CHAPTER 27

Chloe stared at Aurora and Kaclan. Her eyes gleamed with malice.

“Did someone offend G**a Aurora again?” She asked, “Please stop…We don’t want to make her mad. We all

know how violent she is…”

Those who had heard Chloe’s version of story form last night all glared at Aurora in rage.

As though Aurora was the bully here.

To back her daughter, Hellen spoke up beside her, “And looks like you have forgotten all of the manners that I have taught you, Aurora.”

She marched forward and looked at Aurora condescendingly.

“You might be a G**a now, but the Ravenwood’s blood still rans in your vein. A true noble should never use violence on your own family. Now get on your knees and apologize to Chloe. And we shall forgive your rude behavior last night.”

Kneel and apologize?

Aurora raised an eyebrow, bemused.

Before she said anything, Kaelan burst into a loud roar, “There is no way my G**a is going to apologize! It should be you people-you bunch of hypocrites! You should apologize to her!”

He was a 6 feet tall man with bulging muscles. His towering height and threatening fangs easily posed a sense of

threat on the others.

Hellen took a few quick steps back away from Kaelan, along with all the other people in the dining hall.

Hellen clenched her clothes to hide her panic and snapped, “Who the hell is this-this gigantic monster! And who allowed him into this dining room! This is ridiculous-KICK HIM OUT!!”

A few security guards zoomed in on Kaelan. But they were still too scared to come too close.

Kaelan kept Aurora behind his back and arched his back. A threatening howl came between his clenched teeth as though he was ready to lunge the next second!

Aurora put a hand on Kaelan’s back.

“It is OK Kaelan,” she said in a soft tone. “Don’t get yourself involved in this ugly mess. Back down now.”

Kaelan snapped his head to her. He rounded his eyes as a hint of nervousness flickered through it.

“Did I do something wrong?” he asked, “Don’t you want to make these people shut up?”

Aurora smiled as a warm sense of feeling rose up in her.

“You have done nothing wrong,” Aurora rubbed his curly hair. “But I got this. You can stand aside and watch me

kick their a**s.”

She nudged him to the side and came forward to face Hellen.

“I invited him here,” she said icily, looking down at Hellen. “NO ONE kicked him out without my permission.”

Aurora was smaller than Kaelan. But her aura was stronger.

Hellen couldn’t help but quivered in front of her.

“Who the hell is he then!” Hellen shrieked in a high-pitch voice, “Is he another lover of yours? Don’t you have any shame, Aurora? First Alpha Damien, then Alpha Lance, and this young pup…How many men have f**d you, you

filthy puss-

SLAP!

Aurora slapped her unmercifully, striking Hellen to the floor.

All bystanders gasped in shock. Chloe let out a small scream and quickly covered her mouth.

Only Kaelan clapped excitedly, “Nice slap G**a Aurora!”

“Y-YOU!!”

Hellen jerked up covering her burning cheek and screamed at the top of her lung:

“You dare to slap your own mother! You ungrateful b**h-”

She braced her hands on the floor, trying to pull herself up.

But Aurora stepped on her hand.

“Now you want to talk about family value?”

Aurora’s eyes gleamed with sarcasm.

“Then why didn’t you say anything when I was bullied by the other kids? Why did you starve me and throw me out to the snowy ground during winter? Why did you force me to work as a maid and treat me with no respect? And when I was threw into prison because of Chloe’s accusation, why did you disown me and adopt her instead?!”

Heard about her words, the others exchanged perplexed looks with each other.

Mr. and Mrs. Ravenwood were well-known for their generosity and kindness in Silver Blade Pack. They called themselves philanthropists.

But was this how they treated their own daughter?

Hellen tried to pull her hands out but failed. Her round face twitched in pain.

“I-I raised you!” she stuttered, “I owned you! Working as a s**e was the least you could do for you own family since you weren’t capable of anything else-”

Aurora sneered coldly, “I have paid back everything when you handed me to the rogues. I don’t owe you a d**n thing, Mrs. Ravenwood. If you and Chloe dare to cross me again-”

She added pressure on Hellen’s hand.

“I will not hesitate to kill you!”

“AHHHH-!”

Hellen screamed in pain with cold sweats streaming down her forehead.

Chine dropped down to her knees. She crawled forward and grabbed Aurora’s legs begging:

“Please sister…we all know that you are strong and powerful now…please don’t torture my poor mother like this

“Mother?”

Aurora snorted.

“Let’s be absolutely clear about one thing: I am not the Ravenwood’s daughter, and you neither. So stop calling me sister. That makes me sick!”

She withdrew her leg and looked down at Hellen’s twitching body.

“If you still want to have breakfast, sit in the corner and eat with a closed mouth.” Aurora said icily, “If I hear another word about me and my past…you know what will happen.”

Hellen breathed heavily holding her hands, with Chloe sobbing beside her.

Just then, somebody suddenly shouted:

“Alpha!”

Everybody turned around.

There was a tall man standing by the front door, his handsome face very sulky.

Alpha Damien!

He probably had got here a long time ago and seen everything.

Aurora gazed at him with freezing eyes.

What would he do this time?

He clearly saw her giving Hellen and his beloved Chloe a hard time.

Would he be furious?

Would he throw her out of Silver Blade Pack?

Aurora slightly lifted her mouth into a faint, ironic smile.

Damien never took her side…she wouldn’t be surprised if he chose to help Chloe again.

Damien walked through the crowd and got up to them.

“What happened?” he asked deeply.

Chloe burst into tears, wailing sadly on the floor.

She didn’t have to say anything. Because many people in the crowd had voiced out for her:

“…Miss Chloe said Aurora threw her out from her room last night…”

“Lady Hellen asked Aurora to apologize, but Aurora slapped her…”

..Aurora even stomped down on Lady Hellen’s hand…”

Damien raised a hand and killed all noises.

He slowly looked around and eventually settled his eyes on Aurora.

Aurora clenched her fists, her body strained. She was ready to dodge or fight back if Damien made a move on her.

“Let me make clear about one thing-

Damien spoke up in a deep voice, yet loud enough for everyone to hear clearly.

There was a short silence.

Then the entire crowd burst into mutterings!

Chloe threw her head up in disbelief and yelled, “Alpha! What the hell-

“You heard me.”

Damien looked down at her. His smoky grey eyes gleamed coldly.

Chloe choked.

She dropped to the floor, still staring at him in shock.

Among all those people, Aurora was the most astonished one.

She fixed her eyes on Damien with slightly widened eyes, her heart thumping wildly.

…Damien was taking her side this time?

How was this possible?!
