foreboding.
