Regal Guard of Dragon

Chapter 825 Flee Again

Chapter 825 Flee Again

But it existed outside the forest.

A flying sword was chasing after Finley. If Finn looked back, he would recognize the sword belonged to

Chenille.

The sword flied at a fast speed and got close to Finley. But, Finley just waved his hand. The sword fell

down at the grassland like a kite without the thread.

"Do you want to have a fight with me too?"

He was saying to Chenille not far away from him.

Chenille had been tailing him since Finn started to flee. Finley knew it was Chenille who was following

Finn, but Finley didn't stop him because Chenille didn't make any move.

However, now that Chenille made his move, Finley couldn't ignore him anymore.

"Finn and I are acquaintances, so I won't let him get hurt. After what happened just now, I realize it's no

wonder you're a martial artist." Chenille said.

"You should leave, now that you know what a master can do. Today, I don't care about anything but

killing Finn. You should stand aside if you don't want to be dead."

Chenille didn't talk anymore. When walking pass by the sword, he had already put the sword into the

scabbard.

He barely competed with the master by concentrating his power to the limit.

While, Finn didn't pay attention to their conversation. His limit was half an hour and he could feel that

the time was almost up.

However, he wasn't able to ditch Finley now.

'Am I going to be killed by the martial artist?'

He was in despair.

But every cloud has a silver lining. In front of them was a barrier lake, which was formed because of the

blockade of the mountains.

The reflection of the forest was on the lake, which made the lake look green and deep like a jewel inlaid

in the mountains. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

It was so beautiful. Birds flied through the surface and breeze blew, breaking the silence.

Nevertheless, Finn couldn't pay attention to the beautiful scene now. He knew there was a secret

channel at the bottom of the lake towards a cave far away from here. He had to get there before Finley

caught him.

Without hesitation, he jumped in the lake when he got close to it.

A big ripple emerged on the surface of the lake.

When Finley came to the lakeside, he hesitated because he didn't find it necessary to jump in the lake.

'Finn would come up when he couldn't hold his breath. What he did couldn't buy him a lot of time.'

But Finn didn't come up after more than a minute. Chenille had caught up.

Finley realized things went wrong until now.

He asked Chenille sullenly, "Where is he?"

Finley guessed there was somewhere at the bottom of the lake allowing Finn to breathe.

But Chenille didn't know where the place was.

Finn found the place accidentally when he came here to catch fish. He didn't mention it to anyone.

Chenille shook his head.

"You don't know?" Finley asked again.

"I really don't know."

Chenille didn't change his answer that Finley didn't believe.

"Do you think I won't kill you? I don't care to kill one more person." Finley said indifferently, indicating

his intention to kill. Chenille knew Finley could kill him, but he didn't fear him.

"It's true that I don't know. I can't win over you. It's fine if you want to kill me."

He waited for Finley's move. But Finley didn't make a move after a while.

It was because Finley found it unnecessary to kill Chenille.

Unlike Finn who was trying to hide, Chenille chose to wait when he knew he was going to be killed.

He had nothing to expect in his life. Living or death meant the same to him.

After watching the surface of the lake which was smooth again, Finley left after consideration.

But he didn't leave the mountains, since Finn was still here and he would show up again. He decided

he wouldn't let him go next time.

Chenille followed him and went back to the house in the mountains along the way they came.

When returning to the house, Finley asked Chenille, "What is Taoist Priest Fuad of Wudang Sect to

you?"

Chenille answered, "He is my mentor."

"No wonder!"

Finley didn't say anything more.

Originally, there were Finn and Chenille in here. Now, Chenille and Finley stayed in the house while

Finn hid in the cave.

While Chenille and Finley were eating wild mushroom that was braised, Finn passed out because of

the pain in his body. He didn't know how many times he had passed out, but it was evident that his

body couldn't bear any other torment like that.

Bending over, he cupped his hands to drink water from the lake when he was conscious. He had to

drink water if he wanted to survive.

He bore the pain by the instinct so that he could drink the water.

But the next moment, he spilled the water because of the pain. The pain made his face twisted and

blue veins standing out.

He didn't know what to do. Last time, it was Sienna's potion that relieved his pain. But this time, he had

to make it through on his own.

Finley had been waiting for seven days. He hadn't seen Finn since last time. He had no idea whether

Finn left secretly or died somewhere.

But he lost his patience.

"If you find him, just tell him I will come to him again. I just spare him for now." He told Chenille before

he left.

Chenille promised to tell Finn about what he said, but he couldn't promise he would find Finn.

After Finley left, there was only Chenille in here.

Chenille always took things as they were and cared about nothing. He just wondered when Sienna

would come.

Every day was plain for him. He met Finn after seven or eight days.

Finn looked like a devil from hell. His eyes were moist. His face and lips were pale.

Chenille helped him to lie down since it seemed like Finn would fall down at any moment.

Chenille checked on Finn and found that he was plagued by weakness. He would recover after days of

rest.

Finn asked Chenille where Finley was and Chenille told him Finley had left. Hearing the news, Finn

closed his eyes and drifted into sleep.

It was dark when he woke up. He instantly had the meat soup that was put beside him.
