Reborn As The 48
Liam explained, "That Caramel Macchiato was my challenge to Felix. He always buys you Caramel Macchiatos, doesn't he? So, I bought one too. His is half-sugar; mine's full-sugar. His is room temperature; mine's heated. Hmph! Sure, I might not beat him in exams, but
I refuse to believe I can't beat him in something else." He huffed, staring angrily at Felix, clearly determined to defeat him.
Felix was left utterly speechless at this. Even Eleanor, who usually kept a calm expression, couldn't help but twitch the corners of her mouth in amusement.
She thought to herself, 'So, Liam's logic is, if he can't beat Felix in exams, he'll try to one-up him in Caramel Macchiato buying?'
No one had expected this reason from Liam, and everyone burst out laughing.
One of the students said, "I knew it. There's no way Mr. Lloyd would ever go for Gloria."
Another chimed in, "Mr. Lloyd is something else. This kind of backup competition tactic is new to me."
"Honestly, Gloria is a bit full of herself. Does she really think she's some kind of divine beauty?" someone else added.
"Mr. Lloyd would definitely go for Eleanor if he liked anyone. She's the top of the class, and while she might not be much to look at, her family bloodline is impeccable," another said.
The repeated jabs and humiliation caused Gloria to break down completely. She couldn't hold it in anymore and burst into tears. "Wah! I hate you all!" she shouted before covering her face and running away. With the drama over, the crowd quickly dispersed. However, Felix, who had been standing in the hallway, didn't head back to his seat. Instead, with a dark expression, he slung his backpack over his shoulder and marched straight toward Eleanor's desk.
Liam's heart sank, and he immediately jumped up, blocking Felix's path and standing protectively in front of Eleanor. After all, Liam knew Felix had a reputation for being fiercely protective of his sister, and it was likely he had seen his dear sister in tears and was here to pick a fight with Eleanor.
"What do you think you're doing?" Liam asked in a cold, threatening tone.
Felix wasn't intimidated. He simply glanced at him and ordered, "Move."
"No way! If you want to hurt my boss, you'll have to step over my dead body first!" Liam shouted defiantly. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.
At those words, both Felix and Eleanor were stunned into silence, wondering what kind of ridiculous, over-the-top line that
was.
She sighed and said helplessly, "Liam, sit down. Are you going to copy the chemistry homework or not? The teacher's going to collect it any minute."
Someone who had been all tense and ready for a fight immediately deflated when he heard that. "Shoot. I'll copy it right now!"
Yesterday, Liam had been so caught up playing at Fusion Xtreme's esports arena that he completely forgot about the homework. He only realized this morning and was now scrambling to copy Eleanor's work.
Seeing him calm down, Eleanor finally looked up at Felix as he walked over. "What's wrong?" Felix's face was expressionless, his voice icy. "Why didn't you call me back yesterday?" "Huh?" Eleanor blinked, taking a moment to remember what he was referring to. 13:21 Fri, Nov 1 B tiu

Yesterday, she had to stay overnight at Lloyd Villa due to the typhoon, but she forgot to inform her family about it. Andrew had called her numerous times, and while she had indeed received a few messages from Felix, she had been too focused on reassuring Andrew about her safety to reply to the messages.
"Oh, sorry. I forgot. I thought after I updated Andrew, he would let you know, Didn't he tell you?" Eleanor asked.
She remembered telling Andrew she was fine, and Felix hadn't sent any more messages after that. So, she figured that Andrew should have told Felix.
"You!" Felix's face turned red with anger. He grumbled inwardly, She definitely did this on purpose! Sure, Andrew told me later that she was fine. But how is that the same?
'Hearing it from someone else and hearing it directly from her how can anyone not see the difference? I was so worried about her for nothing!"
Felix huffed angrily. "Fine then! If I ever treat you like a sister or worry about you again, I'm a dumbass! Hmph!"
Eleanor had no idea why he was suddenly so mad. She frowned slightly but couldn't help reminding him, "Mr. Felix, you don't have to say it again. You already told me last time that if you called me your sister again, you'd be a dumbass. I haven't forgotten, so no need to repeat it."
"Fine!" Felix-felt like if he stayed there any longer, he was going to explode from frustration. With a huff, he turned and stormed off, his movements like that of an enraged lion.
Eleanor blinked and wondered, 'What's up with Felix being so hot and cold? I did exactly what he said, but now he's even angrier. Is he having a "time of the month" moment, just like us girls? Damn... Teenage boys are so confusing!

Just like Janet had said, after the final class, the teacher announced the news about casting, just as they expected.
The teacher said, "Class, I just received word from the school that in the next couple of days, a famous director, Victor Roberts, will be coming to our school to select ballet dancers for supporting roles in his new movie. This is a great opportunity to bring honor to the school. Anyone who meets the requirements is encouraged to sign up."
After the teacher left, Janet leaned over to Eleanor and whispered, "This is what I was talking about earlier. I didn't think the director would come so soon. Are you going to sign up?"
Eleanor tidied the test papers in her hand and placed them inside her desk before answering, "Yeah."
Janet's eyes lit up. "Really?"
But then, something came to mind, and her smile froze as a look of concern crossed her face. She said, "But Gloria will definitely sign up, too. She's always looking to steal the spotlight, and she's actually pretty good at ballet. If she pulls any of her usual tricks... "I'm sorry,
Eleanor. It's my fault! I was the one who told her. It's all because of me!"
Eleanor gave Janet an amused look. "What does this have to do with you? Even if you didn't tell her, the teacher would've announced it soon enough. She would've found out either way. She only knew a bit sooner, that's all."
Even though Eleanor was comforting her, Janet still felt guilty, and her tone was full of self-blame. "But Gloria will definitely come up with some kind of scheme to mess with you. Don't let her innocent little act fool you. She's sneakier than she looks, and you can never be too careful."
Hearing that, Eleanor nodded in agreement. It was true. Gloria really lived up to her role as the spoiled little sister in the book My Six Bigshot Brothers. If she hadn't learned anything else, she definitely picked up all the tricks her powerful brothers had.
Janet asked, "Eleanor, how about I ask around and see if Gloria still have some connections."
Eleanor almost burst out laughing at Janet's mysterious tone." Janet was talking about some top-secret business deal.
Eleanor smiled lightly and said, "No need. Gloria's little tricks v Let's just focus on ourselves."
After all, in her previous life, she had made it through the filth every dirty scheme thrown her way. Why would she be afraid o
