Elara’s eyes lit up with curiosity and excitement as I told her about Sofia, my wolf, returning. Now she knows most of my life because she is my best friend. The only person I can trust along with Luca.
“Can you shift now!” she asked eagerly, her voice filled with anticipation. “I want to see your wolf form.”
I nodded, feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness. It had been so long since I’d felt Sofa’s presence, and the thought of shifting again filled me with a strange exhilaration.

I replied, my voice steady. “Let’s go to the woods. It’s safer there.”
We quietly made our way out of the palace, slipping inen the dense forest under the cover of night. The air was cool, and the forest was alive with the sounds of nocturnal creatures
The moon cast a silvery glow over the trees, creating an ethereal atmosphere. The thought of Nolan lurking somewhere in the night briefly crossed my mind, but I pushed it away.

my wolf.
When I opened my eyes, I was no longer standing on two legs but on four powerful paws. I felt the ground beneath me in a new way, my senses sharper and more attuned to the world around me.
Elara gasped in awe, her eyes wide with wonder. “You’re so beautiful” she whispered, stepping closer bus still keeping a respectful distance.
I looked down at myself, marvelling at the sleek, silver for that covered any body. Sofia stretched within me, revelling in the freedom of movement after so long. I let out a low growl testing my voice, and felt the power behind it
Elara’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “Can I touch you?” she asked hesitantly.
I nodded, lowering my head in a gesture of approval. She approached slowly, her hand trembling slightly as she reached out to touch my fur.
The contact sent a shiver through me, a reminder of the bond we shared as pack members now. The feeling of belonging made my hairs stand straight.
“You’re so strong,” she murmured, stroking my für gently. “And so beautiful. I knew you had it in yo

Elara smiled, her eyes shining with emotion. “Thank you for sharing this with me,” she said softly. “I’m so happy for you”

Eventually, I knew it was time to
to shift back. With a final muzzle to Elara’s hand, I stepped back and focused on returning to my human form.
The transformation back was just as intense, but this time, it felt more natural, more right. When I stood before Elara as myself again, the embraced me tightly.

“Thanky
< you.” I whispered, feeling tears prick at my eyes. “I couldn’t have done it without you,”
We walked back to the pack in comfortable silence, the bond between us stronger than ever. As we slipped back inside, I felt a renewed sense of hope
We walked back through the palace corridors, the moonlight filtering in through the windows, Elara suddenly stopped and turned to me, her expression fierce and determined:
“I need you to know something,” she said, her voice steady but filled with intensity
I looked at her, sensing the seriousness in her tone. “What is it?”
She took a deep breath, her eyes locking onto mine. Im going to protect you from Nolan, no matter the cost. He might be royalty, but I don’t care If he tries to hurt you again, I’ll serve him his shit in his hand.”
Her words hit me like a wave of warmth and reassurance. I felt a surge of gratitude and relief wash over me. “Elara, you don’t have lo—”
She cut me off, shaking her head firmly. “Yes, I do. You’ve been through so much already. You deserve to be safe and happy, and I won’t let anyone take that away from you. Not even Nolan.”
I was overwhelined by her loyalty and fierce protectiveness. It was rare to find someone who would stand by you so unwaveringly, especially against someone as powerful as Nolan.
“Thank you,” I whispered, my voice choking with emotion. “I don’t know what I would do without you
She smiled, a fierce and determined glint in her eyes. “You don’t have to worry about that. You’re not alone anymore. We’re in this together”
We continued walking, and as we approached Elara’s room, I felt a renewed sense of hope and strength. With friends like Elars by my side, I knew I could face whatever challenges came my way.
I wasn’t alone in this fight, and together, we would overcome anything. 1 can feel it in my bones
Just before we reached her door, Elara placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. “Get some rest,” she said softly. “We’ll figure out everything else tomorrow. And remember, I’ve got your back. Always
